These shoes are very comfortable. I wore them on walks around my neighborhood to break them in before a trip to Europe, and they were comfortable right out of the box!

Although it doesn't look like it on the pictures, this shoe has a short back so my foot slips out every step otherwise they look great. I usually wear a 6.5 Wide or WW and the 37 fit so there is plenty of room.

These are the most comfortable shoes I've ever had. I love that the lacing reaches all the way to the toes. This means they are custom adjustable to every part of the foot, and can be changed whenever needed. And so lightweight!! I'm in love with Danskos.

Comfortable and business casual appropriate

The 39 was perfect with socks, I usually wear a 39 in Dansko. Very comfortable from day one, took a long walk without any problems. They are a go to shoe for those days when there is snow and wet after a storm but not during a storm. So far my feet have stayed dry. I can wear them all day at work comfortably too so I don't need to take an extra pair of shoes when it is wet.

These shoes are very comfortable. My only problem with them is that the "squeak" when I walk. I have three pair of these in different colors, and two of the three squeak so perhaps there is a design problem?? Otherwise, great shoe.

I have worn Dansko shoes for many years, mostly the Professional. I was hesitant to buy these because of the price and the change in style. I wasn't sure if they would fit or whether my personal orthotics would fit, etc. I ordered the size I normally wear in Dansko shoes (European sizes). This concerned me because of the width. The shoes have been great! My personal orthotics do NOT fit in the shoe, but Dansko's is better than many other shoe companies use. It actually has some support. The shoes were tight initially but relaxed quickly. I love the fit! My one complaint is that the shoestrings are too short. One shoe ties tightly and doesn't cause a problem. The other one comes undone quickly. I need to double knot, but it is difficult to tie because the strings are too short. Now, if only the price was less!

I really liked these shoes when I saw them. I studied them for a long time. I have several pairs of Dansko shoes which I love and can tolerate well. I finally took the plunge and ordered these. At first, I though they would be going back. They are true to size, but they fit snugly. I bought them in the European size I normally buy. They are not overly wide, which I finally decided is okay. I have to adjust what socks I wear with them and I cannot use my personal orthotics. The arch support is okay. I'm looking for another orthotic that might work as I need more arch support. But, after wearing them around the house for a few days, I have decided to keep them. They are good support. They have enough cushion. I like the style, but wish I had a different color, I think, although I do like the pine milled nubock (it is green, but a dark gray-green). If they weren't this expensive, I would buy a second color.

The Dansko Paisley is a sturdy yet attractive shoe and the chocolate color is delicious. They were comfortable right out of the box and I felt I could walk for great distances -- but sadly, I returned them because the shoes had notable squeaks when walking that while tolerable for me would perhaps have been bothersome for those around me.

Second pair. Great for walking in the woods. Keeps feet dry. Love the blue color.

I love a big toebox- so ordered up in size- got 40-- normally wear 39 in dansko-going to europe soon so taking these as my walking shoes.

I was looking for a shoe that would accommodate my orthotics and these do that wonderfully. The lace up is great. I actually have to open the shoe quite a bit to get my feet into them. Thinking a shoe horn would be a good item to get. Zappos is such a great company to work with, I have never had a problem that they could not address extremely well. My only issue with these shoes are the laces. I think since they are round that they come untied unless I pull the laces tight and even then they sometimes untie. Dansko would be well advised to change them to a different style that would stay tied. These shoes are warm and I think will be great for this fall and winter. When I am walking outside they seem to propel my feet forward which is good. I liked them so well that I bought another pair of the same color as they were on sale and I didn't want to have to choose another if they were gone when I needed another pair.

I think these shoes are nice looking, good arch support, and very cushy, with a wide heel base for someone like me who has floppy ankles and needs the wide heel for good balance. I usually wear shoes around the house for a week to see if they fit before I go outdoors with them. Zappos "recommended" size 41 for my size 11, wide feet. I am wondering if they keep track of the shoes I buy and estimate which size of this style would fit. I ordered 41, too small. I ordered 42. They felt lovely, but when I took them off after an hour or so, the outer part of my foot by the little toe was bright red. I have neuropathy and can't really feel how a shoe fits because I always have pain. However, when I see bright red skin, that is a marker for pressure that could produce a blister or harm my skin integrity. Sadly, I'll have to send them back as the toe box narrows in on the outer portion of the shoe. Thanks Zappos, for your customer service so someone like me with problem feet can find a shoe that is healthy for my problematic feet.

The shoes were lovely, the width was right on, the length close but could have used a half size longer. The back of the shoe was very stiff, did not feel it would ever soften, the inside depth of the shoe, top to bottom was inadequate. I ended up with a blister on top of a toe and on a heel. I returned the shoes.

Admired this shoe when my daughter got a pair. She loves hers and lives in them during the cooler months. I agree with other reviewers that they get a little warm in hot weather, but they're generally comfy. I walked about 2 miles in them and my plantar fasciitis was OK...a little tender in one foot, but fine later on. I will need to replace the insoles with better ones (usually get the ones from REI), so 4 stars. I have flat, very wide feet, so I went with a size 40. I wear a 39 in Birkenstocks, for reference.

I will start by saying I am a long-time Dansko Professional clog fan. I read the reviews on this shoe and thought I would give this a try. Things I liked: It is a really nice style shoe, very versatile in the sense you can wear it as a shoe, or as a boot (because of the Vibram outsole) or as a trail shoe (again because of the Vibram outsole and the added toe protection) and their waterproof. So overall, I was a fan of this shoe. At least one reviewer commented they felt this was one of the best shoes Dansko has put out in years. I will say I do agree. I love Nubuck leather, love the Vibram outsole, love the style. The reasons I did not keep it is because I was looking for just a bit more support (more like the Professional footbed), and also I have two pairs of Dansko VEDA in all leather which is a similar style to this minus the Vibram outsole (which I think is by far the BEST shoe Dansko has ever made that is not on the stapled footbed and that I have tried and have the pleasure of owning in both Black and Brown). I will admit, I was tempted to keep these shoes, but I have the two Veda's which are so close and so comfortable, I did not want to spend another $145.00 for these. Now, if I needed a pair of boots, which I don't, I would have kept them because of the Vibram outsole and the waterproof aspect. Oh, and reviewers are correct; for this style shoe, they don't make your feet look like huge Bozo feet (and I wear a US 9). I ordered in a Black and Navy. I really liked both colors. The black is rich and the Navy is well done. It's really hard to do Navy right. I know that might sound strange, but often when I see Navy, the color is off in some way. This is a nice Navy. (Clark's does Navy well too.) Width: I have a more narrow foot, but always wear a B. I felt, for the type of shoe they are, there should have been a little more room in the toe box. The reason is with this type of shoe, most often one would wear thicker socks. When I tried on with thicker socks, it felt a slightly tight. Probably would loosen up with after wearing them. But I like shoes to feel comfortable out of the box. So that was another slight concern and a factor for not keeping. So, someone needing Wide, this shoe might not work. Overall I gave this 4.5 out of 5. Give them a try. I don't think you will be disappointed with the quality or the style. If they don't work out, Zappos has the BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE and EASY return policy. Thank you Zappos - I love how easy your make shoe shopping!!

I normally wear a size US 6.5 so I ordered the size 37 per the size chart. When they arrived I was really excited because they looked so good but when I tried them on they were too big. I quickly contacted Zappos and they immediately and happily processed the exchange for a smaller size. The size 36 arrived, I tried it on and it was perfect! I have already completed my first 4 mile walk in them. For a person with problem feet with very high arches (me) this shoe was a great find! This is a little heavier sure, more like a hiking shoe with a very sturdy sole which is what I was looking for, just be prepared for the little extra weight and the little heat on the foot after walking for a period of time. I may try one of the Nubuck options to see if they are cooler.

These have been my go-to walking shoe. They have decent arch support and cushion. Although they feel a little heavy, my feet are thankful for the protection. The toe box is relatively room. I have noticed that I've worn through the heel lining, but they have had daily wear, especially when it is rainy out. They are a little warm on warm (70F+) days, but still breathable. I've been most impressed by the integrity of the shoe interior. Typically in shoes, the area under the ball of my foot is compressed and wears out before the rest of this shoe, but there has been very little wear on cushion of the foot bed--which means the shoes will last for some time. I bought this shoe in 2016 and it is still doing well with regular wear. Hope Dansko has maintained the quality.

After wearing athleisure shoes every day I went in search of something else for my feet - and I discovered the Dansko Paisley. What a lovely shoe! A bit retro in design (all good) with modern shoe construction and a Vibram sole. Sturdy. Practical. Nice! After reading many of the reviews here on Zappos I can understand why this is such a popular shoe. Note: May run a half size small for some; regular width can perhaps accomodate a more narrow foot. Arch and heal support included.

This one was almost great, but the heel padding made my heel feel unstable. Might be good for someone with heel pain, but I was looking for more stability. They do not look huge or clunky, and just as a note, the grey color has a bit of an olive tone to it.

Since I have big feet, size 12, I always appreciate a shoe that makes them look smaller! These are cute for what they are (black, comfy walking shoes for Europe) and they make your foot look smaller. HOWEVER, I find with Danskos that they are always, just a tiny bit not long enough. While all other brands fit me perfectly, I can always feel my toe touching the end in closed-toed shoes with Dansko. This breaks my heart, because their sandals and shoes are SO comfortable. But I sent these back and bought Saucony instead (and they aren't nearly as cute). So a "12" is not really a full 12 in Dansko for me.

This is a nice shoe. I found it a little little heavy and the sole stiff.

Good Shoe, lots of room in toes. Easy to wear with orthotics, but lots of laces to adjust. "Waterproof" only means upper is scotch guarded, which feels misleading given the price.

I wear size 38 in Dansko clogs but needed size 37 in this shoe. They look great and very comfortable BUT the shoe laces are a problem - will not stay tied at all unless you double-tie and even then they loosen. I'm shopping for laces to replace these because I love the shoes!

I had to exchange my first pair of Dansko paisley shoes, because they were too large. I had no problems because Zappos customer service rocks. The second pair of shoes fit perfectly. They do not require a break in period. I plan to wear them for my upcoming trips to MI and NY. Wish these shoes were available in a a slip on style. Hate to tie my shoes.
