EXCELLENT boot. I didn't think anything could ever top the comfort of Naot Chi, but this boot does. I have a wide foot, more on the right foot due to numerous surgeries. Hardly any break-in period. Nice toe box with no compression of toes. Easy entry with side zippers. Front laces adjust to your comfort with amazing ankle support. I always need my custom inserts, but not with these boots. Excellent support, especially for ankles. The leather will soften and stretch a little, but in my case that's a plus and the laces will adjust accordingly. True to size. I'm an 8 to 8.5 in boots, EU39, and these fit just like my Noat Chi 39. Medium and wide width can wear these, just be sure to give them a fair trial period and play with the lace adjustments. I love the look of these boots. They are fashionable with pants tucked in or they look like regular boots with a boot cut pant. I give the Atopa 10 stars.

Love these boots! It took a few tries to find the right fit in Naot (either L shoe good and R too large or R good and L too small, or shoes too narrow) but these are wonderful. Fit my fit just right and are very comfortable and supportive, they fit like a glove. I'm on my feet all day and my feet and legs don't ache in the morning any more. They're a little funky too. I normally wear a 39 or 8.5 but needed a 40 in these.

I LOVED these shoes! so comfy..so COMFY! I am returning them because the black dye you see on the bottom foot parts below the ankle material rubs off! I found out when i went to wipe off a small drop of water. The dye came off onto my thumb..a lot of it and then left a big gold circle shape. I've never seen a shoe do that

These boots are fantastic. I did something to the bottom of my foot (I think it is a neauroma) and everything except sneakers is painful to walk in, even a few step. Even low heeled boots are out. I bought these in the hopes of having something i could walk in, and they are amazing. I've walked in them for miles and miles and miles, even carrying a heavy pack, and they are totally comfortable. They're lightweight, but with cushiony soles and enough support that my feet and legs are fine ever after a long day in them. They aren't the most beautiful shoes, but are styled well enough that they look deliberately a bit ugly, not like comfort shoes. I wear them with jeans, leggings, funkier dresses with heavy tights.

Great boot for my narrow foot! That said, I also like a generously roomy toe box since I'm on my feet all day, which can be a challenging combination to find. Since the laces make the width adjustable, you shouldn't have trouble if your feet are not narrow. The footbed is high quality and removable, so you may insert your own. I know these boots will last for many seasons. The leathers are beautiful, and waterproof at the toe and heel. I needed something practical with a little more style, and found this boot to be less clunky than my Bloodstones while still providing great support. I get lots of compliments on these unique boots.

I am completely in love with these boots for fall 2018. I wear a 7.5 and bought the 38. Excellent quality and very comfortable right out of the box. I love the look of these with a slim pant or skirt. I have worn these nonstop since receiving them.

Everyone absolutely loves these shoes. I wear my orthotics in them. Durable, fashionable, comfortable. The BEST shoe!

I have been looking for this style bootie and because of my difficult to fit feet can never find any that care comfortable. These are wonderful. Great ankle and arch support. So comfortable and they have the look I was looking for. Love them right out of the box.

These are very attractive casual boots. The toe box is very roomy. I love the side zipper. The leather finishing is beautiful& very unusual. They are very comfy & look great with my jeans. Highly recommend!

ordered the 42 my normal Naot size and such sadness to realize they were a tiny bit to narrow for my somewhat wide foot. Super cool style boot made with quality materials .

I absolutely love these boots. Super cushiony and comfortable for walking around the city all day. Plus, really lightweight and cute-- I get lots of compliments on them.

I love these boots. I have walked for miles and miles in them. I've walked in the cold winter, on hot days -- and they are comfortable in both. They are not the most beautiful shoes, but for the level of comfort they look as good as is possible! I'm about to get a second pair, I like them so much

I have these boots in brown; love them. So I grabbed them in the grey color as well. They are stitched to perfection; four different types of leather finishes. Very easy to wear. Sturdy toe box, but comfy soft leather everywhere else.

I am thrilled with these boots which I plan to wear on a Spring trip to Spain. With a once-broken foot, I need really good ankle support, and these do the trick while still being flexible, not stiff like so many ankle boots. The angled toe box is perfect for comfort, as well. The side zipper and tie lace-ups give even more fitting options. So far I have just worn these around the house, but I don't think I'll even need my Dr. Scholl orthodics. Size--I only wanted the brown boots, and the only option, at first, was the size 38, said to be a 7. so I took my chances. I am a 7 1/2, but sometimes 38 works. Yes, they fit. and were comfortable, BUT, the nagging feeling that in warm weather with lots of foot swelling, I might regret it. THEN, I checked again, and a size 39 in brown became available, and I snatched them up. EUREKA. Lots of room to flex the toes. Style--I love the unconventional-ness of these boots. They will go with my brown/charcoal/black wardrobe of cropped pants, pencil skirt, and swingy dresses. (I may get ambitious and make a long Victorian walking skirt See Folkwear patterns) So happy to have found these.

I love these boots! They may not be to everyone's taste, definitely not elegant, but fun, funky, and comfortable though they do have a little less arch support than I would like, but I have an unusually high arch. There's probably more than enough for most people. They fit me perfectly right out of the box. For my feet, they did not require a breaking in period. I would not have kept them if they had. I do not buy shoes that need breaking in. My aged feet are just not up to that agony. Comfy straight out of the box or else they go back. These are perfect boots for those of us who never got completely through our hippie phase.

Love the boot however because of my fused toe the left boot is too small in the toe area ...

Unique. Comfy. Quirky. Earthy. I’ve been a 9.5 most of my life, but now opt for size(s) up (10-10.5 ) for the luxury of lovely comfort (spread and wiggle ALL toes) Got size 41. The leather upper will absolutely stretch to my individual foot -its a softer leather- and I’m pleased knowing that the extra few millimeters I need in width on the toe of one side (moderate bunion here) will likely just take a week or two of daily wear. Got the darker color and it’s sexy! Thought they might look a little like super wide ‘duck toes’ from online pics, but not so! Love the distressed finish, will be able to wear with so many outfits. Love them.

These are super cute! The laces stay snug without them unraveling. I walked a pretty good distance and my feet didn't ache like they do in some boots. The naot footbed is amazing, forming to your own foot which makes them create your own orthotic. Even still you can put your own orthotic in there too. I have a wide foot and this shoe is very comfortable.

I love this brand, and the sole on these boots were great. But it was too tight across the top of my foot, and I have an average size width.

I love these booties. They are lightweight, leather is soft. Comfortable directly from box. Can walk all day on all kinds of surfaces.. Highly recommend. I have both colors. Looks good casual or dressed up. Kudos to Zappos. These came within 24 hours!

Perfect shoe for distressed feet. The boot maybe a bit strange looking, but comfort rules. Lace-up with zip is great. The sole is a bit flexible- which I like. Good traction- did not slip on wet leaves or slick pavement. There is a lining for warmth, albeit minimal.

This shoe is amazing! Fits my insole, fits my wide foot, and looks great. I've had many compliments.

I loved these shoes, but even when I went a size larger, they were still too small.

Was smaller than a true 39, I will have to slowly break the in or have the stretched.
