Given this is a powerlifting shoe I did not mark the arch support because that's not the point.
All I do in the gym is barbell work. If I am going to do cardio I do it outdoors. So as soon as these arrived I used them. They are so much better than I thought they would be. My lifts feel a lot more solid than I would think with them.
I went ahead and attempted to set a PR at 250 on squat with these. I had no issues. Not wanting to just judge them by this lift I went over and did some deads and set a PR there as well at 345. I'm following stronglifts so none of this crossfit stuff. I've always wanted lifting shoes but did not want to spend 100 dollars to buy a pair, much less 200 for the nikes.
If you are like me and you want to lift for the pure benefits of lifting, these are the shoes to get. They are comfortable, the sole is firm, and really it does help with form. Overall I can't see spending and I'm considering purchasing another pair at this sales price just to have them for the long term. I can't see wearing them out with the little use I get out of them in 4 years, but then in 4 years I can't see getting them for less than 70 bucks either.
Bottom line. If you want a pair of lifting shoes for a 5x5 program or in general, this is the pair to get.

These shoes are incredibly narrow. My foot is slightly wide -- I almost always get normal D width shoes -- but I could barely get my foot into these and I tried 1 size up *and* 2 sizes up! Buyer beware.

Great shoes for lifting. Initially the toebox may feel a little snug but it will stretch after use. They cement you to the floor and offer great stability. If you think these are only for people who lack ankle mobility you'd be wrong.

I ordered this shoe in my usual size (12) and it is either too short or too narrow. So, unfortunately, I wasn't able to try it out in the gym so I am unable to comment on its performance there.

Unfortunately this shoe does not fit an extra wide foot. Bummer for my husband, width 4D, who was getting these for a gift.

I began lifting free weights again at age 58. A very informative book on strength training suggested that investing in a proper pair of weightlifting shoes is a very worthwhile purchase. I hesitated for 7 or 8 months but took the plunge on these. I am pleasantly surprised at what great shoes these are. My foot size is 14B, and these only come in a D width, so I was concerned about that, but they fit and feel fabulous. Highly recommended.

I'm new to weightlifting, and my nike gym shoes stretched too much. These give you a solid base when you're baring down in a heavy squat. One of the more experienced lifters at my gym mentioned she had them when she was starting out and they are great for beginner/intermediate lifting but she had upgraded to something better.

These shoes accomplish the simple goals of a decent Olympic lifting shoe without being overpriced. A solid, midfoot strap keeps you stabilized. The heel is solid throughout your lift. The heel height could stand to be a bit higher, but it does aid in ankle and hip-mobility even at this height. I have wide feet, and this is a narrow shoe, I'm guessing on purpose. That being said, it's not as if this shoe was meant to be worn for 12 hours.

These are my first powerlifting shoes so I don't have much to compare to other than my old all-purpose sneakers. For lifting these feel much more stable, and I feel like I use better form than with my old cross-trainers. I feel the difference most when doing squats and deadlifts, but I feel a slight change in form in all exercises. The fit of these is pretty long and just a little narrow. I'm not huge on the style either, but for half the price of other lifting shoes I don't really care.

Recently started CrossFit and needed a flat soled shoe to lift weights in. I found this on a whim and bought them. I have wide feet, so these fit a little tighter than I would like in the toe box area, but since i only ever wear these a little at a time, it's manageable. But if you do have wide feet, you'll never be able to wear these with thicker socks.

Started 5x5 weightlifting, so I needed a stable shoe that did not slip or roll.
These shoes fit as advertised (I normally order 10-E, but these were 10-D). A little narrow, but these shoes are for weight lifting - not strolling around.
The narrow size with the velcro strap enables a snug fit. My feet don't slide in the shoe.
My feet don't slip on the floors either with the flat, 'gripping' sole.
A firm sole also makes a big difference when squatting. However, I wish the heel was a little lower.
Overall - very happy.

I typically wear 10.5 2E Wide shoes, and shopping for weightlifting shoes was a challenge. These are "naturally" wide, so they're a great fit. I'm already enjoying doing my major lifts with these much more comfortably. My only complaint is a small one, that the combination of laces AND velcro made for some frustration in putting the shoes on and taking them off. I purchased a set of "Lock Laces" from Amazon for $7.99, replaced the string laces with ELASTIC laces, and these shoes are now flawless.

This is a well made shoe, but order 1/2 size up, and only if you have narrow feet.

These shoes are great for Crossfit and powerlifting. Needed a harder soled shoe and these were awesome. If you have wide feet, you should probably go up 1/2 size as the fit is a little narrow.
