Sorry to be a bummer, but the heal and mid-sole developed holes after just 6 months of use. I wore them 5 days a week (I work in a library), but nothing to rough on the boot. For $169.00 I feel this shoe should last more than 6 months. Don't get me wrong, it's a super-comfortable boot, looks nice but...I contacted Tom's to describe the situation, but they never wrote back. Oh well, A good 6 month boot!

I have grown to love Toms boots ans shoe boots. They are the most comfortable boot I have ever owned. I was so excited to buy these boots for a trip to Iceland. I put them on an walked around my house for bit. They were fine at first, but then they started making some squeaking noise that i could feel in my feet it was so strong. I removed the insole and saw a few metal rivets that attached the shoe to the tread. (I don't know what all the parts of the shoe are called.) It seems like the rubber sole is rubbing against the metal rivets causing that noise. I don't see that ever going away. I am really torn. I don't want to return them, but i'm afraid if i keep them i will get really bothered by the feeling/noise... Not sure what to do...

I've worn these boots almost every day for the last two years and it's amazing how well they've held up. Lots of life left on the soles, no tears and the stitching is just fine. The laces aren't the greatest quality and came apart after about a year but that's an easy fix. I just keep them hydrated and polished so they wear consistently. Highly recommend. A bonus that the insole is removable so you can easily replace it for more padding.

I really like these boots. They look great and are comfortable. I ordered a 1/2 size larger (a 12 and I normally wear an 11.5) based on other comments and I am glad I did. Because of how they are waterproofed they are warm when wearing compared to my other shoes and boots. Not uncomfortably warm but noticeable. I would recommend them if you are looking for a stylish waterproof boot.

Wanted something versatile between work boot and nicer-looking dress/casual boot and these accomplish that outstandingly. They are very warm and comfortable. There is a little stiffness/pressure on the top of the foot as another reviewer noted but that will hopefully go away with some wear. Have not tested their water-proof claim but they seem really well/made and comfortable so far!

These fit very well and true to size (10.5). I am a big fan of boots and these are by far the most comfortable I have ever worn. Like other reviewers have mentioned, one of the eyelets came loose but fixed with a little glue.

I guess I have high arches because mid lace section is kind of painful. I've loosened them up and it sort of helps. But they're so comfortable. A true 7. They hug your feet like no other of my 40+ shoes. The olive color is significantly lighter than they picture. But I still really like them.

Typically an 11-1/2, had to return and get the 12. But great boot, Super comfortable and stylish

Great style and very comfortable. Wore them around the house for a couple of hours and they felt really good right out of the box. They felt a little narrow initially, but similar to my Timberlands so I attribute it to new leather. Didn’t take long to get used to/break in. Only had them a few days and already getting compliments.

Very comfortable boot

My nephew tried these on but doesn't know he's getting them for Christmas. He said they are very comfortable and very stylish. He is 15, 5'9" and wears a 10.5. The leather is a very nice darker brown color. They look high-end.

Nice looking boots. No break-in was needed, they were comfortable right out of the box. I would probably buy them again. Other reviews were accurate. The eyelets pop out and the rivets in the soles pop and make noise. Not a loud noise that I’ve noticed. More that it makes me think they are untied and the lace it tapping the top of the boot.

I like everything about this shoes. The look, the fit, the color are all satisfactory. I withheld one star because the one metal eyelet came off as soon as I put on the shoes. I decided to keep the shoes because the pants go over it anyway.

I've tried both 9 & 9.5 in this boot, as I'm usually one of those two sizes. The toe box is just tight. I don't have particularly wide feet, and the 9.5 is long enough, but my toes are just crunched. Not a nice sensation. They are warm, though.

These boots are mostly comfortable, but occasionally they pinch the top of my foot while walking. Also, they make a weird clicking noise that I can’t seem to isolate. The two issues may be related. They seem like good quality, and I think after a few more wears they’ll break in nicely. Living in LA doesn’t give me a lot of opportunities to wear them.

Style and support were excellent with this boot. Unfortunately they were too narrow for my feet. Wish TOMS would construct the next Ashland wider or offer wide sizes.
