I have arthritic feet and I do love this shoe. I usually wear an 8.5 but got the 9 and it seemed fine. This shoe is streamline..making ones foot look nice. I love this Dark Blue color and it has great lases. I however need a shoe with more cushion for my feet so I will go with the Hoka.

I've had these in the slate color for over a year now and they've held out really well! They are super comfortable. My only complaints: The shoe laces aren't very sturdy so I find myself having to double knot them if I'm doing anything rigorous and the traction could be better!

I love these shoes! They were really comfortable and didn't have to 'break' them in. I would definitely get them half size larger due to wearing hiking socks.

Comfortable enough to wear with jeans on casual day at work, but not too casual like tennis shoes are.

Fits like a trail runner and I have been using them as light hikers. Not too techy looking so they look cute on and off the trail.

Such a comfy and great-looking shoe! The insole is easily removed to add an orthotic. I needed mine for just a bit more arch support.

Great look and super comfortable. I can't wait to walk around Corsica with these light weight shoes! They're so light I bought 2 pairs and together they don't weigh as much as my hiking gear, so they're great for traveling. I think they will be perfect on the mid-level trails I plan to enjoy, and transition seamlessly into town. It's my first time buying shoes online, first time buying Tevas. Great!

Amazing shoes. I have incredibly difficult feet and have to try on countless pairs of shoes before finding something that works for me. These shoes really surprised me with their quality and comfort. They have the extra comfortable fit of an athletic shoe and the insoles are removable to accommodate orthotics (my orthotics fit perfectly). They actually look sporty and casually stylish and they are super warm and waterproof. Perfect for wet, slushy winter visits with my family in Chicago.

When I read that others found these to be wearable, comfortable, right out of the box, it got my attention.
I ordered, and indeed, these are comfortable and wearable, right out of the box!
I normally wear an 8-1/2, but as others have stated, they run a little small. Thanks to other reviewers, they do run a little small.
I ordered the 9 and they fit beautifully.
The arch sits perfectly, there's a comfortable amount of space in the toe box, which allows my toes to wiggle, so no pinching or crowding.
The heel is also perfect, so slippage, no rubbing.
I have orthopaedic issues, and I have to say that these shoes support my ankle, reduce pain in my knee!
I'm now using orthotics; if you use them, you know that the fit of shoes can be problematic. These shoes accommodate them with no problems.
I like the idea of water resistance; we're going to Alaska and will be doing a lot of hiking, fishing etc., these shoes keep my feet dry, have good traction, and are perfect for outdoor activities.
I've normally gravitated toward Merrell, but they haven't been comfortable as of late. It may be that their sizing has changed?, don't know, but I think I may stick with Teva for now.
oh..when ordering, the width was given as 'Medium". The shoes I received are 'wide'; I don't believe you get a choice. It didn't matter, because the fit is quite good.

Love these shoes! They are light yet supportive and are definitely waterproof. The laces are also great quality. They are easy to take on and off and adjusting the tightness is very easy. These shoes are extremely versatile, I wear them with everything for everything! Once again, Teva has made me very very happy, love this band.

When I frist put these shoes on the left shoe was uncomfortable, but after two days my shoes were broke in and now there is no discomfort in either shoe. I use my shoes every day for school and I average about 3.5 miles doing so and my feet are never hurg at the end of the day. At frist I was unsure about these shoes based on the website pictures but after wearing them and am so glad that I bought them, I have the blue pair.

I work 12+ hour days on my feet, in a variety of conditions. I am also trying to find a good work shoe. These are great! I have a mostly flat foot, and these fit me perfectly. They are super lightweight. And supposed to be waterproof. Haven't had a rain to test that out yet. I also have wide feet and have not experienced any pinching. Definitely worth the money for me!

Zappos should give lessons to other businesses on customer service because they truly are fantastic!
I love Zappos shoe selections, website, fair pricing, incredible delivery and return policy. They are the best in the industry.

These shoes would probably work well for summer hiking in easy terrain. They don't have the sturdiness and support that I need for rocky mountain and steep hill climbing though.

These look great, sporty and cute but are too small. I'm usually an 11 and these are a half size too small and they don't make a size bigger than 11 unfortunately.

I was at my wits' end: I live in a high mountain desert climate so I live in my Keen sandals during the summer, fall and spring, and boots in the winter. Didn't want hiking boots, but needed some comfortable, waterproof, walking shoes for our August trip to Ireland. I have rain boots, but I knew those wouldn't work for a lot of walking. I knew we'd likely get stuck walking in the rain more often than not. I also have a very hard-to-fit foot (wide front, narrow heel, flat-footed, and bunions). As mentioned, these are a tad snug around the ball of my foot (the only thing that keeps me from giving them fives stars), but a light sock helped, along with taking them off and giving my feet a rest when I could. I like the hooks at the top of the shoe because that helps with making the shoe fit snugly on my heel. They worked perfectly in terms of waterproofness; we got caught in a downpour a couple of times and the water sheets right off the shoe, kept me nice and dry the whole time. (I also spilled coffee on them once and again, it just sheets right off!) It's great to not have to waterproof a shoe, just slip them on and you're ready to go! I like the style, it's not too athletic-looking or heavy like a hiking shoe/boot and I prefer neutral-colored footwear so the black and white also suited my taste.
