I have worn these shoes for many years as I love the style, comfort and look. However, the recent order tells me that they must be manufactured differently. I normally wear 9.5 and this size they was way too tight and uncomfortable. So, I re-ordered them and go a half size bigger to size 10. The size 10 were too big as they looked like duck feet. Apparently there is no middle group here and I had to return both pairs.

I agree with the comment about the back of the shoe digging in at just the wrong place. They look as cool as always, but no so comfortable.

The new ones are *very* uncomfortable. I have been wearing suede One Stars for about 20 years, but something about this new version is painful and causing blisters on the back of my ankle tendons. The very center back of the shoes are a bit higher now, which is hitting the tendon in a bad place, and blistering.
It's a bummer, because One Stars have really become part of my style, and this update in cut/fit won't work for me at all. *Please* revert to the old, lower heel version! :-(

I've worn one stars forever so I had to get these. My last pair was the canvas Target one stars - they actually lasted quite awhile and they were only $20! anyway, these took a LONG time to break in! Now, I love them. I agree with the other reviews concerning the back of the shoe rubbing your heel and tendon at just the wrong place. I spent A LOT of time lacing and re-lacing these to make the fit right. Took months and tons of trial and error but, now I have no problems. They look great! I wear them all the time now. My teen aged daughter thinks they look cool......that's worth $70 right there!
