Love this backpack! You know how some BP's are stiff? Zippers stick? This BP is "squishy" with two solid zippers, an inside lined pocket, and plenty of room for a day hiking or just as a regular "purse". Really like the size. It's not one of those that you find yourself bumping into people and have to stay "I'm sorry" every time you move. Seems like it's made well and should last a while. Totally recommend. Great value.

Personal and business use - I needed something small and without a lot of straps hanging from the backpack. I choose it because of its sleekness, simple, and stylish design. I'm a bus driver I need keep to keep a few accessories like sunglasses, regular glasses, wallet, and light jacket. I have an over hang storage compartment above the driver's side that I use.

I love how attractive and compact this bag is, and I use it every chance I get. Originally used as a daypack while traveling in Japan and it worked really well. I was slightly worried about the lack of either sternum or waist straps, but because of how small it is, I rarely carried a heavy enough load to warrant straps. This was sometimes TOO small for the long days but not a big deal, since I wanted a small backpack to begin with. The hidden straps on the front are a nice feature that I used when I ran out of room on the inside (carabiner + any object with a loop/handle).

using this for travel for my daughter type one diabetes supplies. Is the perfect size!

I purchased 2 of these as surprise after Christmas gifts to my grandgrrls. My daughter already owned one of her own and complained that she never got to use it because one or the other of her daughters was using hers. My grandgrrls were "Over-the-Moon" when theirs arrived on their doorstop. My daughter face-timed me so I could watch as they opened the parcel.

Bought as a gift for my daughter to use for an Athletic Trainer Kit once she graduates in the Spring from college. This is the perfect size and color so it doesn't get lost with plain black backpacks. She loves it

It's small but it surprisingly can hold a good amount, I have - a water bottle, wallet, keys, small feminine bag, and a small tech bag, and a small book.

I put things in it

Bought one for my 5 year old girl, and now my little 3 year old niece. It is the perfect size. My daughter uses her backpack for traveling and sleepovers. It is not bulky and is perfect size to put a few barbies and 2-4 outfits. Am planning to continue buying them for more nieces!! Definitely recommend.

As always great North Face quality.Will be sending back for the larger size.

Commuting and traveling

I did a lot of research for the perfect theme park/traveling backpack and wound up choosing this one. I'm so glad I did! Like other reviewers have mentioned, it's very small, which for my purposes was perfect. It easily fits under an airplane seat or at my feet on a roller coaster. It's large enough to hold a few essentials like sunglasses, sunscreen, and a wallet, with still enough room for a jacket and small souvenir. Even packed full, it's incredibly comfortable to wear, which is saying something when it's 100 degrees out and humid! I was worried not having a side pocket for a water bottle would bother me, but the front pocket is perfect for this purpose. The front pocket holds items surprisingly securely. I've had the bag for over a year now, and the front pocket has not stretched out at all. In fact the entire bag looks brand new, and it's been through VERY heavy use! Definitely recommend to anyone wanting to ditch the fanny pack!

Got this backpack for bike riding, when I want to take an extra water bottle and my wallet- I love it. Got the rabbit gray copper and it's so pretty-it looks good with black and grey as well as pastels. I used it also for traveling. Perfect size, it's smaller than a regular backpack but doesn't look mini.

I am looking for a bag for school; since I use IPad for books and note taking, I want a small backpack that is comfortable. This one definitely fits perfectly. I only hope there is more pockets, especially a place for water bottle.

This is by far a great compact backpack for commuting to work via bus and walking a brisk 15-20 mins. However, I just wish it was a smidget larger and offered more colors. Overall, I would recommend it to my friends and family.

I needed a bag to keep in my car that was small and dog park ready. I didn't like taking my nice handbags to the dirty puppy land, or my huge book bag. this bag is small and lightweight and holds all the pup essentials! It's also super stylish, which is important to me. Very happy with this purchase!

This was perfect for my bike ride or day hike

I use this backpack of work and travel. It's the perfect size to hold the daily essentials; keys, wallet, phone, lunch and snack, sunglasses and a small cosmetic bag. Although I've only been using this bag for about a month, I can tell it's very durable. It's definitely a great buy!

Great for Carrying important stuff
