I really liked the shoes, but the tounge kinda gouges into my skin..

For gardening, I need a waterproof shoe which I can easily slip-on, 7 days a week. Ordered this Columbia Newton Ridge Moc. Ordered my normal shoe size, 10 1/2. My shoe width is D. The 10 1/2 was a half size too small. The width was fine. It was a challenge putting on the 10 1/2. So, returned/replaced the shoe a half size up. Size 11 slips on fine. A good looking, utilitarian shoe. Good support. Comfortable. Dependable for keeping my feet dry and comfortable for wearing when the garden is not wet. Just what I needed, a gardening shoe which can be worn in wet or dry weather.

I've had these shoes for about 2 years, and I pretty much wear them everyday. If you have to wear shoes, these are the ones you should wear. They fit well, and they truly are waterproof, unless you go wading and the shoes fill up with water... in which case nothing is waterproof, and you need someone to explain this concept to you in a slow, monosyllabic and patient way. I have a pair of Merrells that I alternate with, but I prefer these, and they have taken a beating and look good.

These boots are stiff and hard to slip on. However once they are on my foot, they feel sturdy and comfortable.

Nice for winter time when you have to slip off your shoes indoors

OK, yes these are a bit stiff when you first try them on, but they stretch with wear. I'd rather have a pair of shoes be slightly tight and conform to my foot over time than have a shoe be too loose at the outset. I took these camping and they performed swimmingly. I rowed a canoe with almost ankle deep bilge water and my feet stayed dry and toasty. They survived the rigors of ashy campfires, muddy slop, and slippery rocks. They clean up nicely with a damp paper towel, and they look great. Oh, they're also reasonably priced. AND they come in my size (16). I would recommend these to my patients who like comfortable, durable slip-on shoes. I'm not a doctor, nor do I play one on TV. I'm just a guy. Stop reading and buy these. You won't be disappointed. If for some crazy reason you are, Zappos will refund your money. YOU CAN'T LOSE!

If have a high in-step and, while the shoe may stretch, it was not going to be enough elasticity to wear comfortably.

Comfortable with good traction. Unfortunately, the knit material at the back of the heel wears through very quickly. As a result, I would not purchase them again.

Shoes felt pretty good on my feet. Slightly narrow but these things were pretty ugly. Hats off to folks taking pictures and producing the videos for making them look better than they are.
