very pleased with these shoes. I have been having some trouble with my feet with a bout of plantar fascitis last year and a broken ankle this summer. These shoes have been very comfortable and good toe room. I put in my Protalus inserts and have been very happy.

I couldn't believe these are Merrells. They are very cute and stylish, but minimalist so I can wear them with anything. Love these. Went down a half size.

OH, I truly like these but they just won't work for my trip to Africa. I need to return them but I am doing so reluctantly

These were great right out of the box. I am used to wearing very supportive shoes, like Wolky or Alegria. Lately, I have started wearing minimalist Merrills for the gym, and found them great for everyday. I wanted something like the gym shoes for running errands and working in (moving around on concrete for 8 hours). These were a bit stiff in the heel area at first, but I quickly got used to them. I thought I would only wear them for an hour or two, then change into the sneakers.These made it the whole day, and the feet, legs and hips all felt great! I'll think about the black or blue, as well!!

liked this shoe but it was too big. About a full size larger. I am an 11 or about 42.5 in Euro size.

Comfortable shoe, but not sure how Merrill is doing their sizing, because this shoe is one full size larger than it should be. Have worn a 10 or 10.5 since I was in high school. Ordered at 10.5 and the shoe was so large I thought I might have ordered a men's shoe by accident. Order a full size smaller than you usually wear and you will be fine

I love the style from the site photos, but once I got them on, the toe is a bit rounder than I thought. It looks *slightly* like a clown shoe. Not enough for me to send them back, though. They are comfortable, although the tongue rubs against the front of my ankle a bit. I wear them with high socks.

Wanted to love these - they're nice in person, comfy, very cool sole that won't drag mud around between grooves - but they're SUPER wide around the ball of the foot & toe bed. I have a "normal" foot - have never needed a narrow (or wide) shoe. For certain feet, though, they'll be just right!

I like the style and the footbed felt comfortable but the tongue was really stiff and dug straight into the front of my ankle. I'm sure it would soften over time but maybe never enough and that part was really way too uncomfortable to wear long enough to break in.

These chukkas are perfect for work and weekends. Their casual style is great for jeans or cords. They are more of a minimalist boot, not great support, but the lend themselves well to comfort. No breaking in period needed. They are a tiny bit wide for my narrowish foot but that does not take away from their style or comfort.

Lots to like about this shoe but returned it because of intrusive arch support. Insole is removable, a plus IMHO.

Too narrow around toes and I don't really have wide toe area. Pretty looking but I won't be able to wear it. I wore it for 15 minutes and my foot hurt from the sides and so I returned it.

These shoes make my feet look really small! Oh and you have to order then one full size smaller than usual, since they run large. (So I'm a 7, but I needed to order a 6.) They're also kind of plain looking. The molded cork footbed was comfortable, but the shoe ends up feeling kind of tight and constricting. I blame the weird sizing.

I had been looking for a grayish chukka for awhile and was excited when I found this. The left shoe was perfect, cute and comfortable. The right shoe had the tongue cut on the grain of the leather differently and it cut into my right ankle and didn't give at all. I had to return because I couldn't walk across the room without pain in this shoe. I would have exchanged and tried another pair but no more were available.

I usually love Merrells, but this boot lacks the cushioning and support I'm used to from the brand. It's cute, and the color is fantastic, but It just doesn't feel sturdy and comfortable. Back it goes.
