The straps are rough, if you need a bit wide shoes its not for you, seems half size small. Besides all of this Dansko has good support soul.

I was looking for cute "non sneaker" shoes for our trip abroad. These fit the bill! They will go with jeans shorts and maybe skirts. The elastic is a little sparkley and dresses them up.

Nice substitute for lace-up sneakers. Comfortable and look good with jeans, pants, shorts. My feet are medium width and the shoes fit just fine. I had originally ordered Dansko Hazel, but even though I have a high instep, the velcro closure was too long. Also, the inside of the heel was uncomfortable. The Hilde style is a much, much bette fit.

I had to return these very cute shoes only because my feet are too slender for them. If my feet where a bit more club-like, they would have been great. They were too loose with each step even with a sock and orthotic, and they don't adjust. But very cute, I was sad to return them.

I have a high arch so needed to take out the insole and put in my orthodic. and then it fit like a glove - perfect Euro size, I have a wide toe and narrow heel and the elastic holds foot in perfectly.

I love the Hilde. I bought the Hazel last year and the straps came undone all the time. I bought black ones while on vacation then came to Zappos for raisin. I appreciate the multiple straps that keep the shoes on my feet. The toe box looks narrow but fits great on my sort of wide feet. Yes the heel is high and a little stiff, so just wear a band-aid if you don't wear socks. - I hope Dansko has some in more colors for spring. I'll buy them.

Not the best Dansko but very cute. I wear a 40 In every Dansko but this 40 felt a bit big. That works great in the winter with socks, but I don't know how well it will work without. The arch support is decent, but not nearly as good as another Danskos. All in all, I will keep the shoes, but I wouldn't reorder them.

Not the cutest shoes ever, but the Raisin color is beautiful. I walked all over England in these shoes, including about 7 miles without socks. They were comfortable and supportive the entire way. The elastic straps fit well even with my high instep. However, I wore Ms. Hilde for a few hours of disc golf in the woods, and they cut the outside of one foot just below the ankle. Not sure what happened, but I was pretty dismayed. Overall the quality is good, but the ankle biting incident means I will need to wear them with socks.

Cute shoe, comfortable but not as cushioned as Clarks that I have. My orthotics fit in these (I was worried they'd be too narrow).True to size 11M

Nice looking, comfortable shoe. I wear it with socks. The elastic straps are not too loose or tight for my medium-width feet.

These shoes were awesome in every way except one. Great arch support, solid construction, great looking summer shoe, perfectly true to size. But the heel area is just too tall- it cut into my outer foot just underneath my ankle bone. So sad to have to return them.

I was hoping this shoe would work for me, it has a great springy step. Unfortunately, the back collar of the shoe cut into both ankles as well as the back of my heel.

Adorable shoes but I should have listened to my doubts and other reviewers before I wore them out of the house. Great support but the sides of my feet are rubbed raw right under the ankle after a fairly short walk. Now, I am stuck with adorable shoes that I cannot wear and cannot return.
