Size is spot on. Bought these for the winter walking. Wearing regular socks with them. No need to wear thicker because they are so warm and comfortable.

Purchased Aurora G Ice+ Waterproof online due to the Vibram sole - the rubber is a type which they told me does not slide on ice. Not 100% but definitely far far better than anything else I've ever worn. Also happy to own another pair of Merrells - always comfortable and good support. And look nice too. Currently trekking 5 km over steep ground to get to town in snow and ice and these boots are really making the difference. Very happy with my new boots!

Although different to what I expected. I am very happy with them. I was not expecting the fluffylin8ng but it is very comfortable. I expect to wear them on the winter and I am sure they will live up tp walking on snow and ice.

I haven't tried the ice technology because I just got these this spring. But they are stylish, fit is great, so I can't wait for winter!

This is a nice looking, comfortable boot. I like that the boots are warm and waterproof! Sizing is right on. And they are well made.

I'm a Docent at Donner Memorial State Park in Truckee California. Everyone has heard of the Donner Party and all the snow get! These boots are so comfortable! I just love them!

I have been looking for a while. These boots were a perfect fit when I ordered 1/2 size larger. Cute in a technical way. The perfect apres- ski boot. Warm dry comfortable. Highly recommended. Also light weight enough to pack decently.

What attracted me was the claim that these boots gripped ice better than others. We are in Michigan and even in late winter we still get lots of snow and ice, making dog walks in the dark on icy sidewalks particularly unpleasant and hair-raising at times. I've worn these for about 6 walks now and though they have not been rigorously tested by all the kinds of ice we get, I feel good about the way they feel on the ground. They are a little stiff still but softening, making them easier to tighten. The soft padding at the ankle is a nice plus for stiff-ish boots. They are very warm. Overall, I'm liking them better than the competitor pair I just wore out.

I gave these to my 87 year old mother for Christmas and she said it was the best gift I ever gave her! She loves them and has been telling all her friends how awesome they are.

I love these boots! I feel steady on my feet and they don't slide off wet car pedals. They run a little small - which is actually one of the reasons I bought them - I wear a size 4.5, so w/a winter-weight sock, these fit perfectly.

These boots have been terrific for a very snowy and icy winter. The soles seem to grip better than any other product I have tried. Very comfortable and warm, easy to walk in and use while driving. True to size as other Merrell products I have ordered.

My driveway is full of ice I can now walk safely, the boots are great I no longer slip and slide. They fit true to size.

These boots are so comfortable. They also look good. They do slide on ice. The ads show great grip, but there were a few times I slipped and almost fell. Unless there are actual spikes on the bottom of a shoe caution is always a must. I recommend these to anyone.

These boots are slightly wider than typical sizing but they are comfy, warm, great on icy sidewalks, waterproof and SO CUTE (in white).

We live in the Northeast and where winter alternates between snow, slush, and ice. So far, these boots have saved me from falling in the driveway and on sidewalks in town. They really do grip well. They're also very warm and comfortable. I sometimes wear a 6.5 in boots, but the 6 in these fits fine. My husband likes his pair as well. He got his usual size.

These boots are warm, good on ice, waterproof, comfy and the bonus is they look great with all my winter gear I bought the Ash color, they are versatile and I really enjoy wearing them!

Warm, comfortable, and good traction on the ice

I live in Minnesota. We have been having a wicked winter. Extremely cold this year, with lots of snow and ice. I purchased these because of the advertised Vibram soles. I'm in my mid 50's and starting to become more aware of my footing underneath me in snowy and icy conditions. I have almost "wiped out" a few times in my previous boots and wanted to give these a try. OH MY GOSH....NOTHING BUT A BIG HUGE DIFFERENCE with these boots! Firm, sure footing. And I've even worn them out on ice rinks! Not to mention they are super cute! I wear them with wool socks, and my feet stay warm. Needless to say, the old boots went into the TRASH.
