I love these boots - so supportive & comfortable (& warm!). Lost a star because I had to size up - rare for me as I have a narrow foot.

Great shoe and very comfortable, but the quality control lacking. I like this shoe enough to order it three times in an effort to get an acceptable pair and all three pair had quality control issues. 1st Pair: circumference of ankle opening was larger on one shoe and noticeably different. 2nd Pair: Extreme leather variation. The front part of one shoe was smooth and back part of the same shoe was very grainy. 3rd Pair: Insoles were wrinkled to the point that the wrinkles could be felt through thin socks. For reference, I ordered the all black ones. Hopefully these issues are confined to this color. I'm not picky, but these flaws were too big to overlook on a $200+ shoe. I won't try a 4th time. If you're ordering black, good luck!

Other reviews have mentioned the snug fit, and for me it turned out to be too snug to even wear socks. I wanted these for winter shoes and definitely would need more room for even normal socks. Too bad, I liked the look and they were comfortable.

I own many pair of Naot shoes and love the brand. These booties are exactly what you would expect from Naot. They are well made with excellent materials, comfortable right out of the box, attractive, practical, and very versatile. There is ample room in the toe box and the look is classic. I wear a 7.5M or a size 38 in most shoes. In Naots, I almost always wear a 39. I ordered the 39 and it fits great with enough room to accommodate a medium thick sock. The problem is the quality control. On the first pair, the ankle opening circumference was 3/4 inch smaller on one of the boots. Both boots fit well and looked good, but viewed together on my feet, it was obvious that one opening was larger than the other. It didn't look good, so back they went. The second pair was symmetrical, but the leather on the back panel of one of the boots was excessively grainy and did not match the leather on the rest of the boot or the mate. I realize that Naots are handmade, and I'm not looking for perfection; however, these were two very obvious flaws that are unacceptable at this price point. I love the boots and I have ordered another pair hoping that the third time is the charm. Naot really needs to up their quality control. I had a similar experience with the Dorith sandal, but after numerous tries, finally received a pair with no objectionable flaws. This boot is perfect, and I hope to have a similar outcome.

A portion of the leather on the sole of the left boot was peeling.

I almost kept these, but they weren't that comfortable walking around in, maybe because of the sole. I also wish Naot wouldn't mix up their suede and plain leather so much -- I avoid suede because they require more care, and suede on the heel is going to wear fast if I wear them to drive in. The style was cute though.

The package was not shipped by Zappos. The very expensive shoes did not come in a Naot box but a generic shoe box with insufficient packing. I’ve used Zappos for many years but will not continue to use them.

These were pretty, liked the look of them but I wear a 10.5 and purchased an 11 thinking they would be fine with a pair of socks, it didn’t work out. . My toe hit the end of the boot and so I returned them.

Gorgeous boot, unfortunately the top edge hits me in a bad place as I walk. It chaff my leg. It is worth a try.

Love the style. Disappointed in sizing. My normal size is 8.5-9. Clark's I can wear 8.5 out of the box most other brands a 9. I bought these in a 9, too short with lightweight socks. Heel and toe were rubbing. I think the 10 would be too big. I have a narrow heel. Returned.

These look great but are uncomfortable because the front of the boot comes up too high and cuts into the front of the ankle.

Love Naots, the best comfort shoes. Right out of the box, you can walk for miles, making your feet happy.

I so wanted to love these booties, but unfortunately, the back did not work for me with my skinny ankle it rubbed too much up/down. Beautiful looking boot and loved the blue color. I wear a 35 and bought these in a 35 and found they fit true to size.. Sorry to send back.

Much too small. Order a half size or a full size up.

I've wanted to try the Helms for years, but when I got around to ordering had some trouble with the sizing. Surprisingly 41, my usual Naot size (and sometimes even 40), was way too tight, so I tried 42, which seems to work, with thickish socks. Don't know if what changed was Naot's sizing or my feet, but there is some extra give in the 42, and I like it, though don't know if they'll slide around on long walks. So far they feel okay without orthotics. I have so many black shoes I tried the Maple, and it's a nice change, makes black outfits look friendlier. A very attractive comfortable low boot.

My heel slipped even with my orthotics and thick socks. Any smaller and it would be too tight. I need these for walking.

Disappointed. These are super cute but too narrow for me.

The Naot Helm boot is beautiful and seemed to be well made. I would have loved it if it fit my foot better. I believe I got the last size 12 in the Bordeaux color. It was a rich deep maroon or wine color. Lovely! But wearing it around my house for half an hour, I thought it would not be comfortable for me. The length might have been OK, but the overall fit seemed too narrow at the arch, and the toe box was a bit too snug. Sadly, I had to return it.

This is more coppery in person than the photo. Stunning and comfortable. The one downside is that they scratched easily.It's not too noticeable but I can see it when I look closely.

Looking for a cute blue short boot. I like Born, but sometimes they run narrow across the wide part of my foot. This did that but I think would break in over time. I noticed a lack of cushioning under the ball of the foot area. Because of this I sent them back. The style is very simple as seen.

These are wonderful- received them put them on and wore them. Highly unusual for me, my feet have bunions and need arch support. These did all from the first day. I love Naot shoes!

I usually wear a 43 in Naots. These felt like a size smaller. Have to return.

A little baggy after a couple of hours wearing in the house. But very comfortable Returning for a different style One side of suede came with a scuff mark already on it.

I have problems fitting my left foot because of surgical damage & that is why I'm returning them. I did notice they seemed narrow on my right foot as well. They are stylish & I wish they would have worked out for me.
