I ordered this Sorel style, as well as the Sorel Out N' About Tall. This boot has some type of plastic form that gives shape to the toe. Unfortunately this feature is why I had to return them. I have bunions, and the rigidity of the entire toe box was painful. I'm sure someone without bunions would have no issue. Cute style, though! I did think the faux fur looked sparse and cheap.

Very cute and stylish boots. I loved the style and pit moss color. However, I decided to return because I was concerned that they will not be waterproof. The tongue is not very wide and snow will likely get inside the boot.

LUVIN' the oh sooo Cozy Cate!!!
***Suzanne's review pretty much nails it!*** I have worn these CC's in Peatmoss w/a variety of socks, as well as outfits! So much that I just ordered them in Blk. ! ***Angie's review I'm glad did mention the gap where about 4" up the tongue of the boot separates from the sides.*** There's a slight concern for when when I finally get caught out in a severe downpour or 3"-4" of snow. The one benefit for myself about that tongue separation is the ease of slipping them on & off. Depending on the Ticness (lol - My Cousin Vinny fans) I don't even mess with the laces! Awesome timesaver for an On The Go Gal!
Look for an update - Pray for Positive! Lol

These boots are really cute. They are lightweight and seem like good quality. I had to return them though. I felt they were narrow. They have a small toe box.

Love the fact that these boots are light weight and have a slimming, tailored fit. Much nicer silhouette than the clunkier boots.

These are so cute! I've been searching for boots that don't make my size 11 feet look enormous. All of the other rubber snow boots (like the Joan of Arctic) are so bulky. These are sleek and slim fitting. I ordered a size 12 so I would have room for thicker socks, but there isn't much room for that. I feel like they fit just a tick on the small size.
They are described as waterproof (I haven't tested that yet) but where the tongue of the boot attaches to the sides of the boot there is a gap, so I'm not sure my feet would stay totally dry in snow that was deeper than about 4 inches. I definitely won't be wearing them to shovel the driveway in our Colorado winters, but will FOR SURE be wearing them to the hockey rink to watch my kids play!

These fit beautifully and are comfy to walk in. However, after wearing only about 15 times, one of the eyes that the leaves go through snapped. Now these are unwearable. What a waste of money!

These are very cute boots. However, I have a 15.5 inch calf, and these boots barely covered the tongue when I laced them. Not such an issue except that the tongue is only attached to the top of the ankle! Not in my snow boots! I could see so much possibility for snow to enter these boots, so they went back. They felt rather thin and I couldn't imagine them being warm AT ALL.

Most other reviewers are saying that this boot seems true to size. I wear a size 10 and ordered a 10 & a 10 1/2. The 10 1/2 arrived first and it is very tight! With a thinner sock than I would be wearing in a boot I can barely get it on. So, my experience is that the boot I have is a whole size too small. I like the low heel and non itchy materials. However the long lacing might be a bit difficult if the laces are wet. And the fabric (although it says "waterproof") seems somewhat flimsy for this price level of boot.

I have bought and loved many pairs of Sorels to get me through winters in the Northeast but these were disappointing. They run small and are too flimsy for winter. Super cute, though. Too bad!

this is a very comfortable boot to wear anytime. However, i needed it to really be waterproof. moisture came through when just standing on sloppy wet grass. warmth was ok. so my search continues for a warm, waterproof boot that is somewhat attractive. btw, zappos was terrific about credit. I'm a fan.

Super cute and stylish, but they are going back for return. I wear a perfect 5, but these are slightly large, even with a heavier sock. I prefer to wear a lightweight sock. Poor arch support, even if I lace them up tightly. Also, you cannot just slip these on quickly and be on your way; have to take the time to lace them up and tie them securely.

I purchased these thinking "winter in chicago + trip to Iceland" but they are more of an Autumn Boot- about as light as a pair of sneakers. I loved the style;but, don't see them standing up to slush and slippery ice/snow the way the other Sorel boots do.
The styling is 10/10, especially love the laces.
I am a size 10 / Normal Width, and I found the boot to be narrow and tight across the toes. I ordered a size 10.5, and the boot JUST fit- don't think I'd be able to wear thick socks.
Probably a good boot for looking good- for tactical wintry hiking, not a chance

Two words: FROZEN TOES! I just went out in our Colorado snow and in less than a minute, my toes were frozen in these. It was 19 degrees out, which isn't even close to how cold it gets here. And, I had on new thick Smartwool socks! The top of these has ZERO lining for warmth, so it feels like you have arctic air conditioning on your toes the minute you step outside. They literally get cold on the spot. I'm SO disappointed as I expected more from this brand. They are SUPER CUTE and stylish, so if you live somewhere that doesn't get snow and you want that "snow boot" look, these are for you. But don't pack them on your ski trip because you will regret it!!!
