I love these boots.....but.....they wear out too fast at the outer sole. It it too thin in the heel. I wear my boots out in the corners of the heel and these are way too thin to last. Timberland makes a boots with thickened outer sole in the heel, so why not these?????? They thickenes the sole in the front, but forgot the heel; thats a contract breaker for me.
Also, they are sewn to the sole. This means that on slopes or roofs, they lean quite a bit; no hard plastic side supports like Timberland Endurance has, or Keen Coburg have. They need some type of support at the heel so my ankle doesnt lean and worsen the wear on the thin outer sole. Non of the other bots with molded, glue-on soles wear out so fast, ever.
I love the feel, look, comfort of this boot, the rubber wear toe on top; and I buy boots that are $150 - $250 dollar boots. These can definintely be improved at least by thickening the last 2 inches of the heel's outer sole. Sorry Timberland, but I will not be buying these again.....unless you thicken the heel's outersole. And yes....I am willing to pay an extra $10 more for this thick sole.
I will not be buying these boots again unless they thicken the sole. And as for the ankle side supports, well i could live without them, but keep that wedge sole, its a life saver working up high on steel, rebar, or just trying to not collect mud on your soles.

I've owned 2 pairs of yimberland miner boots, loved them however the soles came off within 11 months. I switched to gridworks they do not compare the soles are so hard I had to buy inserts for them also the tread is very slippery. And as a mechanic the white base lasted 1 day.

Ive been in the field for more than 25 years and wouldn't recommend anything other than Timberland Pro's.
I've had these boots for nearly 2 years now. They look like clown boots with their steel toe technology. Only complaint is they do take a while to break in and would prefer a soft toe to help with comfort and to help the design not look so much like a clown boot.
As an HVAC Technician, I'm on my feet 12-14 everyday. It took months before these boots finally broke in and even after 12 hours, it feels nice to get them off. Very comfortable and the plastic toe covering is so nice to have when you've got to get into places that would normally ruin a pair of boots. They wipe down real nice after a long weeks work.
Please make this same boot in a soft toe. I'd buy two pairs just so they'd last me the next 4-5 years.

Very comfortable but these are the ugliest boots ever. I got them without seeing them in person, they're like clown shoes. But they're very comfortable.

Work industrial maintenance. Comfy boots are a must. I'll say that this is the first pair of tims I've ever had a complaint about. The left boot wears like a tennis shoe. The right boot has a heavy pressure spot
Just behind the toe box. No way I can continue to wear them 60 hours a week. My foot is sore
To the touch. I do believe this is an anomaly tho.

I have had the boots for about 2 months and the boots were uncomfortable at first but eventually they were broken in and that was no longer an issue. The alloy toe is not light at all, i go home sore like i did legs at the gym. Honestly my biggest complaint is the supposed "waterproofing" of the boot. Its a waterproof leather AND a waterproof membrane and yet i cannot be in BARELY an inch of water for an extended period of time or even a little bit of mud, or else my feet and socks will be COMPLETELY soaked. Honestly its incredible how bad they are at keeping water out, i might as well be wearing sneakers. If it wasnt for the horrendous waterproofing this boot would be solid and i would give it a 4 out of 5.

These boots are comfortable out of the box, but if you're looking for an Iron Work boot these are not for you. Any larger sparks or slag will burn right through the soles. The tonge isn't full leather so sparks are burning through the sides there too. 12 hours wearing these boots my feet are burned and the boots have holes in them. Other than that they are comfortable.

If there was a negative star I would be rating this negatively! I had purchased these timberland pro boots for work, paving, I heard these were the latest & greatest so I thought instead of buying the usual Red Wing boots i usually buy for work I would try timberland Pro. I even asked the woman in the store when before I bought them if these boots were okay for working and specifically paving as well, she assured me they would be just fine. So, I bought them, in June and just yesterday 07/13/18 they fell apart! The sole of the shoe just fell apart. I usually get about a year out of my work boot and these lasted about a month!

Buy these boots on holidays so I wore them when and a few hours later I had blisters on the back of my heels so I figured they needed a few days to break in but it's been a week now and I can barely get through the day before they start to hurt my feet so much where I have to take them off.. this is my firts pair of Timberlands boots within this pair is turning out to be very uncomfortable. I'm not sure what to do anymore besides get my money back and go with a whole different brand.... very disappointed!!
