This is a great shoe and I wanted it to work for me but it was just too big. The shoes are very well made and look great. The length and width were good but the depth was too big. I would have had to wear heavy socks all the time! With or without my custom made insoles they were just too big. I have ordered Dansko shoes from Zappos many times and mostly with good results.

I loved the shoe but my heel kept rubbing against the back as it is high and I was afraid of blisters. The shoe is super comfortable

Loved these except that they did not have the Dansko clog support I was hoping for. Had to supplement the support with an insole from another company.

Well made and a good fit but I decided I didn't like the style.

This shoe is very supportive. May be too stiff for some as compared to more cushioned types. It works for me. I like that the treads don't clump or hold onto mud, etc. as much as some other walking shoes.

I love the support of these shoes and I love the looks. The problem is they do run a bit small and very narrow. I ordered a wide with and they are still a little snug. They are a great walking shoe and are weatherproof,just in case.

The shoe sat to low on my ankle. I didnt like that... The color was to dark for me..

This is a great looking shoe and was comfortable when trying on but the arch did not support my foot enough so caused overpronation.

These shoes feel more like a hiking boot than a sneaker. Shoes feel well made and they have more arch support than other shoes. However, the suede is very stiff. In the past, I have made the mistake of assuming that a stiff suede will soften over time and it hasn't. Instead I got blisters. Those shoes were not Dansko, but I won't take the risk again.

I’m just getting to know what Dansko shoes are like. I ordered them because I liked the appearance and the combination of black and gray. They did not disappoint in that regard. They are a nice looking shoe. After inserting my orthotic, they were slightly tight in length which was disappointing. I thought about ordering the next size, but I’m looking more for a walking shoe for an upcoming European vacation and these are similar in style to a hiking shoe I already own. Returned them, but may try something else in this brand since they are quite supportive.

the fit was tight.....just as if it was my own foot....and outside of littel toe to tight, I loved the shoe, the sole, and am going to try and 8 in size, as it was so great of a shoe.....................

These shoes would be perfect except they tend to squeak - at least when wearing them on wood or tile flooring. I ordered them in a different color to check if this was consistent all through the line & have found that yes it is they both squeak. Hoping that once outside and wearing vibram soled shoes on concrete etc that this will decrease - annoying problem for otherwise perfect travel shoe.

These were cute coming out of the box. I tentatively followed the US sizing, even thought I own 42 Dansko clogs, I ordered the 41W because of the sizing. It is a narrow wide. Would have needed the 42 for sure, but decided I wanted a wider toe box. Would love to know if other reviewers have worn these in snow and ice conditions and how they did. My guess is that they could be a little slippery.

I had to order one half size up. I go by the European size because it is easier to figure it out. Also, I returned the navy because it looked more like a bowling shoe. The black looks wonderful. Very comfortable and supportive.

The only problem I have with this shoe is that the soles are HARD. There is no cushioning. The rocker sole makes it easier to walk, but after a while, you feel as if the bottom of your feet are being pounded by the pavement. Otherwise, the arch support is uncommonly good, and the design is such that it looks like a tidy Oxford.

Great looking shoe but half a size too small.

The fit was fine. Trying to find a shoe that doesn't make my back hurt when standing. This was not the shoe.

These were pretty great right out of the box. Great toe room, great fit as well. The only negative in my feet fitting experience was the tongue was a bit stiff. It hits my shin in an unfriendly way. Hopefully it will give a little and my cold weather walking will not be bothered because I’m keeping these!

It was a little short. The shoes are not spongy and a little stiff. I was afraid my big toe would hit the front and get sore. Should’ve bought a size 40

This shoe is not for customers with metatarsal issues. The bump is far too close to the toes.

The fit was fine except that my heels are narrow and the shoes were sliding up and down on my heels. I wouldn't be able to wear these for any distance of walking.

I loved these shoes - good support and nice looking - but even though they are wide they just won't work with my annoying bunion.

I'm returning these with disappointment. I liked the style and support, but they were far stiffer than I expected for a sneaker, and my heel was slipping, even though the size fit was good. I'm looking for a comfortable, but supportive shoe to wear while traveling in Europe, where I will be walking on smooth and rough terrain, with lots of walking. My heels slipping were the final decision to return.
