Love these boots. I got then in anticipation for the fall, knowing that cute boots often sell out quickly in my size. The color cognac is a nice reddish shade of brown, but not overly red or "blah" brown. I bought them in a size 9 and 9.5 to decide what fits best. My normal shoe size is a 9, but I often get my boots in a 9.5 in order to accommodate thicker socks. With these boots however, I kept the 9s as they fit well and still had some room in the heel and toe. I don't expect to wear these with super thick socks like I would knee high boots in the winter so the bigger size wasn't necessary. Therefore, I would say that these fit true to size. I can't wait to test these out for real once the weather cools down; they look super cute with skinny jeans and leggings. Functional, comfy, and cute. The heel isn't too tall which is nice since I'm 5'8 and have no need to tower over people on a regular basis.

Cute simple shoe. Once I put a stretcher in them for a couple of days, they fit perfect.

Great style, the ankle feels great. The heel is a little more chunky that I thought, but it fits the style of the boot. I am right in between a normal width and wide width and the toe box is a LITTLE narrow, but not so much that it is a problem- it will just take some wear to break it in. Overall, nice tough boot that will help me through some SoCal winters.

I loved the style of these boots but they pinched in the tight toe box. The leather was stiff and I imagine if I would have kept these they would have softened and loosened, but I just couldn't go for the pain of breaking them in. I'm a medium width that runs a little wider, so really narrow toe boxes generally aren't comfortable for me. Considering this was a rounded tow, I would have liked a bit more space. I had to return them after much debate.

The leather was quite stiff and that was really hard on my feet. Cut in a little at the ankle in the front when walking forward. So will be returning. They otherwise looked good in person and had good arch support. Good toebox.

Super cute but after trying on a few pair of boots from this brand I found they run narrow right over the arch. These are stylish and not too high of a heel. They're sturdy and high quality they just run narrow. So sad I have to return them

I ordered these in medium...and they sent the wide. Which was too wide. They fit in the toe area, but my heel slipped in the back. An uncharacteristic Zappos mistake...so these will be going back.

This boot takes a great deal of effort to put on the foot! I don't have a high arch, but one has to really wiggle to get in it. The ankle shaft is narrow. I ordered my regular size first and thought I'd like them a bit bigger to wear with socks, so I ordered a 1/2 size bigger, also hoping that it ease getting into the boot, as well. The 1/2 size up is better for sock wearing, but still very difficult to get into the boot! Not sure I will keep them.

These shoes are cute as hell but don't jive well with my high arches. I managed to squeeze my feet in, and after walking around in them for a day they felt broken in. They're comfortable now, but I'm afraid that I will bend them too much that they'll leave marks on the top. I'm bummed because they fit perfectly when they're on my feet. Not sure if i'm going to return them or not because they're so cute and super comfy and easy to walk in.

I absolutely loved the shoe, but after wearing it just around the house for about an hour the front of my feet were aching. Sadly I had to return them.

Thought I would try the boots because I loved their sandals this year but these are narrow in the arch and wide in the heel... didn't fit my foot :(

I wear a 6, in everything including Teva. I could not get my foot into this adorable boot! I know I have a high arch but even with a shoehorn, there was no way to jam my foot into this boot. I even looked to see if they had sent the wrong size, but it was a 6M, my standard size for the last 40 years of my life! Had to give them one star for comfort since I couldn't get them on! So sad because they are just what I wanted.
