I measured my daughter before ordering these mittens and the sizing chart for these is TOTALLY off. I ordered the medium for my 7-year-old daughter and the mittens fit me! I’m 5’10.” My hands are not small. They seem very nice but I will have to reorder and XS.

The mittens themselves were great. Seemed very durable and the color was perfect. The sizing is way off. After reading other reviews, I ordered a youth size SM for my 6 year old who is very tall for her age. These gloves are nowhere near her size. She may grow into them as a teenager. I would say they are more like an adult small as opposed to a youth small.

My son is a teenager boy, nothing last long in his hands. I got him 2 pairs gloves for this winter but they did not last. This is the third one, it seems able to last for awhile.

My daughter likes these mittens because, in her words, they are warmer for longer periods of time. She also likes the adjustable straps around the wrist, which makes them feel more secure. She describes the fit as looser across the palm, and likes that they fit over her jacket (even a "puffy coat") to keep snow out. "You don't need any hand warmers with these!" It's hard to find anything wrong with these mittens.

Great snow gloves. Warm, easy to put on, keeps moisture out. I bought these in small and medium as I wasn't sure what would fit my 6 year old. The small fits, but it a little big. The medium is huge, but I plan to save it and use it when my kids grow.

I bought a pair of these for my son after his cold hands kept him from enjoying our day of skiing. These keep his hands so warm when he's just playing in the snow. For a day of skiing on the coldest days he still gets cold hands but with mittens it's easy to toss in a hand warmer and he feels better quickly. I ended buying a pair for my daughter too. I like that they come up the wrist a little ways too.

After going through several pairs of cheaper mittens that would leave my son's hands soaked and freezing after playing in the snow, I decided to spend a little more for quality mittens. These are great! They keep my son's hands warm and dry even when the outsides of the mittens are wet from snow. He is a big 5 year old, and the size small is perfect. He loves them, and I am very happy with the quality!

These are great mittens for the slopes or playing in the snow. Temps around 30+ no under glove was needed for several hours on the slopes. Below 30 you might want a cheap under glove if you are staying out for several hours (and don't use hand warmers)

Purchased for my 4yr old. Amazing mittens! She often takes her mittens off because her hands are hot. She has put these to the waterproof test and they have definitely held up!

Got these for my son. We live in Minnesota. Harsh winters can test all cold weather gear. My son has said his fingers are warm. So they work great. Tested tough!

These are our favorite mitten. They are plush and warm. My son lost one of his mittens this school year and I quickly replaced it with box store mittens. After a few snow storms and cold days and 3 different sets from various brands I thought would be comparable, I was wrong. I purchased these mittens again and his hands are warm and dry again. There just is no comparison other than these stand up to cold and moisture better than others. The seams are watertight, they are flexible to grab things, they are warm and dry too. If you have a hard time getting arthritic or little fingers into gloves, then these are a perfect mitten. So easy to put on!

My wife bought this pair (child size L fits a small - medium adult) and loves these. My worry with buying kids winter gear is always that "kids" = "flimsy", not in this case, these gloves are great. These did well on all accounts (durability, warmth, water resistance) even when she had to be outside clearing off her car in the sub-zero temps of a Minnesota winter. Palm material strikes a good balance between durability and flexibility with a slight bias to flexibility.
