Color of boots not as brown as picture. The pull for the zipper was defective. No real arch support. Felt narrower the it should be for 2EE. Thanks Zappos for being here for your customers. You are awesome!!

Loved the boots but the pull broke after less than a year of moderate use.

So upset. I ordered wide-calf. The specifications stated 18 inch circumference. Mine measured 17 inches. The boot did not meet to zip close. Obviously not 18 inch circumference. Returning.

Calves were plenty wide enough, which was really nice. Unfortunately, the size 5 was really tight and narrow in the foot. Will have to return. Darn.

My calf measures 16” at its widest point. This alleged wide calf (18”) boot is very snug. So many of the boots I’ve gotten from Zappo’s say they’re 17-18 inches around the shaft circumference, but almost none of them fit me.

I love these shoes. Good feel, I can wear them for hours etc. I would have given them 5 stars for that. However, the zipper pull broke within days on both boots. I used a key ring in its place so it looks a little cobbled and for the price, that's a bit absurd. Note that I've had them for a year now with no further issues and they are still in great shape.

When I tried on these boots, the thin soft leather slouched and sagged until it almost looked like leg-warmers. I didn't like that. In the future I will look for boots with thicker leather that supports itself. I am tall (6'3") with fat legs (19" calf circumference, body mass index 36). These boots did fit nicely on the widest part of my calf, but below that they were saggy and baggy. So I would not recommend these boots for anyone who is tall like me.

These boots look cheap. The fit is nice, but I'm returning them.

I was disappointed by the boots. The color was more of a muddy brown, which I would have been OK with if they had fit the way I expected. The calf was wider than an average boot, but nearly as wide as other wide calf boots I have tried on. What was really odd was the shape of the boot itself. The ankle and heel were wide and had quite a lot of vertical room so my foot kind of swam in the boot. And because of that, the boot unflattering slouched around my ankle. The arch and toe-box were actually very narrow, but again there was a lot of extra height, so my toes kind of piled on each other, versus fit in the boot. These boots are probably very comfortable for a pregnant woman whose feet/calves are swelling, not necessarily naturally wide.

Cute style but with my short legs the top of the boots was way too wide. Made my legs look really fat.

I love how these fit and I love how these look but I'm very upset that both zipper pulls have broken off within 3 months of purchase, which is the reason for the drop in stars on the overall review.

Great boots. I bought them in black and brown. Only problem is the zipper pulls break really easily. So far I've broken 3 out of two pairs. If it weren't so hard to find boots to fit well, I would't have ordered a second pair. I've replace the tabs, but I wish they would make the ones that come with the boots stronger. They shouldn't break for as much as they cost.

Even with a wide size it was narrow in the toe. Lovely boot, sorry to have to return it.

A nice boot overall, however with a 16 in calf it was way too big in the calf. I liked the look and the over fit in the foot bed was good, but I felt like it was just way too sloppy up top.

Looks and feels great but the pull on one boot broke after 2 months of moderate wearing. Disappointing!

Both boots had broken zippers so I had to return them. I was able to try them on though. They were quite tight around my calves so I probably would not have kept them even if they weren’t broken.

Based on price and description I thought these boots were leather. Upon trying on, and looking at printed info inside boot it is synthetic leather.

I didn't find that the "hidden goring" did much to help these fit my large calves. Had to return them.

Too narrow in the calf, even though this is a wide calf boot. Unfortunately I'll be returning these.

Extremely cheap looking, they had scuffs and loose threads.

Poor quality zipper...buyer beware! First time zipping up, the zipper pull snapped off the zipper. Beautiful boots. Fit great. Lovely color. But cheap parts for an expensive boot.

I liked these boots, and was happy with the fit, although the quality does not appear to justify the price. After fewer than ten wears, both zipper pulls have broken off, making it basically impossible to unzip the boots. I am very unhappy with the cheap hardware on such expensive boots - I feel that except for the wide width, I could have found equivalent quality at Target for $30.
