When my slippers arrived, I found they were about a half-size too small. I sent them back with no problem and Zappos had the price credited to my credit card account right away. I am 81 years old and have rheumatoid arthritis, and need a slipper I can wear all day. My larger slippers arrived, and I love them. They keep my feet warm, and I like the fact that I can go outside in them. These slippers are very pretty. (I didn't want any that looked like an old lady!) I have ordered orthotics, and these slippers are deep enough to accommodate them. Great buy!

This is a lovely slipper, but the sizing is so off! I wear a 9 and got the XL and my toes were squished. Sadly I have to return them..

I let out an audible gasp when I put these on- they are so comfortable! Really felt like my foot was on a cushiony cloud. Delighted! Good support for walking around the house in, love that they are machine washable. These are a quick favorite!

I love these slippers, the best ones I've had. Some slippers feel like you have shoes on, not these. Totally comfortable. Also, I have a high arch and these are great for that.

I normally wear 8 1/2, but I chose 6.5/7.5 and they fit perfectly.

I am a size 7.5/8 so I ordered the Large initially. The fit was fine in the toebox, and felt ok everywhere else, until I started walking. My heel came fully out of the shoe with each stride. So I returned (always great returns with Zappos) and got the Medium. It's a touch short overall but I think once the fluff flattens in time it will fit great. It's honestly still a touch loose in the heel but in a very tolerable way. Comfy and cute, for certain.

I have tried so many slippers recently, desperate to find the holy grail of slipper-dom. This is as close as I have come to finding the perfect slipper. Tried LL Bean Shearling Mocs - too flat, too narrow in the toes. Acorn mules - lip at the back of heel aggravated me and didn't like the sensation with every step. Lands' End Shearling - perfect, except for the narrow toes. Ugg boots in 2 different heights - too tight or too big, Ugg slippers - too narrow in toe. Old Friend Ewe slippers - too loose. Dearfoams - go flat in two weeks, but fit perfectly. Acorn Mocs - stay on my feet (ideal for stairs and hammertoes), fit my lollipop 8.5 wide feet in size 8-9, cannot feel embroidered acorn under heel as I feared from other reviews. Washable (HUGE plus. Big drawback with shearling). Very cushy. Time will tell if they flatten. Slippers are for shuffling around, not all day wear to do chores, so I keep that in mind. For those purposes, I wear my crocs with wool socks. I will be buying these up 2 pairs at a time this winter so I have extras when these kick the bucket. I am thrilled. Thank you, Zappos, once again!

Having worn the UGG brand slippers for years these Acorn slippers are a genuine FIND. Great comfort, style and value. I found a winner!

These are my second pair of Acorn slippers. Cute, warm, and such good value. I had my first pair for years (although I do live in So California and only wear warm slippers a few months of the year). I bought the size 6. I usually wear a 6, but sometimes a 6 1/2. For the first few times I wore them, they were almost, but not quite, tight. But they are so fluffy-cozy inside I knew there would be more space as soon as the fleece packed down a bit. And that is exactly what has happened. I now have a perfect fit. The style goes perfectly with my sock monkey.

Love this shoe! Just didn’t work with my narrow heels.

These are my favorite slippers. I’ve been wearing them for years. They are super comfy, keep your feet warm in the winter and are even fine in the summer - probably because wool has that magical thing about it. I hope Acorn never stops making them.

Choosing slippers is very important to me -- I work from a home office in a shoes-off house, so I wear my slippers most of the day, every day, more than any other shoe I wear. I also have very cold feet and live in a cold climate, so I like WARM, COZY, fully enclosed slippers (no open backs for me!). And I like a good, solid, non-slip sole. When I wore holes in my last pair of slippers I read reviews carefully and ordered four pairs to try on. These Acorn slippers were the winner! I usually wear a 9 or 9 1/2 shoe. I ordered XL (the largest size available!) and my toes are touching the end of the shoe. I sort of wish I could buy a half size larger, but it doesn't exist. They are definitely warm and cozy, and hopefully as the lining compresses my toes won't feel too squished. Compared to all the others I tried, these were the best hands-down.

These slippers are comfortable, fit true to size (I wear an 8 1/2 or 39 and purchased the large), are as pictured. They are cozy. The sole is ideal for quick runs outside. The price is right. They were the perfect purchase.

I've had many pairs of this slipper over the years, but similar to another review, they wear out so much faster than they used to. I ordered a pair on Sept 1, and with daily wear less than 3 months later there's almost no cushion left on the inside. I've bought insoles to try to extend the life, but this will likely be my last pair.

I wear a 9-9 1/2 depending on the shoe. I ordered the 9.5-10.5 size. Length was okay but the heel was so wide it was like walking in flip flops. Also, I know a size 9+ is not always as cute looking as a smaller size but these, unlike the photo, looked like Grandpa slippers in my size. Sorry to say I am returning them.

Runs really small. I got an XL - normally wear size 10 - and my toe was smashed up against the front. Seemed comfy so I'm disappointed

Comfy and snug, with some give. I wear 8.5 shoes and the 8-9 fits me perfectly. And you can machine wash them!

The slippers are very soft. I wear with no socks. Perfect to slip into. They are cute too

These slippers are indeed awesome! Sooooo comfortable right out of the box. I love the dark red color too. They felt a little loose in the back, so I put on a pair of lightweight socks, and now they are just right. Happy feet! Thanks for Zappos always excellent service.

These are the best slippers! I bought a pair a few years ago, and when they finally fell apart (I wear them a LOT), I bought a few different styles to see if I could find something better. But no. Of the four slippers these were by far and again the best. They are warm, fit snuggly (I hate floppy slippers, especially on the heel), and have enough support that I can cook in them without my feet getting sore. The best!

very comfortable but I had to buy two sizes bigger than what I normally wear. The inside is nice and soft. Hard sole on the bottom.

These slippers fit me perfectly and are super comfy and warm. There is a nice arch support which you don't find in most slippers. I like that the Acorn brand has the arch support in their slippers. I have a lot of problems with my feet, and it's especially good to find a slipper to put on at the end of the day that is comfortable.
