Fantastic. I teach all day and end the day with sore feet. These shoes have been fantastic. I know that Danskos are great, I hear it all of the time, but the classic shoes have always looked like buckets to me. These look really nice.

Lightweight, good arch support, toe box comfy for bunions, sole is flexible but firm enough to support foot. Walked for miles in NYC. Love this color. I also have a pair in black/gray.

I love these shoes! Very lightweight sneakers, they have a lovely style. I bought them as exercise shoes but have also worn them to work for casual days I have to be on my feet. The raisin color is very stylish

I do NOT like these shoes. I love my Dansko clogs, and I liked the way these looked, so I ordered them. However, I didn't like them immediately after the first wear. They are narrow and real rigid for "sneakers." They also make a "TAPPING" sound when you step -- as if the soles are made of hard plastic. I've worn them almost daily now for over a month, and I still feel like I am "breaking them in." My feet hurt at the end of the day wearing them and I always feel better once I've taken them off. Unfortunately, I would not recommend these for comfort.

These are the hardest, most solid made shoes I've ever tried on. I like the style but there is no give anywhere on this shoe. I barely got them on and my foot said 'no thanks'. I gave a couple stars just to be nice to the brand.

I wear a size 11 shoe. That was listed for this style as a 41. It was too small - way too small - and it doesn't come in a 42 or larger. Sending it back.

These are cute and comfortable and felt broken in the 1st moment they hit my feet. Helping me to recover from years of unhealthy high heels and foot abuse!

These are excellent shoes. I haven't worn them around much yet, so I can't speak for whether or not they are hard to break in. But as far as the arch support goes, this is what I have come to expect from Dansko! Although there is light padding inside, the sole is very firm and supportive. I have flat feet, so I need a high, sturdy arch. One problem I've had with Dansko's clogs is traction. I think these will be much better equipped to handle light snow/ice than the clogs. As far as the style goes, I feel less dorky (I'm only 21) wearing this style than I do when I wear the traditional clog style. For me, style is not the most important feature--having plantar fasciitis cures you have worrying about that very quickly! Overall, I would highly recommend these shoes.

This is a very comfortable shoe. It has great arch support. Dansko shoes are well worth the money spent on them. They lasst for at least 4 years or more.

I got the Dansko Hayden in Charcoal Gray, which is a beautiful neutral grey that goes w/everything. I had tried on over 12 pair of shoes in a department store, because I do not have "happy" feet. I have high arches and not much of an instep, so having shoes that tie was a must. (can loosen or tighten as desired.) I have plantar fasciatis and these were the best and most comfortable shoes, and a little dressier than running shoes, but still look GREAT with all my outdoor clothing, which is mostly what I wear (Marmot, North Face, Kuhl, etc.) These run totally true to size, which seems to be unusual these days in the land of shoes LOL I am a true 8.5 and bought the 39 and they fit fine with both Smartwool socks and barefoot. I would say these probably would not be good for a really wide foot though, they do tend to look and run slim, which is perfect for ME. They aren't clodhoppers which is another reason I love them. Probably going to order another pair in another color.

good solid shoes. very comfy. I have a high instep, so it takes a little extra shuffling to get them on, but once on they are very comfortable and I have no problems.

Best shoe! Have worn Dansko clogs for years but these are lighter weight and sooooooo comfortable. Can walk forever in them. My hips and back do not hurt when I wear these for a long walk.

These shoes are fabulously comfortable and can work with dress pants. I'm a professor so I spend a lot of time on my feet teaching. While I don't think I could pull off wearing tennis shoes in the class room, these hit the mark. I chose the raisin (wine color) ones so that they will work with black, brown, or even navy pants. I feel like the color closely matches the photo on the website. Not too flashy. The strip on the bottom is an ambiguous gray or tan again making it so that the shoe works with black or brown. There is good arch support (I have flat feet) and good padding on the sole. The shoe is moderately flexible (or moderately stiff) which is good for my flat feet. Super flexible ballerina shoes just kill me. Although slightly orthotic and old lady looking, I feel like there's enough style there.The comfort to style ratio for me is perfect, and I plan to buy more from this brand.

So I called yesterday to return a pair of shoes (different brand) that didn't fit quite right and ordered these Danskos. I already received them today! Can you say extraordinary service! And the shoes are perfect, very lightweight, wide enough toe box, the sizing is perfect and they feel so good on my feet. They'll be perfect for all the walking I'll be doing on my European trip. There isn't even a need to break them in. Thank you Zappo's and thank you Dansko.

I just received these shoes yesterday and have been wearing them today. So far they feel like they have great support. I bought them in the black and I took off a star on style as the shoelaces are light grey with black dots and I'm not a fan. I'll be replacing the laces with black. My only other concern is the tread (or possibly lack of). With winter coming it brings with it wet conditions so I will be monitoring these shoes for slippery conditions. Otherwise I'm very happy with this purchase and with Dansko. I used to wear the professional clogs at work so am happy to try another style of Dansko. Also I have a narrow foot and usually wear a 10N or I will settle for a 9.5 in a medium width. So I ordered these in a 40 and they fit me quite well. But I would think if you have a wide foot that you may need to try up a size. And thanks Zappos for the great service on your shipping - my shoes got here the next day.

I have been a fan of every Dansko I have ever owned and these are no exception. Comfortable right out of the box! Amazing support...walking on gravel was as comfortable as asphalt.

Very comfortable walking shoes with style. It is a great looking shoe without being an athletic shoe.

I've been wearing similar styles of Danskos and they're my go-to for comfortable shoes. I have narrow flat feet, bunions, plantar fasciitis--the works. Unfortunately, I have to send these back. I ordered the 42, which is labeled as size 11.5-12. There's no way they're anything more than an 11. I had no wiggle room for my toes. Unfortunately they are not available in 43. The gray color is nice. Would go with just about anything.

This shoe is very comfortable with my orthotics or with the sole padding and great suede look. As another customer wrote they do have a hard bottom which clacks on concrete and hardwood floors.

I bought these for a new job, the workplace is "casual" dress code but I wanted shoes I could wear on the first day until I know what the dress code is really like. I wear running shoes 99% of the time due to my orthotics, post-tibial tendonitis and plantar fascitis. These were very comfy, I used to wear Dansko clogs when I worked in a hospital and even so the heel/toe gait will take some getting used to. However the removable insole means my orthotics fit easily into the shoes. I got the brown, they are a beige-y grayish brown, pretty plain but with my foot problems it's not like I can ever wear attractive shoes again. If my workplace is dressier than "casual," I will probably order these in the other colors.

I love Dansko shoes so I thought I would love these. The footbed was very hard, not what I've come to expect from Dansko. They are going back.

THe arch support on this is just not there... at least as one has come to expect from a Dansko.
