I'm a 9 1/2 narrow - perfect fit right out of the box. My only complaint is the Navy color, which I ordered, was more of a dark gray with a purplish hue. I kept them and intend to have them dyed Navy. I went back and ordered two more pair and received one pair too small with a frayed strap and the other pair way too floppy. I'm glad I decided to keep the first pair. Zappo's agent was very kind and apologetic and gave me a gift towards my next purchase. Free shipping, no taxes, and an unexpected gift - Wow!

I really liked the style and they are certainly true to the width, but they run a half size too long. I always take a 9.5 -10 W. I ordered a 9.5 W and they kept slipping off of my ankle (I have small ankles). They are attractive and I would have tried a 9 but found some other shoes instead.

I have recently taken to buying a half size up because I am having such trouble with my feet - I am diabetic and I have to stand for 5 hours a day, and the pressure on my toes has recently become dreadful. I bought these shoes in my old size (8) and found they were perfect - in fact on my left foot which is a bit smaller they were a little loose. I wore these shoes the day after they arrived when I had an odd 8 hr shift, (although I did have a spare pair of worn-in shoes with me) but there was no pain on my toes or the ball of my foot whatsoever. I can't tell you how long it has been since I managed to get through my shift without limping at the end of it. I have ordered another pair in black. I don't think they are the best looking shoes to wear with a skirt, but at this point I don't even care what they look like when they feel so good!

These shoes are comfortable and look good for casual wear. The heel height is good and the toe area has a good amount of room. Comfortable for a senior citizen, but doesn't look like an "old grandma" shoe.

I really liked the style of the shoe, but the strap across the top of the foot cut into my foot making it very uncomfortable to wear. Also, the navy is very dark - to me it looked black.

Great quality shoe - the leather and stitching perfect. It felt comfortable, especially with the roomy toe box. Unfortunately, it was too large overall for me. I usually take an 11 wide but in this shoe it felt loose and my heel kept slipping out the back. All shoes sizes run so differently that it is a struggle to decide which size to order.

I love the style of these shoes. The navy is a true navy. The front part of the shoes fit my wide feet just fine, but the heel was much too wide. I think wide feet come in two varieties: naturally wide feet, and feet that have become wide over time. Thirty years and three kids ago, my feet were 7 and 1/2 B, now 9D. The front part of my foot had widened, but the heel has not. If your feet are wide because of aging, pregnancy or weight gain, shoes like this probably won't work for you.

Loved these shoes, and the size was as expected. But the sole did not come out, and did not give me enough arch support. If the sole had been removable to put in orthotics, they would have been perfect. If you have medium arches instead of high arches, these shoes may be perfect for you.

I've been wearing Clark's related style from the same line, the Ashland Lane Q, in a 10WW almost nonstop since fall and they are among the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. 10WW is my usual size across many brands. These, the Ashland Spin Q in a 10WW, have the same good width for me and don't rub anywhere, and they're really cute—a nice change for summer that are a bit dressier than my SAS sandals—but they're distinctly too long. My heel slips out of them and there's more than enough room in the toe. I tried adding insoles to snug everything up, but then I lost the needed depth in the forefoot. I'm going to try exchanging them for the 9.5WW and see if the forefoot width and depth are just as comfortable and the heel more secure.

I gave 4 stars because someone somewhere will like these shoes. For me, the wide was too narrow and the arch did not give support. Returning ;~ (

I pulled these out of the box and put them on. Perfect fit. As a teacher, I'm on my feet all day. I need well fitting shoes. I can nearly always count on Clark's.

I got a size 9EE at first and after two returns found that the size 8EE was the right fit for me.

Seems narrow to me. I've historically worn narrow widths, but even the medium is snug on my feet. Length is true to size.

Purchased for mom. Her feet are hard to fit due to hammertoes and bunions. An 8.5 wide did the trick on one foot. The shoe is slightly bigger on the other foot. Added foot liner to alleviate the difference. Mom said they feel great and comfortable to walk, so happy with purchase.

I purchase the Ashland Spin Q in pewter, which turned out to be more bronze than pewter, but that's ok. My main complaint with the shoes is that, despite buying a wide width, one strap is too tight. Strangely, Clarks decided to make one of the cross-straps adjustable with Velcro, but the other strap is a fixed length. I hope the fixed strap will stretch, because it wore a welt into the top of one foot the first day I wore the shoes. I've also had to add arch supports, because the style is very flat. The Spin Q is fine for wearing to my desk job, but I would not wear them on a day when I am going to be active.

Neutral color will go with many outfits. Shoe is casual, but can work with skirts, dresses as well as capris and slacks. Toe box is generous - plenty of room for my arthritic and hammer toes and bunion. Adjustable strap allows give for my high instep. The right shoe rubs my ankle a bit, but I think that will improve as I break them in. I will wear a bandaid to prevent a blister. I ordered my usual size - 9.5 W. Arch support is comfy. This is a quiet, comfortable walking shoe. I think it will be great for travel and walking tours. In true Zappos fashion, they agreed to give me a credit when this shoe went from $51 down to $40 between my order and receiving the shoe. Thank you!

I have narrow feet and these fit slightly wide in the narrow width. The toe box is large. The bronze is a versatile color and they look cute with pants. Very comfortable.

Love the shoe or I wouldn’t have come back for a second, the only complaint with these is the color. They are bronze not pewter, and this was disappointing. Other than that I love the shoes.

Assignment: Find shoes that will be comfortable and look decent when worn almost daily for four weeks of active touring/vacation in NYC and Europe. Accomplish this without having actually worn the shoes yet. Nearly impossible, right? Well, these are the least unattractive shoes I could find that seem sturdy, well made and comfortable enough for that kind of use and for my 58 year old feet that are a challenge after too many decades of being squished into high heeled business shoes. I'm optimistic that I've chosen well with the Clarks Ashland Spin Q, so am giving four stars. I hope to be able to raise it to five stars after the trip.

I loved these shoes, they were instantly comfortable and the width was perfect. The only problem I had was they were a tiny bit too short. I have a hard foot to fit as I am between an 11 narrow and an 11 1/2 narrow. They don't make 11 1/2 in any shoes and 12's are too big for me. I have to pick shoes that run just a tad long. The price was awesome as well. I was so sorry they didn't have my size.

While the size and fit felt true to the size I chose, after wearing about an hour, the right shoe became very uncomfortable and hurt my metatarsal area. I stopped wearing it and went back to my tried and true Birkenstocks and the pain stopped immediately. I tried the Clarks again the next day and again, the right shoe started to hurt in the metatarsal area. I really liked the color, the style and the fit and comfort of the shoe on my left foot was just perfect. Reluctantly, I had to return them because of the pain in the right foot. Otherwise, I would have kept these shoes. They have so much more style than my Birkenstocks. I had to mark that I returned them because they didn't fit as it was the closest category that applied to my situation. However, they DID fit and they are true to size. It was MY right foot that had a problem and nothing wrong with the fit of these shoes. They fit well, style is great and the color was wonderful. If they didn't hurt my right foot, they would never have been returned.

I THOUGHT THIS WAS THE RIGHT SIZE WHEN I TRIED ON BUT WHEN I WENT TO ACTUALLY WEAR THEM I LITERALLY WALKED RIGHT OUT OF SHOE. THE WIDTH WAS GOOD BUT HTE SIZE WAS HALF SIZE TOO BIG. I HAD ORDERED THE HALF SIZE SMALLER BUT THE WIDTH WAS ALSO SMALLER SO I RETURNED. SO NOW I HAVE TO RETURN THESE. MAYBE AN 8.5 REG WOULD WORK?
