I bought these for my boys 9 and 12. They are roughly the same size in shoes. First go around I bought them their shoe size when they arrived they were toooo small. I reordered and sized up 2 sizes as they are in boots from November-June where we live. And a little wiggle room is good with their warm thick socks on. They fit both perfectly. They have goo traction and the lace up is awesome! I would recommend but size up at least 1 size.

My son is currently wearing size 8 tennis shoes and the size 7 boots fit him with room to grow.

I got these boots in 3 different colors for my 3 kids (2 girls and a boy). Ages 10, 8, 6. They all love them! They can all put them on themselves. They run around the yard in them all day so they don’t seem too heavy or bulky. They are so cute too!

Perfect for winter weather

These are great snow boots. They are a little bit heavy but it's clear these are "the real deal." Snow will not get into the boot and feet will stay warm. Many boots claim to be waterproof but this one has a big rubber sole with great traction that would allow for trekking through slush. My daughter is 8 and these were easy to get off and on and fit just below the knee.

These will be perfect for the MN winter. I do feel like they run smaller than Sorels - my son had size 1 Sorels last year, so I bought him a size 3 of these and they look only a little bigger compared to his size one Sorels. But, he said they were comfortable and that he had room, so maybe that was just my visual and there is more room inside. He loves them!

Shoes fits great and it feels very warm. It should be good for my nephew who resides in Canada.

My daughter loves these boots and is hoping it snows soon.

Seems like a decent boot, just waiting to see if we get through this winter and the next to be sure. Our last "great" pair (different, cheaper brand) had holes in the soles before the end of the season, so we're hoping the North Face brand holds up. The boots don't come up as high on the leg as I thought they would, but paired with snow pants, it's not a big deal.
