Keen has changed its manufacturer. You can tell by the shoe sizes. They were always true to size. Now it is like a guessing game as to what the true size it.

BLOOD BLISTERS! This is my fifth pair of hiking shoes. This is the only pair that caused blood blisters on BOTH toes. Not sure what is up with the toe box but it's not right. Very sad, these are adorable but if you're going to be hiking (in particular descending) know that it didn't take long before I felt pain in my toes - caused by the fit of these shoes :(

Before ordering these, I checked on Keen’s website, as they give a fit estimate for each model. According to their site, this model runs 1/2 size small. The 11 fits perfectly. They are comfy for walking. My only complaint is that they don’t have elastic laces—I hate tie shoes. The photos don’t show that they tie, nor does the description.

LOVE this shoe!! Love my Keens! I agree that it's a little stiffer than the non waterproof version of this shoe (which by the way are TOTALLY AWESOME!!), but still a great shoe. Would recommend that you always buy the next half size up for hiking in order to prevent toe-jam and painful "blisters" as one other reviewer remarked on, although I find it hard to believe this would be the norm in any circumstance. Proper shoe fit and good hiking socks go a long way when hiking. I think the price is a little high, and a sale price would entice me to want to buy one in every color!

I was looking for waterproof shoe I could walk across the fields with my dogs, as well as in downpours and not end up with waterlogged feet. As another reviewer had mentioned about another similar Keen shoe, the Targhee II, (see the photo gallery of the Targhee II for the same issue on a different shoe) the quality control just isn't there. I haven't worn Keen, and I was excited to try them, but was really surprised to have them come with a defective front section. The right and the left shoes do not match. It is as if different people applied the front rubber (?) section, and one tried to apply it perpendicular at the centerline of the shoe, and, well, the other freestyled it. Thank goodness Zappos has free returns. As for comfort, it was not bad...a bit hard, but plenty of room in the toe box. But not what I had been expecting from Keen. I would have expected this from a lower-level manufacturer. I would have purchased these at 1/2 the price of this shoe, but for an expensive shoe, this shoe just didn't deliver the comfort or quality. I could never imagine hiking for hours in this shoe without adding cushioning. The shoe is a nice looking shoe...it did have that going for it. But I think I am going to end up with the Hoka One One Tor Summit WP. The Hoka are not pretty, and make my size 9 feet look like 11s, but there's a obvious quality to the shoe and superior comfort that the Keen shoes lacked.

I order Keen shoes a size up from my usual - women's 11 instead of 10. These shoes are incredibly comfortable and supportive. I bought them to wear when working with my dog in rough outdoor field conditions. I usually only by Wide width shoes because my feet are broad across the toes, but these are perfect even though they are B medium. They were comfortable from day one, no breaking in needed. The ankle is well supported and the foot bed is stable. I don't even want to take them off at the end of the day!

I wear a size 5 and these fit very good. They seem waterproof but I've only worn them 1 time in the snow. They are fairly comfortable. Laces don't stay tied so I may have to replace them. Otherwise they are a sturdy winter shoe

This shoe would be perfect if designers would cease with the pink/lavender accents!!!! PLEASE. I am not 12. I am a outdoor lady and shoe designers just do not understand their target audience.

These are comfortable for my feet that have high arches and a wide toe area. I was looking for a waterproof serious walker/hiker that I could wear with heavier socks in watery conditions. I usually wear a 6.5-7, so I ordered these in a 7.5 and they seem good with my wool socks. The insoles are not soft at all, but with my socks, they are okay. I have the non-waterpproof version Keen Oakridge for summer time, so I guess I should have gone straight to these for the winter! :)

These fit completely differently from the regular Oakridge. What a disappointment! :(

I wish these had worked for me! Keen is my go-to for quality, comfort, and durability. I was looking for a stable, waterproof shoe for lots of walking in the Northwest fall/winter. This shoe was one that had all of the attributes I was looking for and still was casual enough (as in didn't look specifically like a hiking boot) for everyday wear. As someone with flat feet and ankle issues, this shoe offered nice support. Unfortunately, as some other reviews had mentioned, this shoe does seem to run a little small. With a thin sock, it was a little tight, and with a thicker wool sock, it definitely would have been just a little too uncomfortable. I wish it were offered in a 12, because I know I would have loved these! Thank you, Zappos, for having unbeatable customer service so I could return these and try a different pair.

I ordered a bunch of similar boots and shoes fort hiking and these were actually pretty comfortable, however, I had already invested on another pair from the same company. Guess this company knows how to make shoes.

These were good looking hikers but the back of the shoe hit very high on my ankle was was quite uncomfortable.

This shoe was comfortable and had all the features I wanted. Unfortunately, it was very wide. Sometimes I wear narrows. It did not come in a narrow.

The arch support in this shoe is good its just that the shoe pronates and I cant where a shoe that does this. I am going to have to order something else.

It fit well, had a little more room than usual, so I added a thicker sock and it worked fine. Very comfortable, didn't even have to break them in.

rugged look,well constructed,well padded around ankle but felt stiff when walking.

Tight and short

Used to be I could wear Keens even though I have wide feet. But these shoes don't have the blunt, wide toe box that some Keen styles have and I had to send them back.

Nice Keen width but ran smaller than my other Keens. Pretty cool style but seemed like more of tennis shoe than hiker. They didn't wow me by any means so back they go. I love you Zappos! <3

I’ve bought this shoe before in this size and loved it. This time it was so tiny and narrow I couldn’t get it on :(
