I did a full size up and they fit well. I think I could have gotten away with a half size up, but I wanted there to be room for thick socks too!

Love these. Warm, cute, waterproof. Perfect for the crazy weather we’ve had recently. I normally wear a size 10, but bought a 10.5 based on reviews - they fit great. Love them.

I wanted to love these boots because they look pretty good and they're waterproof. I've had good luck with Sorel in the past. But these boots are very weird because they have a rubber outer shoe and then a fabric inner liner that is more like a sock in that it's not actually attached to the rubber part of the boot. The problem is, I ordered up a full size to accommodate winter socks, and while the rubber outer shoe is plenty roomy (i.e. when I put on the shoe and press on the outside of the toe of the shoe and wiggle my toes, I have ample room and in fact it sort of feels a little too big), INSIDE the boot, the liner is SOOOOOO tight. Like basically it feels like the boot is a 9.5 and the liner is for a size 7. It's so tight that it makes the insole buckle and/or come up at the back when there's no foot in the boot. Just wearing it for one minute around the house makes my toenails hurt, even if I try it without any socks at all. If I reach down inside the boot with my hand, I can feel that the liner is stretched very snugly around the insole and isn't anywhere near as big as the rubber part of the boot. It's awful. It seems like the only solution would be to cut out the liner, but then it's just a rubber rain boot without lining or insulation. So unfortunately, these have to go back.

I purchased these shoes this fall and am now having issues with the heel peeling off... I barely wear them and love the style so frustrating.

Super comfortable, the heel makes me feel a little less like a yeti and more like a woman traversing Antarctica which is nice.

Was so excited to get these as I was heading to Chicago at the record low temperatures rivaling the North Pole. These ran really small. I am a true 6 1/2 without waivering much. I have had to reorder and have them sent to Chicago ahead of me as they won't make it in time for me to take them with me. Zappos is awesome for that. I am ordering a 7 1/2 this time. I would order up a size if you plan to wear socks with any thickness. Great boot otherwise.

Take the advice of other peeps on this thread: Order a FULL SIZE up. I ordered a half size up from a 9 to a 9.5 and they were far too tight. Otherwise, these boots were super cute. I returned them because of the sizing.

Definitely order a half to a full size up! I usually wear an 8.5 or 9, depending on the style, but needed a 9.5 in this boot. So glad I listened to other reviewers and adjusted accordingly, because they fit perfectly and didn’t even require break-in time.

Love these Sorel never disappoints

Runs small! I'm returning and getting a full size larger. Otherwise a lovely boot.

I had heavily researched different brands, and styles and thought this was a good fit. However, after wearing the shoes outside in the elements I was greatly disappointed. I have other non winter boots that keep my feet warmer than these. After several days I just ended up wearing my Dr. Martens.

This is the second pair I've had to order becuase the first pair was not completly sealed at the rubber toe. This pair also is not fully sealed leaving my feet awkwardly damp after I've walked through the snow. I will once again return. They are super cute and I wished they'd work out!

This was such a tricky boot for me. I always wear a 7-7.5 but never an 8. The seam on the top of the 7 & 7.5 cut into the bone on the top of my foot so I had to go with an 8. In The process of trying to find the right size I also tried the Sorel Winter Carnival in an 8 which was gigantic. I finall got a sz that fit and I love it. Super comfy, cute & not like lugging around an uncomfy welly boot all day.

This is my second pair. Great for wet days and very comfortable.

Order half size larger

Wife likes them a lot... her words were they feel like wearing slippers. We ended up going up a half size from her normal.

I ordered the elk/black in my usual 1/2 size up. It fits very comfortable with med thick sock. The lining feels very cozy to the toe. I ordered a 7 and I have a med foot on the slim side but definitely not narrow. The leather is good thick quality. My only negative is a styling point, I would have preferred all leather on the back instead of the fleece cuff. Overall, they are still a beautiful boot...i have the black also--very rich combination.
