Fit great - I'm usually a size 10 in a shoe so the 9 1/2-10 was perfect. I have foot problems and planning a trip to Spain soon so NEED a comfortable shoe - and waterproof an extra bonus! Love it!

This shoe provides quite a bit of support, which is what I was looking for to address my overpronation. It is very sturdy and would function for many activities. Unfortunately, I wear custom orthotics, and while wearing the orthotics the ankle area gapped. Sadly, they have to go back.

Most comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn!

This is a surprisingly cute shoe for one that accommodates orthopedic inserts and has such a generous toe box! With crossover toes and bunions, I am always on the hunt for something even marginally attractive and usually coming up short. This shoe is a pleasant surprise--and waterproof on top of everything else that recommends it. I am looking forward to a winter trip to Rome and dry, comfortable feet.

Shoe is true to length and width. I do find the overall volume inside the shoe to be large. I added a foot pad and heel pad to fill up the space. Arch support is excellent. The shoe wears like a hiking boot rather than an athletic shoe. The sides are sturdy. I wanted a walking shoe for the winter so my feet wouldn't get wet. It is taking a few wearings to break them in. I do like the style and wear them with more outfits than I would an athletic shoe.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE these shoes!! I am a long time Dansko clog wearer but have never tried their shoes - did not know what I was missing. These are SO comfortable right out of the box and super cute!!!!!

I would highly recommend a shoes for anybody with sensitive feet looking for a great walking shoe, even with minimal or no break in time.These shoes are fantastic! I was getting ready to go on a 10 day walking trip of Europe, and was having an impossible time finding shoes that did not hurt. My third toe on my right foot seems to tap the end of every shoe, and I tried over 12 different pairs of high-quality tennis shoes and walking shoes from Nordstrom's, Dick's, and The walking store. I had resigned myself that my trip would be ruined by sore feet.Then I found these shoes. I was a little concerned because my orthotics would not work in them, but discovered that the shoes had enough support that I do not need them with these.On the first wear, the collar felt a little stiff, and I was worried that it wouldn't soften up, but within 2 days it was very supple and flexible. I wore these shoes for my entire trip and had absolutely no foot problems at all. Without a break in time. The third day I wore them was on the plane on the way to Europe, and they were are the only shoes I wore. I had brought back a pair of old broken in tennis shoes, but those ended up being me uncomfortable ones!

It's a great, comfy shoe BUT the "pine" is definitely GREEN not grey. Not even a little bit grey. Great color anyway.

My "go-to" shoes. Incredibly comfortable and super supportive. This is my 3rd pair, put many many miles on these hiking, walking, riding. Part of my job is as an event planner, and I can do a one week event, on my feet running all over the conference center, for 12 hours a day, and I am pain free and still have pep in my step. I can't tell you how much of a life saver these are. I have wide feet and plantar fasciitis, and these babies have NEVER failed me. My wide feet are happy in the 41 even though these are not officially a wide shoe. I normally wear a 40 (or 9.5 wide) and going up to the 41 is perfect. I can even wear these without my orthotics with no prolem. Work with my orthotics too. Highly highly highly recommended. If they ever discontinued these I would need to buy 10 pairs.

These shoes fit exceptionally well and are very comfortable. I love that the toe box is high enough so it doesn't rub the top of my toes.

The texture is a bit unflexible.

This is my second pair of these shoes, I love them. I was looking for shoes that are comfortable and have good arch support as I do a lot of walking, these shoes pass the test, the sole is nice and thicker then other shoes I have tried, walking on gravel, grass, uneven ground and pavement I felt very safe. ( had a badly broken ankle 3 yrs. ago) I used to buy a different name brand, but they changed the style and manufacturing and cannot compare to this shoe anymore. My first pair was purchased last spring, I wear them almost daily all day long when I am out (senior) NO problems. Due to my ankle injury , the instep and ankle swell up, all I have to do is loosen the shoestrings a little and I am good to go, no rubbing. They are a bit pricey but well worth it, others that I have tried , the arch support wears out in no time. DANSKO don't ever change anything, these shoes are great !!

Love these shoes. I wear them so much, I bought a second pair so I could alternate them. The fit is perfect and they are super comfortable. I pretty much only wear Danskos these days because of the terrific arch support.

These were very nice. I ordered size 40 even tho my actual size is 8.5 to 9.0, & 40 usually is the equivalent. However in this case 40 on Zappos said 9.5 -10. I ordered the 40 anyway, but they were way too big. I guess if you wear a 9.5 -10 then the 40 is just right. They were also a bit clunky to wear everyday, I liked the water proof feature but they were felt too heavy. Almost like a snow boot rather than a sneaker.

Great shoe, TERRIBLE shoelaces — round, slippery and impossible to keep tied. I replaced them with flat laces.

I have a wider foot and sensitive feet. These Dansko Paisley walking shoes answered my prayers. They are generous in the sizing so I did not have to order a larger size to get the width and length comfortable enough for my sensitive feet. In addition to the above I recently developed heel spurs. I have purchased a few well made sneakers so I can walk enough to improve my health and my weight but my feet hurt after a long walk. Nothing compares to These Dansko walking shoes and they are the best investment I have ever made. They are worth every penny and they are very attractive. I recently ordered a second pair in brown. They are holding up so well. The quality is great. Support is great. And they are slip/ skid proof. Thanks Dansko.

This is extremely comfortable. So comfortable in fact that I can easily overlook that the laces make such a weird loop on top!

I initially ordered the 40 as I normally wear a 9 to 10, depending on the shoe. I ended up returning for the 41...I had to size up in this, like a running shoe.

I first tried the 38 in this Paisley, which is my usual Dansko size. It was much too long and wide, couldn't even lace the shoe tight enough around my foot. Then I tried the 37, which was perfect in length but too narrow! Man, WHY doesn't Dansko - of all comfort brands - offer this great shoe in a Wide? I'd have bought several pairs if the 37 was wider for me. Impressive features all over, and colors are very nice.

There is no quality control in these shoes regarding sizing. I bought the same exact shoe in different color from a local store and they fit great. If you can get the right size for you they are great shoes!

Warm and Dry. I bought these in the dark blue (and they are a very dark blue) and they're even more comfortable than I thought they'd be. I own about five or six pairs of Dansko and needed a good walking shoe that was waterproof for the winter. In the past, I've bought Keen hiker/walking shoes, but this time I wanted something less clunky. The Dansko Paisley hit the spot. They're stylish, heavier duty than their slip on sneakers, and super comfy. I highly recommend.
