My kid loves them! And that says a lot coming from my hard-to-please six-year-old. ;) Originally I thought they were black, but when I saw them in person they were dark blue. The bright green looks great against the blue, so all is good.

My son loves, loves, loves his new shoes. He's 4 and doesn't like wearing shoes. I found these shoes that are light weight and Velcro - perfect for my little man. Now, he won't take them off! Will buy a second pair!!!

Shoes were amazing, perfect for my 6 year old to put on and take to school. I didn't have to worry about him lacing his shoes!

My 6 year old loves these shoes and says they make him "look cool", enough said! The velcro is perfect for kids who aren't tying shoes themselves just yet while the lace design adds a grown up feel to the shoe. His feet do get a tad dusty from the breathable mesh fabric but on hot days thats also what keeps his feet cool. With that in mind these are not the best shoes for a rainy day.

Very bright blue. Not exactly a neutral choice that matches everything. Comfortable and have lasted well so far. (1 month), Have had these in the past in different colors in the tie version and they lasted great, Very cool and flexible. Kiddo seems comfortable. Love Nike's for kids. They're all we buy for athletic shoes.

Great shoe! Enough support to run around and be a crazy boy. Love that they are velcro but still kinda look like lace-ups.

This shoe is the go-to shoe for my 6 year old. He can't quite tie his shoes yet but does not want the look of "velcro" shoes that would be too babyish in his mind. So these look very cool, and look as though they have laces. This is our 4th pair, and I'm sure we will get more when he outgrows these.

Great shoe! I bought these for my almost 4 year old. He has outgrown the size 10 toddler shoe so I had to move him up to a size 11. The reason I purchased these is because of the velcro strap. I only wish the Nike symbol was white and not black (hard to see), but still a great looking shoe.

Attractive shoe for my 4-year-old, but sizing is a bit off. He's currently wearing a Nike "Toddler" size 10, but the next step up to a "Little Kid" size 10.5 in this particular style appears to be a whole size bigger (mostly in length). For reference, we ordered another pair of Nikes in the same shipment from Zappos, different style in a 10.5 "Little Kid" and they seemed like a more appropriate half-size up.

Love these shoes but we got them in the silver and orange, so they looked dirty very quickly. Recommend buying darker colors if your child plays hard!

Love the look but they run large!

Really wanted to like these shoes for my son. Loved the versatile all black as I'm not a fan of obnoxious colors or character themed shoes. The length was true to size but my son felt like the shoes were too tight/narrow mid-foot which has also been my experience with Nike's as well in adult sizes. I also didn't like how short the velcro tab was. Could barely close it all the way so the whole strip was covered which doesn't sound too important except we have dogs and if any part of either sides of the velcro isn't covered, dog hair tends to stick to it. Not a good look!

My 6 year old son loves these shoes. Comfortable and easy to put on. He wanted them in 2 colors!

This shoe is stylish and comfortable, but almost the entire sole is made of a softer rubber. So it probably won't hold up for long. My 8 year loves them though!

I ordered this shoe a little larger thinking my son would wear it in the spring time. I have always loved the Flex Experience and the look of the sole. The color of this shoe is a different story. It is very periwinkle. From the picture it seemed like a bright blue but it looks very different in person. I so wish that Zappos would bring more of these shoes in neutral colors instead. Back they go!
