I have plantar fasciitis, so it can be difficult finding a shoe that accommodates my orthotics. My shoe size ranges anywhere from 10-11 depending on the shoe, so that also makes it tough to find shoes that meet all of my requirements. These shoes are sturdy and fit well. There is extra cushioning on the back of the shoe. Unfortunately the first time I wore them they rubbed painfully against the back of my foot and gave me a blister. I think the issue is lack of half sizes. I ordered the 10 first but they were far too small, so I exchanged for the 11 and they are a touch too big. I don't understand why half sizes are offered for smaller feet but not for 10.5. Overall I like them and think they are far more attractive than some of the clunky Herman Munster shoes for plantar fasciitis, but I'll need to find a way to prevent blisters.

I wanted these shoes to work in the worst way. I ordered 3 different pairs and it was this pair I choose first. They fit well/true to size and I would have kept them except they have a hard stitched thread right at the top of the heel. It's a high heel with the pull tab there and it's way to sharp not to know it will become a problem as you where them. So sad.

I had to order a half size larger, but then then felt great right out of the box. They are a bit clunky looking, but not as bad as my tennis shoes yet the same comfort.

I bought this brand last year in a size 8, which is what I normally am. I purchased these in a size 8, but they run REALLY small and I think I need a size 9.

I bought these right before I left on a 2 week trip to Italy. I had injured my toe and required a soft boot for 2 weeks prior; I did not break these in before leaving. I did not want to wear the typical white sneaker while in Europe. This brand was recommended by my podiatrist. I walked on average 5-10 miles and climbed 50 flights of stairs DAILY! These were amazingly comfortable. Black was great to match all my winter clothes. I could wear them with jeans and I could wear them with nicer pants. I will look at other Vionic shoes in the future.

The contoured "arch supportive" sole of this shoe was made of styrofoam! How comfortable is that going to be? However, it is easy removable and replaced. Also, the heel was too wide.

Ideal house shoe: easy on and off, comfy, supportive, and they don't slip off my narrow heels.

Fit true to size .. I ordered a 9.5M and it was a good fit both in length and width. Wore these on a walking tour and they were surprisingly comfortable. I experienced a bit of a rub on my right heel while driving though. Something about my foot in the shoe while on the accelerator caused minor rubbing. Go figure! I would order again if they had more pretty colors for summer. I got the pink and would love lime green or turquoise or coral. Vionic please offer more colors!!

These are running VERY small. I own a pair of these exact shoes in 8.5 and so i ordered a new pair expecting the same fit. The shoes that arrived were smaller and uncomfortable. I did wear the out, thinking it would not be an issue but they were really hurting me by the end of the event. I would recommend ordered a size up. My stars are based on my experience with the original pair that I bought not this replacement that is too small.

I usually wear a size 10M. That is what I ordered and it fit fine. Very comfortable. Wore them all weekend to a conference where I spent many hours in the exhibit hall. Feet felt fine. Quite comfy. Looks good with jeans or jean shorts.

As suggested by other reviewers I ordered a size larger than normal. However they were huge. Not only in length but also in width. Nice shoe though. An attractive change to sneakers so an exchange is imminent. My shoe rack is full of Vionic shoes but I find the sizing can be inconsistent.

I have several pair Vionic and some fit better than others. I had the black Opals and liked them except the pink lining so I ordered the grey. Not sure I am going to keep them. They look great but the elastic across the top is very tight and they are too short. Not sure they would stretch any. I wear 11 and there is no 11.5. I will keep buying avionics per my Drs recommendation

I bought the Opal in Black size 6.5. I was diagnosed with plantar fasciitis last summer and have bought many pairs of Vionics since. I originally bought this style off of another website in 6, but they were too small and they didn't have the half size up. I was so excited to find them here. These shoes are really stylish and very comfortable. I just recommend you go up half a size.

I didn't read the reviews to order a larger size - I wish I had. Can't wait for the correct size to get here - I really liked these. I own sandals, slippers and other shoes from Vionic. These are the only shoes I can wear without custom orthotics as they are the only ones on the market that address over-pronation.

I had read a recommendation to order half a size up from the normal Vionic shoe size, and that was sound advice! I wear a 7 in vionic sandals, an 8 in vionic shoes, and I'm somewhere in between an 8 and a 8.5 in these shoes. The black ones are subtle enough to wear to work with dress pants, and extremely comfortable. I've been waiting for a pair of shoes like this for a LONG time!

Loved these shoes so much, I had to get a second pair. I am on my feet all day. These shoes stand up to the best of them and my feet don't feel tired when I get home.

I tried this in my normal size for Vionic which is a 9M. It was too small. Ordered the 9.5M and it fits much much better. Very cute. Well cushioned and fits right out of the box. I love Vionic. I have diabetic feet and Vionic has opened up a new world of comfort for me without orthotics!

The insert in this shoe has great support. I'm finding that some of the casual sport shoes lack structure and support. The Vionic feels like a comfy sneaker but is light weight and open. Love it.

I love my new Opal! They are sassy, lightweight and super cute with leggings, shorts and fun dresses. I have been suffering from plantar fasciitis for over a year and finally found a solution! Girls....if your heels hurt, you need these shoes. And if they don't, you still need these! Thank you Vionic!

I love this style but they run small and I need in wide width. Very cute shoe. I hated to but I had to return.

I was looking for a slip on sneaker/mary jane that could support my high arches and wide feet. The only reason I'm returning these is because I need these shoes in a wide, but they weren't available, so I thought I'd try them in a medium anyway. Alas, my wide feet will not be comfy in these. They felt great on my high arches, excellent arch support, and I loved that the straps are stretchy, which makes them super easy to get on and off, and for my high arches I wouldn't have to worry about straps being too short. I tried these in navy, grey, and black. If I had bought them I would have bought the grey, which is very versatile. The navy looked a bit goofy I thought with the contrasting white sole. The black was fine but the grey just matches with more clothes I think. Oh well, returning them. So... the search continues, maybe I'll just get a wide shoe I like and put the Vionic insoles in?

The shoes unfortunately were too big in the heel/ankle slipping as you walk. I have average size heels not narrow so I would definitely say they are larger than average. I really like the shoes and my orthotics easily fit. Darn they have to be returned.

Really cute but oh! my! gosh!! they run small! I'll need to send them back. Bummed because they're already a size 11 (that feel like 10s) and the sizes don't go any larger. I'm new to this brand and am trying three different styles, all size 11: this one (too small); another (huge!) and a third - also a bit on the short side but I may keep anyway because they almost work and the arch support is amazing.

I usually wear 7 The 7.5 was too short and the 8 slips off my foot. Very comfortable, but I must return...

These are very comfortable shoes, light weight but good arch support. The toe box is comfortably wide. They do run small, I ordered my size at first and my toes rubbed. I reordered a half size up which is a little loose in the heel, but will work. They seem versantile, I'm taking them on a trip as my only closed shoes.
