These shoes besides being absolutely adorable are also good for babies feet. Stride Rite has become a brand my family loves, all 3 of my children wore stride rites because they improve balance, have memory foam for comfort, flexible to encourage natural movement and are backed by the American Podiatric Medical Association so your doing something good for your babies feet when buying the stride rite brand. These are amazing for children leaning to walk all of my children walked as soon as they put the shoes on I swear by this brand and recommend them to anyone who tells me their child is learning to walk. My 14 month old loves these! Very stylish and such great quality :) the rounded edges help him keep his balance and the flexibility of them made him feel free... Almost like he wasn't wearing any. The memory foam made them even more comfortable. I've tried many other brands of shoes but he would never keep them on... With these he was bringing them to me to put them back on. Love that Stride Rite made a shoe with wobbly walkers in mind. Thank you Stride Rite for letting us try them for free!

I was able to try these shoes in exchange for my honest opinion and I am so so glad I did because I love these shoes! And so does my little boy!! They are super easy to put on, absolutely adorable, they don't hurt his feet at all and the stay on the entire time!! No more losing one shoe! We got a 6 Wide because he has a wide foot and high instep. Finding shoes that met all of our needs was very difficult until these!! The soft motion is great because he can feel the ground in them and he is able to stay balanced. I highly recommend these!!

I love how Soft Motion shoes are designed to encourage natural movement in wobbly toddlers, with rounded soles, memory foam and added flexibility to improve balance, comfort and ease of movement. I bought these for my 1 year old and love them so much! They go with everything!

I can honestly say I was somewhat hesitant in ordering these boots for my little guy because we have had a few similar styles of boots and they are always heavy, thick, and clunky. They usually end up in the back of the closet covered in dust because they are difficult to get on/lace up and he struggles walking in them. As much as I love the style I was sure there was no hope. I received these in the mail today and to my surprise they are the exact opposite of everything I feared them to be! They are surprisingly light and extremely flexible! They are most convenient in the slip-em-on-department (especially for a little guy who is in continuous motion). And although he normally tugging his shoes off the minute we get inside, he's been running, climbing, and jumping around inside with these on for the last half hour! It's almost as if he were barefoot! I'm so glad I received these boots for free in exchange for my opinion! This will definitely not be our last pair of Stride Rite shoes!

I got this shoe thanks to strid rite for free. So far only shoe that my 10 month old walks good in. I like how it's rounded and soft. The shoes are also flexible. The color and design looks great too. I recommend stride rite for all new walkers.

These shoes are perfect in every way. They have really helped my son walk better and walk longer distances. They are incredibly flexible and comfortable. My son never complains to put them on or whines when they're on his feet. I love that it comes with such a wide opening and has a wide option. My baby's chubby feet used to take 10 minutes to uncomfortably squeeze into ther shoes but they just slide right into these. I think Stride Rite Soft Motion shoes are a must have for all early walkers. I absolutely love the wide opening that allows me to easily slip the shoes on my wiggly little man even at his wiggliest moments. The soft flexible, rounded bottom helps him stay sturdy and balanced while still being in control of his movement. His movements seem more fluid and much less forced than with a basic shoe and with the memory foam insole every step is cushioned and comfortable. Plus with so many great styles to choose from my little guy will be ready for any occasion. I recieved this product in exchange of my honest and unbiased review.

When we first got these shoes, my little guy was just attempting to figure out the whole walking thing. I really wanted to see if he would be able to take to walking with shoes right from the get-go (my other girls had a hard time walking around in clunky shoes). He was able to walk very easily in them! They are not clunky at all! Some kids will trip on their shoes if they are too large, but these shoes seemed to act just like feet, and didn't get in his way. The only thing I found (after very accurately measuring his feet to find his correct size) was that they were somewhat hard to get on his little chunky feet. We have received many compliments (even some from 16 year old boys) about how stylish they are! We love them and would definitely purchase them. A bit hard to put on at first but we got used to it and it loosened up a bit. Good boots for infants, the soles are not too hard. It's hard to size shoes for kids online and maybe that's why they were a bit snug first too, I wish zappos would show the shoe Brand size in cms as I know how long their feet are in centimeters.

Before I even ordered these adorable boots I measured my 20 month old son’s feet, both length and width. While Stride Rite gives wonderful and easy to follow instructions for measuring your child’s feet, it is much easier said than done considering toddlers (mine at least) do not stay still. After what seemed like 20 minutes and help from my husband, I finally got the little guy’s feet measured. I definitely recommend measuring both the length AND width. The last time my son’s foot was measured he was a wide, however now he is normal. These boots are even more adorable in person than they are on screen. I find it hard to find cute shoes for boys and was excited I found these. My son loves shoes, he wears them constantly and we change shoes multiple times throughout the day and these little boots are no exception. These might even be his favorites as he normally grabs these first. I find the shoes to be perfect for everyday wear and church wear and family pictures. I love the flexible soles and wish we would have had soft motion shoes as our first pair as I think it might have made figuring out shoes a bit easier. However, I do think we are at the end of being able to use soft motion because as he gets older, he get rougher and I feel like he needs tougher shoe that will protect his feet more as he get more adventurous in running around different terrains.

I usually have trouble with my 1.5 year old leaving shoes on because the has chubby feet. I do not have that problem with these shoes. He loves them and leaves them on all day. The only reason I dont give them 5 stars is because the material is looking a little worn out and Ive only had them 1 month. *I got this product free to try out thanks to Stride Rite.

If you have an early walker the Soft Motion shoes are a good choice. They are super flexible but not like the soft crib shoes that are sort of impractical for anywhere but inside the house. The rubber has lots of grooves so the shoes can bend every which way. The memory foam is a nice touch too. They open really wide and are easy to put on a squirmy baby. My only complaint is that my baby can pull them off easily. He does tend to be a bit of a Houdini with diapers, clothes, etc., but these shoes haven't won the battle in our house. I still like them though because they are such cute boots for fall/winter. Thanks to Stride Rite we were able to try them for free!

I ordered these shoes for my 17-month-old little girl, who loves bows and flowers, but needed some practical fall boots. These appear to be well made, and are our third pair of soft motion shoes. The rubberized toe is great in case of falls (the shoes don't get ruined/scuffed up) and they have been comfortable and easy for her to walk in with their rounded soles and memory foam. The sizing system is fairly straightforward, but in my case trying to get a toddler to stand with her heal against the wall was near impossible. We got the right side anyway, so I guess it worked itself out! Personally, it bugs be a little bit that these boots are clearly marketed for boys, even though there is no reason a little girl can't wear them, too. I would love for Stride Rite to make/promote a few more gender neutral options. Not every girl shoe has to be bright or sparkly, and not every boy shoe as to be dark or blue. Overall, we like the boots and we are happy with all of our Stride Rite shoes. They last and are easy to get on and off a wiggly toddler. Cute boots but too difficult to put on my 15 month old's foot with thin socks. I am having to return them.

Sent these to my grandson. He wears a sz 6 in athletic shoes, but this sz 6 was too small & had to be returned.

These shoes seemed very comfortable and would probably hold up well. I also appreciate the velcro closure for easy on and off. However, they seemed a bit long in the toe area making the shoe look awkward.

I couldn't even get these on my 10 mos. old. The elastics prevented me from sliding them on. Terrible design!
