Beautiful details and very comfortable. I am 5'8 and the shaft height was perfect. They run small, I wear a 10 and the 10.5 was slightly tight with thin socks. Go up a full size.

This is a very pretty boot, however, I felt the size ran small. I'm a 9.5, and based upon reading a previous review I ordered a 10. I'm tall, so the length of the boot wasn't an issue, but it did reach the base of my kneecap. I had to exchange for a 10.5 as the "calf" boot was so tight on the right calf, I couldn't put the boot on. Cust Service was superb, and I had my new size in one day! The 10.5 feels better and looks nice. My only complaint is they are a bit difficult to put on and take off because they are long and not a full-zip boot- they only have a short zipper on the inner base of boot (where the inner ankles come together, maybe a 6" zipper). The zipper works but doesn't seem to serve a useful purpose in putting on or taking off. What I love about the boot is that even though they are size 10.5, the style doesn't give the appearance of having large feet, which can happen with some boot styles, so it's a nice dressy boot. They are worth trying simply because of the style, and ease of returning if they didn't work out- as I said, Cust Service was super.

I have many Sorel boots and this pair was a half size smaller than the other styles. I know that they will stretch out so I'm wearing thinner socks until I can wear a warmer sock. I have a med to narrow foot and normal to thin calfs and I do need some help getting them on and off...at least until I break them in more. They are made very well but don't keep my foot super warm with the thinner sock.

I read the reviews and tried to gauge what size I needed, so I ordered a half size larger. Wrong answer, they were too tight. Definitely need a full size larger. It's a shame because once I got them on and stepped down they felt like they'd be very comfortable to walk in! And the sole felt durable and like it had good grip. I am exchanging these for another style because the accent color of the band is more olive than brown as I thought. It is too reminiscent of a military-style color and that's not what I'm looking for. I want to be able to wear these with brown or black, and I'm sure they would look fine, but it's not quite what I wanted. Overall if they had fit properly I would have likely kept them! But since I have to exchange them anywyas, I'm going for something more my style.

The boot is really beautiful in person. I purchased the Quarry color and felt I could have worn it with just about anything. Unfortunately, the zipper is only about 3 inches at the inside ankle which is useless when trying to pull up the shaft. If the zipper had gone all the way up I could have pulled them on completely and zipped them closed but I couldn't get enough purchase on the shaft to pull them up entirely so I had to return them. So disappointed since there are so many reviews about how comfortable these boots are.

Was so excited to get these. There are super cool looking but I too have to return. Way too small. I ordered 1/2 size up. Too tight on top of foot and IMPOSSIBLE to take off. Sucks bc I was really hoping these were the ones

Love Zappos. Love Sorel. Love this boot!!!! However, it is a little narrow in the calf and I ordered a half size larger that my regular size. Sad but must return them at their cost.

I wanted a tall neutral color boot with some interesting details, and these do not disappoint. The Quarry looks fantastic with black, brown, blue, gray...exactly what I was looking for. I am tall, at 5'10" and these are the right height on my long legs—an inch or so below my kneecap. I would expect that they'd fit at an awkward place for someone below 5'7". Another note: they do run small. I am typically an 8.5, ordered a 9, and could have comfortably gone up to a 9.5. I'll keep the middle size, but will need to break them in before any long wears.

The boots run small. They are super cute. Zipper does not go all the way up the side it's only about 3 inches long on the side of the bed. Overall good product but they do tend to be small

Narrow toe box. For such a "tough-girl" style boot, the foot and toe shape is too dainty and feminine and narrow.

It's not the boot; it's me... I bought these despite reviews that said the shaft of the boot was too tall for shorter girls (I'm 5'4"). I did take the recommendation to size up, and ordered a 10, and I wear a 9 or 9 1/2. I ended up returning them after trying on once because they were very difficult to put on due to the small zipper (goes from the arch to the ankle on the inside of the boot). They also bagged at the ankles after I put them on because my knees kind of shoved the shaft of the boots down because they were too tall. I thought the boots were beautiful, unique and very well-made, and they would be perfect boots for someone who's at least 5'7" (which I believe other reviewers have said already) with longer legs and slim calves. Sad face.

The footbed was extremely narrow for my feet (which have never required a wide-width boot).

These boots are so freaking cute, I am so so upset they run small. At least a 1/2 I'd say closer to a full size small.

I have three other pairs of Sorel boots and they are all size 10 and, I usually wear a size 9.5. These boots were so tight that I actually had to order a size 11! Super cute but you would think that at this price, Sorel could be more consistent in their sizing. I have never ordered a size 11 in anything, even oversized running shoes. I would advise ordering a full size over if you plan on wearing these with a normal sock.

Casual style but very stiff and tight. Too small in the foot bed but snap at calf helps fit a range of sizes.

These boots are adorable! Unfortunately they are too narrow for my foot. I'm super sad as I thought these were thy ones!

i love these boots but they are impossible to put on and though they fit, there is pressure on the top of my foot from something inside the boot...very uncomfortable.

Beware. Beautiful boots but can't stand them. Very small and narrow and there is only about a 3 inch zipper near foot of boot. Foot cramped trying to get them on. Had to have a friend pull them off. Returning. Come on Sorel! Please make this boot work. Put a full zip on. Fix sizing. They are too beautiful to go unworn!

Issue of fit:-( As other reviewers noted: boot is stylish but narrow/tight and runs small. I ordered a 1/2 size up and still had difficulty with fit. The leather is also somewhat stiff - so combined with the narrow fit and short zipper - they are a nightmare to get on and off. Too bad as the footbed seemed comfortable and they do look even better in person.

Loved the look of these boots, 2-tone color is great. BUT, the boot runs narrow, which is never a problem for me. Cld barely get them on. Also, shafts is unusually high & hit right at the bend in my knee, very uncomfortable (I'm 5'6"). Too sad these fantastic looking boots have to go back.
