I ordered about 8 pairs of shoes trying to find a comfy, warm pair for winter, and these were the immediate winners the second I put them on my feet. I just love them! They're stylish (I actually got a couple compliments, and I never get shoe compliments!), and for someone like me with very wide calves/ankles, these were great because the laces are adjustable and then you can just use the zipper on the side. In other words, if these were a straight zip (I did order a couple of those too), they would have been tight, but if you're a plus-size gal with very thick legs like mine, you will love these. I got them in an 11W. I would say that I usually wear a 10W but in several Clarks I need to size up a little. The 11s are very roomy for me but because of the laces and high ankles, they don't feel too big, and I can wear warm winter socks. No comment yet about how they do in snow/ice, since we haven't had any yet. But I will say that my feet never feel cold in them, even standing at the bus stop, in zero-degree weather. Highly recommend overall :)

What heavenly soles! I ordered 8-10 ankle boots of various styles on Zappos. My feet are wide and I have a neuroma, making it very hard to find a combination of style and comfort. These were a home run out of the box! I am generally a 9W and they fit perfectly. As I wore them around the house, I actually forgot I had shoes on. The leather is soft and supple and they are funky with jeans, cords or even a dress with leggings. Very happy with purchase. My biggest problem was which color to get! I got the dark brown but was very tempted by the maroon too...

I've looked long and hard for a boot that is comfortable, and looks good for everyday use. I have high arches and most boots just don't feel good. The Whistle Bea felt good right off the bat. I added a little bit of extra arch support with an insert, and now my feet are happy as can be. And it looks cute for daily life, while being professional enough to wear to work too. I love the size zipper making it easy to get on and off without having to untie. I hope they hold up to daily wear until Spring, because I'm going to be wearing them every day.

So hard to find "my" kind of boots....already have snow boots....already have rain shoes/boots....hate heels....hate pointy toes....love comfort.....have plantar fasciitis....love casual.....but like to be able to wear them to work.....and with jeans......didn't want suede....did want leather.....like to wear normal to slightly thicker socks with my boots.....didn't want to spend over $100 if I could get all of the above...and wanted at least a few other reviewers who rated the boots well. If this sounds like you, I got my size 11M today and I love them -- will be wearing to the office tomorrow! I'm typically an 11M or a 10.5M (for the rare times I can find it) but when I also saw Wides listed for this, I tried to order both an 11M & 11W to compare (since I also like thicker but not crazy thick socks with my boots) and the 11W wasn't available so I chanced the 11M. They were comfy right out of the box. I'd still have loved to compare a wide so I could wear different socks but with the W not available and with these having successfully "checked off" all of my other "boxes" above, I'm keeping them and am happy. I have these shoes in all three colors. They are a nice casual shoe boot that can be worn with pants or leggings. I have narrow feet and with a light or heavier sock they're great. As a teacher, have worn them all day and been on my feet and they are very comfortable. If you're looking for a lot of support however, I would say they aren't for you.

The boots feel sturdy and well-made, and the zipper makes the on/off VERY easy. I typically wear a 6 1/2 - 7 Wide (or even extra wide) and ordered a 7 Wide, hoping for room for socks. The fit is great, the sole is cushy. Not a lot of arch support, but the sole is accommodating enough that I really didn't have an issue with it. The burgundy is more of a red-brown than a red, but it is a pretty color nonetheless. Wore them all day w/no break in and my feet were still happy in the evening.

As an internet consumer, I highly rely on reviews to determine if a product is quality. Well, this boot is pretty much as great as what everyone else is saying. My only tweak is that they have decent arch support, not as fantastic as what some reviews are saying. They are pretty great needless to say. My only complaint is they look a little too plastic-y fresh out of the box. I assume they will break in and look a little more rugged with time. I also hope they will stand up to wintery weather as right now it's been pretty mild in Chicago.

This works for a soccer injury! I can wear a light brace or not - depending on how long I am going to walk. I really like the color and the quality of construction. One detail - the "loop" on the back is not big enough to actually use. Can't get my finger through it. I recommend these.

I love these shoes! I wanted a pair that looked good with leggings, would keep my feet dry (I am outside a lot at work), and would offer me more support for my bad back than a pair of flats. These shoes are great at all three! My husband calls them my "witchy boots" - he says they look like something the ladies from Hocus Pocus would wear (in a good way!) and I have to agree. I have never spent so much money on shoes before (except for snow boots) because I am a very frugal person but I was tired of soggy feet and being in pain all the time, and I am so glad I gave in and spent the money on these.

This boot looks great, and I've ordered before in a different color, but this just didn't work for me. It's regrettable because the style and construction are very nice indeed. But if they don't fit (and they don't) back they go.

I LOVE these boots! I love Clarks because they make size 12 and are comfortable for working in all day. These went through snow, slush, mud, and cleaned off well. They did not slip on ice. They are lightly insulated but wouldn't be good in negative 40. I would totally recommend these boots.

VERY comfortable! I find myself wearing these all the time! My one complaint is that I purchased the "Grey Combination" and they're really a navy color. This means they do NOT really go with either my grey pants, or my black, like I'd expected.

These shoes are very comfortable. Having both the lace up and side zipper makes this bootie easy to get on and adjust for a great fit. The heel does not slip like in other boots and they have a nice toe box area.

I love these boots. I have wider feet and sometimes have issues on finding boots that both look good and fit. I highly recommend these, especially for women with wider feet.

I have wide feet and these fit great. I haven't worn them for a long time, just around the house because of feet but I'm ready to. They feel very good

Love my new boots. New to the online buying of shoes too! All round great experience so far. These boots for very comfortabley and I wore them all day the first day on with no problems. Love how you can zip and tie to make a very easy process of putting on and off also allowing for the ability to tighten or slacken if need be. All round good experience and considering I put a wrong number in my mailing address which caused delivery problems....rectified by a phone call an easy no hassle process. Love how I could track my order too.

Very comfortable low boots. The rounded toes feel great! I wear a 7N and the boots are true to size. The dark grey combo is very versatile and a nice change from black. A winner!

Needed a great pair of shoes for great support for work and ordered these. They have been great and my feet feel so much better from their overall support on my feet.

Love these boots. Bought them right before a trip to the UK in December, and had no trouble wearing them right out of the box (never happens for me). Have happily worn them all through the slushy and cold NYC winter, no complaints. The toe box is wide enough to be comfortable without looking like a clown shoe. So pleased with this purchase!

This is a fantastic pair of boots! The toe box is roomy in the W and they required no break in time. I love the dual lace-up and zipper festure, and the navy blue is subtle and goes with everything.

I've had these boots since the fall and finally decided to write a review. They are right up there with the most comfortable boots I have ever owned. They are very warm, have a comfortable heel heights and I love the adjustability of the laces along with the convenience of the zip. I purchase the brown leather and they have been a staple of mine all winter long so far. The plaid top isn't really noticeable under my straight leg jeans. I also wear them with leggings and again, the plaid isn't that noticeable. It blends in nicely with the boot. This was the only thing I was concerned about when I purchased them, but the benefits outweigh any hesitation I had about them. They were very comfortable right from the box and they seem to be versatile enough to go casual or dressy casual. I love wearing them, in fact, I have them on now.

Finally found the boots for me! I find that I have a hard time finding shoes I love and that feel good too. I took a chance on these and got a winner. Fit my wide foot with no sore spots. Can where all day while running errands.

I love these boots! I am picky about my shoes and these are very comfortable, I can walk a long time in them with no problem. The first pair I ordered fit perfectly.

These fit very well and are comfortable. They look great with leggings and jeans, flannel shirts or a dressier top.
