I recently spoke directly with a Dansko employee about the Marilyn booties and the fit, because it's different than other Danksos. She said, "They're shoes, with a regular shoe fit. Not clogs, with the typical Dankso loose fit." That helped me know what I was getting.

Really cute clog boots. I am a doctor and wear them to work everyday since fall started. They are very comfy and look very professional without over doing it. Really happy with my purchase!

I love these shoes! The have the same heel as the other "M" shoes (like the Maria and Marisol, etc.) which I find a little more stylish than Dansko's typical clog heel. They also have a sleeker look and fit more like a shoe than a clog. The shoes are very comfortable and although the leather is a little on the stiff side, they were comfy right out of the box and I had no wearing in period. The insoles seem like they are padded, they are definitely more comfortable than the professionals and even more comfortable than my Maria boots which are so comfortable I live in them. The heels are a little lighter than the images appear, and the stained woodgrain design is more evident.

I really wanted this shoe to work out. It is a very classy style - I tried the 39 and 40. The 40 felt better length-wise - but my foot wiggles around in it. I tried an insert - but finally decided to wait and try another time. Thank you Zappos for your amazing service!

I love my Dansko Marilyn shoes! I knew that they would be some of my favorites as soon as I put them on! They did take a couple of days to break in-got some blisters. They are too close fitting to wear socks-trouser socks work best. But now that they have relaxed a little bit, they are soo comfortable. Great support and cute, too! I wear a 10-10.5 and got a 41. They fit great!

I love these shoes! They are cute with skinny jeans and pair great with leggings or tights. They are so comfortable that I was able to wear them at work today. I work in a fast paced environment on concrete floors and it's hard to find anything that isn't an athletic shoe that's this comfortable. Danskos run very small for me, I normally wear a 9.5 or 10 but in Dansko I wear 42.

Ordered the 39 and 40 as I was not sure of the fit. Very nice shoe - love the leather - felt like the 40 with a small insert gave my toes a bit more room. :) These are great = especially if you have a more narrow foot. My first experience with Danskos.

I really like these shoes! The style is versatile enough to wear with boot cut jeans, cuffed skinny jeans, and even tights and a skirt/casual dress. the heel is a little narrower than traditional danskos, but I broke them in quickly: I wore them all day the first time I wore them and w/out difficulty.

Great shoes! They are comfortable enough for all-day wear and lots of walking, plus the platform and heel give a petite person like me extra height, without feeling like I'm wearing high heels.

Love these Dansko booties and I have had many compliments on them. They were comfortable right out of the box and fit just like all the other Dansko shoes I have. They were a bit stiff getting them on the first time and just fine after that. I've worn them several times all day long and love them so much, I am getting them in brown.

I love Dansko clogs, and these booties live up to the name. The opening is a little tight, but it's started to loosen after a week of wear. Even with a slightly higher heal than the regular clog style, these booties are very comfortable. I love that they have the bootie style that shows just a bit of sock between the boot and bottom of my jeans; the shaft height is perfect for me. Plus they're leather, so I'm not as worried about weather proofing as I would be with some of the lovely suede options Dansko is offering. I plan on wearing these daily throughout fall, winter, and spring, and for years to come.

So comfy from the second I put them on - even more than other Danskos! Great for my wide feet. Plus super versatile - they look great with tights and a skirt or with jeans. Worth every penny!

Being a hairstylist, I struggled to find a shoe that was fashionable but still allowed me to stay on my feet for 12-14 hours a day without being in excruciating pain. I found everything I was looking for in this shoe and I couldn't be happier! It took a week or so to break them in, but now I won't wear any other shoe to work and they're so cute, I wear them out & about. Not too heavy, great arch supports and just enough heel to take pressure off my knees. Standing for long periods can be torture in other shoes,but not in my Marilyns! This was my first Dansko purchase and they are worth EVERY SINGLE PENNY...I'll definitely be buying more!

I thought this style ran large, so I ordered a size down and it was too small. Also, I didn't like the shape of it and how it made my feet look extra long. Wanted to like this style since I usually have success with Dansko, but will not keep this or order a size up.

Not enough arch support. I really loved these boots but I'm overpronating when I walk. Sad to send them back.

Snug across the top of the foot for the first several wearings, but it stretches out and is more comfortable now.

These booties were super cute and look great with jeans, but they don't share the same awesome arch support and stability that other Danskos offer.

Unfortunately I Am returning this. I couldn't get my foot into it easily. I felt like I would need a shoe horn every time. It's a little plain in styling so it's going back. Love Zappos!

I love Dansko clogs but have been looking for something with a slimmer profile for dressier clothes. This could be pretty comfortable shoes for lots of people, but for me, they were too tight across the top of my foot. If you have arthritis or bunions they are probably not for you.

These chelsea boots are comfortable and supportive. The elastic goring allows for a relatively narrow ankle (compared to other similar boots I've tried), resulting in a slim, sleek look. The shoe feels a little lighter than the Dansko Professionals I have worn for years, but also has the stability and wearability. My one issue with Danskos--which isn't bad enough to keep me from wearing them--is that the area for the arch isn't quite tall enough, which causes a dull ache for me on the top of my foot by the end of 8 hours of walking around in them.

I am on my feet all day and usually like Danskos. I wanted a versatile style that would work with pants and skits. These fit that, but I found the black elastic/fabric portion of the shoe to be uncomfortable. It rubs and therefore, I must send these back. If that doesn't bother you then I think this would be a good option.

After trying these on, I decided against them due to the height and lack of decoration. They're shorter than most booties, so I personally would only wear them under bootcut jeans, and I may as well stick with my standard Dansko clogs for that. I ordered the same size as I do for clogs and that was appropriate. They're just a little bit hard to put on since there's no zipper or pull tab, but not too bad.

I am so bummed that these did not fit. I really wanted them to. They're sleeker and more feminine than most Dankso clogs and I like the more subtle contrast of the wood grain and the leather on this style as opposed to the Maria. The height of the shaft is awkward, though. It hits right below my ankle bone. The biggest problem is the area right around the heel where the leather caves in. This shoe has the hard, supportive heel but the softer leather directly surrounding it caves in somewhat (you can kind of see it in the photo near the elastic goring) and thus rubs on my heel. I tried wearing them around for a while, hoping it might get better but the end result was an irritated heel. The arch support in these is moderate, definitely not as great as the professional clogs. The look is great but overall, they're an awkward fit.

I have purchased Dansko boots in the past, but these were impossible to wear. Getting my foot inside the shoe was difficult as there is no zipper opening. I felt like I was crushing the internal heel even though the size I purchased translated to other Dansko products in the past. Returned.
