I loved the look of the shoe, but like others, mine showed damage fairly quickly. The front part (rand) split in several places within a few months, and after 12 months, the sole of one shoe pulled off about 20%, so I superglued it back on to squeeze a few more weeks out of it. In my pic I'm holding the sole on. There are tears in the bottom of the sole and pieces of plastic are flecking off also. So when you see other's photos, look closely! This brand's quality is slipping! This shoe breaks down fast. For the cost, I didn't expect them to degrade so quickly. I am bummed that I cannot trust this brand for the quality it once stood for. By the way I still have Salomon's looking nearly perfect after 8 years of regular wear! Plus they are actually waterproof whereas my feet did get wet in these despite the label. It's the cheap materials that make the difference as I wore them similarly to these Danskos.

I have arch support needs and I was excited to order these shoes. For the first week I wore them at home, and they were awesome. The second week I wore them out to walk the mall, and Costco. After an all day wear the front portion of my feet and my toes were bruised, and very sore. It seemed that where the laces end near the toe area was too thick for a long day of walking. Sadly, it is too late to return, and these will go in the donation pile. The positives were that I loved this style, how it made my feet look, the arch support was fantastic and I AM SO GRATEFUL FOR WIDE WIDTHS IN THE DANSKO BRAND. Will continue on my quest to find comfortable, wide width and supportive casual shoes.

I had to return these because they SQUEAK on hard floors! The sole is so "sticky" that every step is loud. I know it's not coming from the inside of the shoe (where I might be able to fix it with baby powder or using other tricks) because it doesn't happen on carpet. I bought these hoping I could wear them at work but I walk around a lot and I don't how long it would take for the squeaking to stop, if it ever does.

If you want to make a loud squeaking noise with every step, buy these shoes.

The arch support hits my foot to far back and my heel slips uncomfortably when walking. Oddly the toebox feels right. If I got a smaller size the toebox would be too narrow and short I think. I often have this problem with European sized shoes though.

So uncomfortable due to the toe box curving upward! I have a couple pairs of Dansko sneakers from a few years ago that are flatter across the bottom and I love them. These are shaped very differently and the toes curl up. You cannot even feel the arch support. Tried to break them in and it didn't help.

Too Stiff. Great Foundation/Last. Runs Small. Go up a half size. Solid. Would prefer a soft top. Perhaps Suede. Rubs Tops of Toes. Better for Narrow Feet. Very well Made, Good Looking. Worth a try.

Love the look of this hiking shoe! If it wasn't so expensive I would have kept it just to walk around the block lol. But I could tell that wearing it for true hiking would be ridiculous. This shoe is NOT the typical Dansko toebox. It is extremely narrow throughout. (It does make my feet look smaller because of that, lol.) My toes felt squished from side to side. I do not think sizing up or a Wide option would fit. The shoe is not wide enough to allow toe room or to provide the stability and support required for hiking. It felt very wobbly being so narrow. Also, the tread is comparable to my Dankso sneakers, so, does not have more traction for hiking. Btw, I *always* wear a regular width shoe. Have never had to go to a wider shoe size in any brand. I have tons of Dansko's and typically love them.

Plenty of toe space, however, it looks clunky and does not have the arch support I expected.

I have worn these several times and then put them away for a while due to discomfort. They hurt in the metatarsal area. I think they are too narrow, even though I have the wide version. I tried them for the last time today, going on a leisurely 40-minute walk and I think I'm done. Too painful. I am disappointed as they are good-looking, I like the height, and they look like they should be supportive and comfortable. I love my old Dansko lace-up suede boots (with the classic soles) but the soles are crumbling.

So disappointed. Being Dansko, which typically has a great wide toe box, that's what I expected in their athletic shoes. Nope. Toe box was not wide enough. They are being returned. One star for comfort, because despite any other comforts that a shoe might have, if they are too narrow, they are uncomfortable and not wearable.

Well I tried. I started with a size 39 which was too small. My toes were hitting the edge of the shoe. I thought they were going to work when I exchanged them for a size 40 but then they were too big. Also I will say the arch was strange. Not as much arch support as I would’ve expected. I returned these as well.

These don’t feel or look like the Dansko quality I expect~~shoelace holes are frayed and they don’t feel sturdy. They don’t fit all that well and the support feels dicey. My big toe feels like it’s mashed against the side of the shoe and I don’t think they would be comfortable to walk in for any extended time. Disappointing — I really wanted to like them because they’re kinda cute but they are going back to Zappos. I recently purchased a pair of Kuru Quantums that are Really nice! They fit perfectly, very well made and look awesome.

Too small I'm sorry to say; not enough room in the toe box. I'm usually a true 8.5 medium but not in these sneakers.

The only problem with these shoes is the length and firmness of the tongue. It is overlong and sticks into the bottom of your leg. In addition the tongue is quite stiff causing pain where the foot meets the leg.

They fit but it felt like my heel was coming out of the shoe when I walked. The materials were unyielding and not comfortable and they didn't do well on our polished concrete floors. This was a new brand for me and I thought from the description and reviews that they would be great but unfortunately not. Returning.

I really wanted to love these shoes because of the color and style and waterproofing but could not-uncomfortable, stiff and the 8 1/2 I normally wear was not cutting it in this shoe. So returning.

Loved them, but had to return because they squeak loudly.

Disappointed. I have worn the Dansko Paisley for several years because of the excellent support of the shoe, which I need. Last year I noticed the support was not the same. I ordered the Paisley again this year and the support is definitely not there. I still have a pair I bought 3 years ago and I was able to compare the shoes. There is still more support in my old Paisley's. The price is going up and the quality is going down. Is Dansko cutting corners on quality? So disappointing. I will not buy the Paisley again.

Too big for me. I wear a size 5.5 but sometimes a 6 will work in sneakers. Not with this brand.
