I love these shoes! They are so cute and very well made. I normally wear a size 9.5, so I ordered a 10. The 10s were way too big and looked like clown shoes. I returned them and got the 9s, which fit perfectly. I think the ankle opening is a little bit too big, but I have small ankles. I'm keeping the 9s and love them.

LOVE the style and quality. Normally wear an 8.5 - 9 in shoes & boots, ordered both the 8 & 9 after reading previous comments. The 8 was too narrow & tight in width and the 9 was too large overall...REALLY needed the half size in between! So disappointed that I'll have to return.

I love my Freebirds, but these won't be a pair to join my collection. I really like that the zipper is on the side, rather than in the back like they normally do, but the buckles around the ankle just don't sit right; they make the top of the boot pucker funny. True to size, as always with this brand.

These boots are so cool! There is one thing however, that cheapens them. In between the buckles there is a braided hemp rope. WHAT? They should have kept it all leather.

Way too narrow and looked cheap.

These were not at all what I expected. The color is not as rich as depicted on the site. It is much closer to a soft tan, several shades lighter. The leather is soft and flexible, which makes the boot slightly difficult to put on as it doesn't really hold its shape around the ankle. The buckles and braided decoration are only tacked down at the zipper, so they flop around a bit and need to be managed. I don't think they would stay over the leather while walking. The arch felt like it wasn't quite in the right place, even though the shoe fit overall as well as I would expect from a whole-sizes-only shoe. Definitely wasn't happy, and I am returning
