These shoes are very comfortable for walking and light hiking. I haven't tested them out for long runs or mud races yet, but I think they would be moderately good for that as well. The color on the sole has chipped a little so the paint will come off, but they are still nice looking. It feels like walking on a nice cushion, but again they aren't for the hard core runner.

Not as good or as comfortable as earlier Lunarglide models, which I heard from others prior to purchasing, but the support is still there. Pretty comfortable, stylish and not very clunky like some supportive shoes can be. I've only worn these a few times so far but, although they don't compare to my last pair of Lunarglides, I don't have very many complaints. And since the other Lunarglide models are now out of production I will be keeping these.

I'd been wearing my amazing Mizunos for over 3 years and hundreds of miles...my shins were perpetually sore and it was time for a change!
I went to several stores unable to find the right match of comfort, support, and style. Then I found the Lunarglide 8s.
These shoes are so cute! I tried them on in the store and ended up going with the tried and true pair (and upgrade of the ones i already had, how original!) for running that offered more stability plus the color choices for these were boring in store. But I couldn't stop thinking of how cloud like they were!
Insert Zappos! Awesome colors available (I got the green and yellow ones!) and they have great cushioning. They are flat on the bottom which is actually perfect for my cardio dance classes as the traction I got with my last pair made it hard to pivot. I'll likely use the other pair for outdoor running and these for classes. And the best part is that my shin splints already seem to be healing...I didn't realize how unsupportive my last shoes had become! So happy to have found these. I did knock off a star because the arch feels a bit stiff and my foot is sore...I hope this dissipates as I wear the shoe but otherwise, I may have to return them which will make me so mad because I love them.
Sizing - I wear a 9 in most shoes but go 9.5-10 in running shoes. I've got a 10 in these and they fit great with good toe room. But they may run half a size small. It's also highly recommended that you size up on running shoes though so don't be scared off by that!

Again for pronators, good shoe, but not for excercising IMO: the ball of the foot to the toe has nor curvature and prolong walking or running will hurt the toes because they have to push against the floor. In fact walking around the house, I tripped because the landing of my feet was so flat and there is no flex area at the ball of the foot, and I never trip!

I usually pick Nike's because they maintain a snug fit. These are sized too wide. I cannot get the laces tight enough to make them feel like they fit securely. The toe box is large and almost floppy. Overall, the support and cushioning in this shoe seemed about right, but doesn't work for me with the sizing.

This shoe is narrower than previous Nike I have owned. Fabric tops offer no support and though the shoe is good "looking" the lack of a stiffer material in the uppers, its narrow feel through out is reason enough to return. The soles also looked as if they would be very slippery on anything wet. Had no attraction at all.

I am not that happy with this purchase. While I normally wear a 9.5 in Nike running shoes, these 9.5's are so large that I am tripping over my toes. I also have experienced the slipping on wet surfaces issue that others have mentioned. They have a comfortable feel, but the slipping issue is really concerning me.

I have used the Nike Lunarglides since they began making them. I over pronate so this was a good option for running. I am disappointed in the 8's. There is very little traction on the bottom. They feel smaller than previous versions as well. The sole feels cheep. Very Disappointed, Not in Zappos just the Nike's

I don't understand why Nike changed the Lunarglide 7, a truly amazing shoe, to the nightmare that is the Lunarglide 8. These change my stride so much that I am in pain after every run. Really disappointed.

I have many of the Lunarglide 7 model. This newest model is slippery on the bottom. Great fit until you wear them outside. Toe color came off and it looked worn immediately. Great heal support. SLIPPERY!!!
Greatest news...Zappos refunded my money. ! Awesome!!!

Lunarglide 7 was great for me but Lunarglide 8 fits differently. The padding isn't as well-suited for overpronation as the 7s were. One pro is that these are lightweight so if you don't have a problem with overpronation, these might be fine for you. I'll be returning these.
