I’ve worn Clarks for a few years and I’m comfortable with their sizing and width. I bought these primarily for work to wear with skirts. Wearing them for a full day for the first time wasn’t a good idea. They felt tight across the top of my foot right above my toes all day. Hopefully during wear number two they’ll feel looser.

Beautifully made shoe, evident quality. Loved the soft rubberized sole and heel. However ive been wearing a 9W for quite a while. These 9's were reallly long. There was almost 3/4 inch of space behind my heel. The width - i wear Wide- felt fine but they were just long. Interestingly, the shoe did not flap about , it must have good coverage over the top of the foot. They were just a tiny bit loose in the heel but not flapping off my foot. They looked so odd though with the obvious space,even my DH noticed " hey those are too long for you in theback" i decided they had to go back.

1/2 size too big. I'm not used to that with Clarks! But I still love Clarks and Zappos of course.

Great looking shoe, just cuts into the bone on the front of my foot. Too bad, I liked these.

At last, a closed-toe shoe that fits my wide foot. I have been looking for one for YEARS. Wasted $160+ on a pair that is wide enough but so long I really doubt I can wear them. What a relief. I wanted to have something that would be formal enough for a wedding or possibly a funeral. These are a little sparkly for a funeral, but they are perfect for a wedding. They are fine for any other use.

It's very hard to get a WW that truly is a WW. This one comes close. The suede is soft and forgiving, the sole is soft and padded, and the squared toe insures a better fit as well. I send back half the WW's I buy from Zappos because the sizing isn't consistent but this one is a winner.

Beautiful shoe, perfect deep red suede, comfy sole - but the top line just doesn't work with the top of my foot, unfortunately. This isn't the fault of the shoe, but of my frankenfeet.

I own several pairs of Clarks in regular width and they fit great, but for this pair, I needed a wide (10W). They are a good fit, maybe a bit wide, but the regular are entirely too narrow, so I opted for the wider. The color is stunning! I wanted a classic pop of color for my mostly black and grey wardrobe and these did the trick. The red suede did rub off on my footy socks, but did not rub off on my skin. All in all, a fun flat.

Great shoe- I had to have one stretched ; tight due to a bone issue. Needed a flat that was as dressy as a flat gets. The metallic worked nicely with my outfit. I probate and Clark's work well. I could not wear these all day, but I have feet issues. Love, love Zappos's service.

I ordered 7.5 extra wide and they were so tight across the top of my foot couldn't come close to wearing them. They are such a cute shoe so I am disappointed.

I really wanted this shoe! But an 11 wide was too big and a 10-1/2 isn’t available??

I really like how these look, but unfortunately need to return due to fit. As others have mentioned, the heel is very wide on this cut. When I first put them on and felt the toe, I thought I might need to go up half a size as it was a bit snug, but once fully on, it only took a couple steps to know my heel was slipping out. Too bad about the fit, they are so cute! Note this is specific to Clark's, I do not have this issue with other brands.

Very cute shoe, however, it rubs on my big toe. The toe box is too small. I am unable to wear them.

This is a very attractive ballet flat, but I just couldn't get the sizing to work. Tried a 7 1/2M (my usual size), but it was too narrow. So I ordered a 7 1/2W which was too long. The 7W slipped in the heel. In addition, all three sizes pressed down uncomfortably in back of my toes.

The top edge of the shoe hit across my bunion, so it is not the shoe for me. The shoe looks long on my foot, but probably because I'm used to more of a rounded toe box.

These shoes just didn't work for me. They cut across my big toe joint and caused pain after just a few minutes. I also didn't like the shiny patent leather. Otherwise these shoes are well constructed, as are all Clarks shoes. Ballet flats usually do not have much support, but I can wear them out to dinner or church when I'm not going to be doing a lot of standing.

I read the comments on this shoe before ordering and ordered a size smaller; however, it still fell off my heel. Sadly, I have to return. The shoe is cute and comfortable but runs very large and the heel is not secure.

This is a very pretty shoe. I loved the style, and the colors were gorgeous. I ordered my usual 7.5 narrow, and the toe area was fine, but the heels fell off as I walked. They weren't just loose, they fell off my foot! I wish manufactures would realize that someone with a narrow foot probably also needs a narrow heel. I find this problem in a lot of shoes. These were returned.

Loved the look of the shoe. I ordered a wide, but I had to return the shoe because way too narrow across the top.

These are so cute but so very long. Otherwise would have been perfect. Have to send back because they will not stay on my feet.

PART 2 REVIEW... Got the exchanged pair.. went down a half size... now the second problem my foot slips out of the heel. Also the large bone (bunion area) on the top of my feet were being rubbed... I love these shoes so much.I took them to a local shoe repair man.. who is a SHOE EXPERT... He said I can tell the design is wrong.. See how big the heel area... Also feel this he showed me the tops of the shoes..... he said this is whats rubbing.. He said they just don't make good shoes anymore... unless you pay big money.... he said buy some dr.schols heel cushions... and I put them in the shoe... foot still slips not as bad and makes a terrible noise... I GIVE UP I HAVE TO RETURN THE SHOE>>> so bummed as I love the style... Classic.... good foot cushion if you can get them to fit... Good luck !

Although I ordered a narrow, the heel had a half inch gap in the back. I love the look of the shoe (I ordered the red and it was a gorgeous color!) and it felt comfortable, but it is very very wide and I will have to ship it back. Disappointed!

Really disappoint in this shoe. I haven't worn it long but the metal clips at the end of the bows have scratched the shoe. I can see lines where the tiny screw at the bottom has worn marks into the leather. Not what I would have expected.
