Great fit with lots of features. Not too heavy, but very warm. Really appreciate the soft pockets & being able to adjust the hem from inside the pocket. Inside pocket with headphone port works well. My favorite part is the sleeves - aside from being velcro adjustable, there's kind of an extra elastic "mini sleeve" inside. It's like having an extra layer at the wrists to keep the wind out, without the added bulk of another layer. My only gripe is the hood - the parts that attach under the chin are a bit fiddly. Other than that, this is one of my favorite coats ever.

I really like this jacket. I have worn it winter hiking in the woods several times and it has met my expectations and goals... The outside material is durable enough to handle sticks and twigs unlike my lighter ultralight packable down coat. I like that this coat is one piece and down filled so it is very warm, yet not super heavy. I was looking for a down coat that is more durable than my packable down sweater, but yet was not super Bulky and looks good . This coat has delivered.

I love Marmot jackets. Needed something warm and weatherproof for winter activities with my kids. Quality of the jacket was immediately evident and the color, as others have mentioned in their reviews, was more muted compared to images on the Marmot site (I got the Scotch). The retro styling is great and it looks even better with the hood off. Super-comfortable on the inside and not "noisy" like some other winter jackets. Great value!!

I'm a fluffy 200lb 5'10" fella, and medium fits but just a bit snug. I think a large would be way too big though. I love the jacket. It's a great looking, rugged exterior with a super plush interior. The scotch color looks beautiful in person, a little more muted than the product photos which I think is perfect.

Quality and textures of the materials that went into making this jacket are contagious, at least for me. The color was surprisingly even better in person. It seems they over-exposed the photos to make the colors pop which does a disservice to the reality of the display which is more natural browns and shades of caramel that come off more pleasing to the rustic eye.

This jacket does the trick! My son plays college baseball and the season starts in February. I set out in the cold for sometimes 5 hours. This jacket always keeps me warm and comfortable! Love it!

Fits to spec, slim, SUPER warm - in fact I don't need much under it on the coldest days in the tri state area; and stitching / quality has held up fine.

The material used is much thicker than standard nylon used for packable down jackets. This is a heavier duty jacket that feels less suited to technical outdoors activities and more suited to working like chopping wood. It's also extremely warm and looks great in scotch.

Really Warm and very comfortable. Did great during a wet snow storm and the hood is helpful. Pockets are great and I liked the price.

Very warm and durable. I'm a big fan of the material that covers my wrists / end of the sleeves (fully closed from elements and comfortable). The fit throughout the body is appropriate and not too loose like many other jackets.

Used it snowboarding in Colorado, and it is extremely warm. Only needed a base layer and this jacket the whole week. The fleece cuffs were the secret for trapping in the heat. Only thing I wish it had were some zip pits under the armpits for ventilation. I'm 6'3 and 195 - Large was perfect. All in all, another great purchase from a trusted company.

out of dozens of down jackets this is one of my favourites. It has none of the problems mentioned by others. It fits well, has superb build quality and function and an excellent, vintage vibe. No disappointments with this one. It is used primarily as an urban piece in a very cold northern Ontario winter environment,

Most comfortable coat I've ever owned, by a mile. Fits like a glove and feels good to put it on. Wore it in the mid 20's with only a T shirts. Used it on a ski trip, warm and does not restrict motion

Warmest jacket I ever had. Been outside in 15 and windy with upper body still warm, Fit is good
