I finally tried out the Firecamp while blowing snow. As I hoped, they were light, warm and kept my feet dry and comfortable. There are no wide widths listed so these were a gamble but it worked out. (I ordered a size larger.)

Very warm and ideal for walking in the snow/slush. I bought a half size larger than my usual size and they are fine but another half size larger would have been perfect. I did need to wear them in as initially they rubbed my small toes until they eased up after a week or so. I really like them!

I bought these at the size I wear and the ony issue I have is at my pinky toes after wearing them for about 5-6 hours. I use them for woods and rain playing Disc Golf and they are perfect. Good grip, good waterproofing.
I would say get a size bigger if you don't have narrow feet and the laces snagged too easy hence the 4 stars.

Great boots. Very comfortable to wear. Hated the fact it took nearly 10 days to arrive. Love the look & feel.

Love these boots/sneakers but the sizing instructions were confusing and they are a bit spacey.

The boots look and feel great. They are more snug than I expected and so I am curious how they'll be with winter socks. I have not taken them out yet, so I will update later.

Nicely made boot. Lightweight, warm insulated. Good traction. Can't speak to the wetproof ratings as of yet. Great for hiking/trekking. As other reviewers mentioned, ordered a size up and fits nicely.

As other reviewers suggested these boots do run small so I purchased a half size bigger which seemed to be the trick. We have been having a lot of snow lately in the Northeast so I needed a new pair of boots. They keep your feet warm and dry but they are not the most comfortable boots I've ever had but are any boots really that comfortable? I got them in sale so I'm happy with the purchase

I get cold easily so a shoe that helps me keep warm is a plus. Shoe is comfortable off the box. As far as warmth goes low 50 degrees, my feet are somewhat warm. Anything colder than 50 then my feet start getting cold.

Bought 2 sizes (normally a 10, bought an 11) bigger and glad I did. With sox they are snug. Barefoot, perfect. These are warm. My feet were never cold in sub-zero temps. However, after about 15 minutes indoors, my feet start to get warm. They feel really at home shoveling snow. Very comfortable when you buy at least one size larger.

I walk a mile and a half to and from work in Chicago. This boot is not only warm, but also light and flexible like a gym shoe. And I've gotten compliments on the color from co-workers.

I like these boots for the most part. They're light weight and warm if it isn't too cold. I took the advice and ordered a 13 instead of a 12. When the arrived I compared the outer length to my usual size 12 boots - same size. I'm not sure where how Columbia arrives at the warmth rating. I was out walking for 2 hours in 22 degrees Fahrenheit and my toes were definitely not toasty. The soles grip well, but are fairly soft. They will not last as well as vibrams. Over all, a fairly good purchase considering I assumed the drawbacks when I bought them.

I just got these about two weeks ago, so I can't speak adequately to longevity or long-term waterproofing (though I've tested them a bit in heavy rain and deep puddles, and at least initially, the waterproofing is sound on mine). But the main thing I wanted to note about sizing is that while these boots do run very small, they also stretch out a bit, very quickly. I normally wear a 10 (in a EE width, where possible), and thanks to the helpful reviews here, went up to an 11 for these. They still felt very tight across the widest point of my foot, and I was worried that I needed to go higher still, but after just 15 minutes or so of walking around the neighborhood, they began to loosen up and the size now feels perfectly fine. So I'd definitely recommend going one full size above your normal fit, but don't overreact if they feel too narrow at first.
Beyond that, they're very warm and comfortable boots. They're not too warm for a mild winter -- I'm wearing them happily on days in the mid- to upper-40s. Hope that helps.

Had to return and go up 2 sizes. I wear an 11 ordered a 12 and still too tight. Boots are very comfortable just go up a size or 2. Definitely if your feet are wide. Can't say if they keep your feet warm or dry. Haven't been in those elements yet to test.

Had to return the 1st pair because they were too small. I normally wear a 10.5, got an 11, barely could get my feet in them. Returned them for 12's. In hindsight 12.5's probably would have been ideal. They are comfortable right out of box. I did buy them as lightweight winter boots. With that said I haven't had a chance to test them in very cold weather, like below 20f. I can say they are too hot to wear indoors or even in the car for an extended period of time. Family went to this Christmas light show which was an hour in the car each way and honestly couldn't get them off my feet fast enough when I got home. Not saying that comfort-wise, they were just so hot
