I took my new boots for a 3 mile walk and I was very impressed. These boots are cute and kept my feet warm and dry. Can't wait to try them in the snow. I was looking for a hiking / snow boot and these boots fit the bill. They are not clunky or heavy like usual snow boots. My arch felt very supported. I usually wear a 9 but I purchased a 9.5 to allow for heavy winter socks. They fit perfectly. I have a narrow foot and usually have problems with my heal slipping but not with these boots.

Fantastic snow boot! Ordered maybe 15 different boots to try, this is the winner. Great support, great warmth and insulation. And looks great too. I typically have trouble finding a comfortable shoe over the top of my foot, this one works. Been walking, snowshoeing, snowmobiling for days in Whistler and my feet are cozy and happy!

So happy these came in a 10 1/2 -- hard to find that size and they fit perfectly with really good arch support. Very comfortable boots, easy on and off, not too heavy. Great that they're waterproof. Got the black with some purple, and I like the black and gray design in the back top of the boot. Think they're kind of cute for a good winter boot and will go with everything.

Look no further for an excellent winter waterproof boot. So comfortable right out of the box. The first wear I did a 4 mile walk and I have not one complaint. As with all Ahnu shoes, comfort is leagues above the competitors. Quality is excellent. It was a 40 degree day and my feet were toasty warm without being sweaty. Already can tell these will be my go to snow and cold day winter boot!

This boot fit me great! It is lightweight, comfortable and warm. The grip it gives with the Vibram sole is outstanding! I would highly recommend this boot.

These were really cute and comfortable on my feet. I did size up 1/2 a size and they fit perfectly with thick socks--slightly narrow but not uncomfortable. I am planning an upcoming trip to Iceland and based on some other reviews about them not being that warm and the uppers possibly not being waterproof. Also, I know nothing about this brand or the long-term quality of their products, not a huge deal but I don't want to find out whilst on vacation and can do nothing about it. I sent them back and kept the Vasque Coldspark Ultra Dry--they fit me the best and were the most comfortable.

These boots are pretty incredible! Sizing - I normally wear a 10 and have a wider foot: I ordered a 10.5 and they fit perfectly with a pair of thick hiking socks. There is also strong footbed support that makes walking and hiking longer distances more comfortable. It was 15-20* in Chicago this week, and the boots kept my feet warm, even being outside for 2+ hour ax They are lighter than the Sorel Tivolis I bought earlier in the season, and offer more support overall. Love!!

I bought these for a trip to Washington state in December and they worked out great. Kept my feet warm and dry, and comfortable when worn with thick socks. I probably couldn't wear them for long hikes because of all my foot issues but they might be ok for someone who needs less support. I normally wear a size 8 1/2 in athletic shoes but the front of the foot area runs small so I got a size 9.

I love my Ahnu sugarpine boots and was excited about these slightly taller and more waterproof boots. Overall I love them--the comfort and how they look. My only complaint is that they don't have a lace hook at the top, like the one on the sugarpines. That tiny hook makes it much easier to keep them laced tightly, which I need. I usually wear a 7 (in Merrells for example) on my somewhat narrow feet and the 7.5 in Ahnu fits perfectly. I prefer minimalist shoes with barely anything between my foot and the ground but some problems in my ankles now require me to wear a boot with a pretty stiff and well-fitted upper to hold everything in place--I like the Ahnu boots because the sole tends to be a little thinner and more flexible than most, making it less clunky and me feel more agile and less likely to roll my ankles because the soles are so thick.

I researched a lot of different boots that would work well in the snow and after choosing the Ahnu Sugar Peak, I am very happy with my decision! The shoes are comfortable, stylish, and most importantly, keep my feet warm and dry in the snow. I was in Tahoe after a huge snow storm and there was tons of powder so my feet would completely sink when playing around in the snow. The boots held up great and my feet were completely dry. I think these boots would also work well when hiking--a very versatile shoe for sure! I am usually a 7.5/8 and decided to go with a 8.5 knowing I'd where thicker socks with these. 8.5 felt true to size.

Ahhhhhhhhnu! Comfortable, roomy in toe box where I need it - both in width & height, great arch support - a must. Nice slim styled, lightweight boot. Nice color choices. Textile area at back of ankle is soft & pliable, making walking more comfortable.

I just received these boots and am very happy! I ordered a half size larger than usual to accommodate thick socks. Already have them on and already really like them!

These aren't what I was expecting. They are classified under snow boots and they appear waterproof, but I need something that had a warmth rating and I couldn't find one for these. I love my other Ahnu's but for snow boots I am having to go with other tried and true.

Warm and comfortable right out of the box. So far I have worn these for walking 2 to 4 miles at a brisk pace on streets and trails with snow and slush at temperatures from just above 0 to 40 degrees. Plan to take them on more rigorous hikes, but so far so good.

These are cute but for the price I want more of a true hiking boot. The front/top part of the boot feels a bit too stiff for my wide feet and I don't think the cloth along the back of the boot would keep my feet dry.

I live in a warm climate and my rain and snow boots have deteriorated over the years, which was fine as long as I am home. But soon I will soon be making a trip into snow and rain and wanted to have some good shoes for doing a lot of walking. I have not heard of the Ahnu brand but took a chance and I love these boots! I've been wearing them around town and they fit well, provide good arch support (something I need) and the tongue has a lot of give so my shins don't hurt. I'll be going on my trip soon so we'll see how it holds up in rain and snow.

I love this boot! I haven't tested it yet in snow and cold but it seems like it should hold up well. I was excited to find a boot that looks sturdy but still nice on my foot. I hate when I try on winter boots and they make my foot look giant - this boot didn't do that. I was very excited to find these.

I was very impressed by the amount of arch support in these boots. Having suffered with plantar fasciitis in the past, I was looking for a hiking boot that would give me the support I need, and this boot fills the bill! It was quite comfortable from the first moment I put it on.

Brought these boots to a trip to Iceland, and they didn't disappoint! They are very comfortable for long walks/hikes and are waterproof. They are as warm as I thought they would be- after an hour outside waiting for the northern lights, my toes were uncomfortably cold. But as long as I was moving, my feet generally stayed warm.

I bought two pairs of these. The first pair was great ..good toe room. Warm not bulky looking likes Keens. However the second pair must've come from a different factory because they were sloppily made. I noticed one other reviewer commented on the toungue jabbing into her ankle. I think this company needs to work on quality control. As it is the second pair of Ahnu's That mismatch in quality. If you are lucky enough to get a good pair of these that is great but I think it is worthwhile sending the defective/sloppy pair back in hopes of getting a good pair of them next time.

I've been trying to find a boot that is warm and works in both rain and snow but these didn't work for me. I have a wide foot with bunions so I decided to get a size 8 instead of my normal size 7 1/2 in most shoes. I have 2 other pairs of Ahnus in size 7: the mesh pair fits great but the leather pair is a bit tight in the width. These boots fit ok but were still not as wide as I would have liked. This is possibly the reason why my feet felt cold in them from the start. They did have very good arch support for my foot but I am returning them because they aren't warm enough or the best fit for my foot.

I really liked the look of this boot and how lightweight it was. Unfortunately, the seam rubbed near my left ankle and the right boot was too short so they are being returned,
