I wore these Columbia boots during my sons friezing cold and wet soccer games this past weekend. My feet stayed warm and dry all day. These boots are surprisingly light for the warmth they provide and look great both with leggings and jeans. The sole has good traction (like my Solomon hiking shoes). They have better arch support than Uggs, and are definetly easier to maintain. I highly reccomend these boots for COLD WET weather. They would be great for college kids hiking accross campus during winter too.

My new favorite winter ankle boots! I have very sensitive feet and finding shoes that don't rub, irritate or give me blisters is a challenge. But these Columbia heavenly boots are so comfortable, cozy and cute! They're warm, lightweight and flexible. They felt great right out of the box, no break in period necessary. I'm size 9.5-10 in most shoes and ordered the sea salt/fawn color in size 10, they fit perfectly. True to size but if you're between sizes I'd say go with your larger size, especially if you plan on wearing winter socks that are a bit thicker. I confirmed with Columbia and these boots are all textile uppers/faux fur/synthetic/manmade. I'd been searching for a high quality alternative to Uggs which I quit buying after going vegan a few years ago, so happy to see Columbia making such stylish and functional alternatives that are equally as comfortable. I prefer the more feminine look of these compared to Uggs too! They look great with yoga pants, skinny jeans. The bottoms have a non-slip rubber tread, so crunching around in the slushy melting ice and snow hasn't been a problem. The only downside I can think of is to consider if the height is right for you. They're ankle-height and they only lace up below the fur trim. So with the tongue being somewhat open, they could be prone to snow or other debris kicking up into the boot. Not a big deal though, I'll invest in a taller pair of boots for those occasions. If you're on the fence about these, just order them already, they're so worth it!

I am a picky shoe buyer and I absolutely love these boots - I live in Pittsburgh so we have lots of slushy days and occasionally snow, but most of all I wanted my feet to stay warm walking from the bus stop to work. These boots go above and beyond - like other reviews, I will echo that they feel like slippers on your feet. Incredibly lightweight, they keep my feet very warm in all conditions. I found they ran a little small but not small enough to warrant going up a half size. The style is also very attractive - the laces make the boots very adjustable and the appearance suits many styles. Would buy again!

The Columbia Heavenly Shorty Omni-Heat is just that heavenly! Columbia as usual puts out a great overall product. The boot insole is soft and feels nice while standing or walking. I wore them for over 5 hours out of the box and my feet felt great. The boot runs a little tight, especially if you are going to wear heavier socks or have a wider foot, so I would suggest buying a 1/2 size larger. I'm a 6-1/2 and the 7 worked well. The Omni-heat fabric is true to its name, feet stay toasty warm. Overall Columbia has put out another quality product that is functional with style. These boots are really cute, the right height, sitting just above the ankle, and do what is asked of them, to be comfortable, warm, water resistant and durable. You will enjoy them!

Wear a size 8 shoe but want to wear two pairs of socks with boots. Ordered sizes 8.5 and 9. Size 9 was perfect. Chicago's winter started early and these boots are already keeping my toes warm.

These shoes were surprisingly warm for what little shoe it was. They feel like athletic shoes, but not a lot of arch support. I really like the idea of them, but they are too narrow for my feet. I do not have very wide feet, but even going up in size didn’t work for me. They are long and narrow shoes. I did love how they weren’t clunky like so many other bulky snow boots out there.

The Columbia Heavenly Shorty Ommi-Heat is the perfect boot! The reflective material keeps my feet warm and dry when outside in the fickle Central IL winter. The boot is very comfortable, stylish, and very light. The boot sits just above the ankle and the faux fur cuff is cute as can be. I wear regular socks with my boots and the boots fit perfectly. If you wear thick socks, or have wider feet, take the advice of other reviews and order a half size up to ensure a great fit.

I bought these shoes because I wanted something waterproof and snowproof! These shoes are perfect, they feel good and they deliver. I am in between a size 9.5 and a 10 and the 10 fit perfectly and I don't have to wear thick winter socks!

Loved them...but...These were my first choice in a short boot but I had to send them back. The medium is to narrow even with a thin sock. I chose instead the "Ryka Brae". Same comfort, same style, but I was able to get a WIDE width to not be squeezy to my feet and able to wear a thicker sock. The Ryka Brae is $50 cheaper and 3 ounces lighter if these don't work out for you. I would say if you choose these they are a wonderful brand but get a 1/2 size larger. Love the fur top and the Ryka does not have the fur but you can add a furry boot cuff. I tried to let out the Columbia as far as I could but it was still to snug a fit. I have a thin medium foot as my photo shows....Zappos has them all, my only shoe place.

I wear 10.5N, purchased the 11M widthe. These have enough cushy comfort and lace-ability to fit like a dream. Narrows REJOICE! I will be wearing these caroling this year. Those of us with narrow feet struggle to find ANYTHING suitable in a warm boot. Hiking boots and riding boots do not exist in my size (shame on manufacturers) so I want to thank Columbia for making this snuggable and for not being short-sighted. I would like more options for color and style for shoes and boots in my size.

These boots are amazing. For the first time in 19 years my feet stay warm all day at my office! I sit near large bay windows and am always cold in the winter (even with my little heater under my desk). Not anymore! As long as my feet are warm, then I stay warm. I haven't had to use my heater since I purchased them. I really like how the boots have a little bounce to them so my knees and back do not feel the impact of walking. I had knee and back surgery so I have to be picky about my footwear. I followed the advice of the other reviews and ordered a half size up. I normally wear a 9 and ordered a 9.5. Perfect fit for regular socks. If you plan on wearing thick socks then I recommend ordering a full size up. These boots were very comfortable straight out of the box with no break-in needed. I wear bootcut slacks to work and they cover the boots nicely. As an added bonus for me, they are really cute with my NYDJ skinny jeans. :)

I think these boots will get the job done. I have a lot of requirements: lightweight, waterproof, warm, easy-on, easy-off and flexible enough to be comfortable while driving. The Columbia Heavenly Shorty Omni-Heat seems to run slightly small; I usually wear a 7.5 in boots, and this 7.5 is a bit tight when worn with heavy socks. So far, it's doing well in the waterproof and warm categories. One quirk is that it doesn't lace all the way up to the top. Maybe it was designed that way to show off the fur cuff, or to make it easier to get on and off. In any case, for me the laces loosen up easily and the boot becomes too loose. I'm planning to replace the laces with longer ones so I can wrap the lace around the ankle. Maybe that will help.

Feels a little less supportive than I’d like at the heel. Otherwise, warm, comfy, and very cute. Also, I’m a size 8 and had to size up to a 9, as they run small.

Good fit - every step is like walking on a cloud. seriously seems to bounce you back up. Like wearing slippers - and very soft and warm.

First, I went with the recommended size (8) which I would have ordered anyway. They fit a little tight/short and I was worried my feet would get cold without having room to move much, so they went back and I exchanged for a half size bigger and those were perfect. Second, note that these are really comfortable, but the sole is more like a tennis shoe or a moccasin - very soft - but room enough for orthotics which made them perfect. I've worn these in the early mornings, temps in the teens, and my feet stay warm and comfortable.

These are very comfortable boots. I wear custom orthotics and I can fit them inside this boot even with the insole in place. The insole is super cushy, making these very comfortable to wear. I haven't tried them in wet conditions yet but they feel very warm and toasty in cold weather. I did get a half size larger and that was the right choice.

Super cute, extremely comfortable. Definitely run small. I normally wear a size 8W or 8.5, and wound up having to get a size 9 in these boots.

I actually love this little boot. They were comfortable from the start and so warm. Wore them all around a trip to CO recently and they kept my feet warm and dry. Even trudged around in the snow for a full day with them and my feet were dry and warm. One thing though, keep in mind the tops are low so if you are in more than a few inches of snow you will get snow down the back of the boot and it will melt making back of your lower calf wet. This did happen but my feet remained dry so I was ok however if I had thought it through would probably have looked for a taller boot. They do fit a little on the small side so you might consider going up a half size if you plan on wearing thick socks with them. Overall, I'm glad I made the purchase.

The size and width is perfect for my narrow feet. I normally wear a size 8N and the 8M fits just fine even with heavier weight socks. The boots are comfortable but I have not yet worn them outside. Just waiting for the first snowfall or cold wet rain to wear them. It's true that if you have a medium width, that you should order a half size up. I have another Columbia pair of winter boots and they do run narrow as they seem to fit me fine too but it also helps when they are lace boots to tighten up even more if needed.

I wore these throughout last winter and loved them. I few events where I need to be outside for hours at a time (6+ hours each in 20s-30 degree weather) and they keep feet toasty warm. Uggs also did that for me, but the run of the mill shoe usually can't do that for me. In fact, so good I can't wear them to work or a place inside for more than a few hours or they get too warm. Good traction, very comfortable. Super happy with this purchase even after months of wear. Still look good too.

I love this boot!! I wanted it to fit so I wore it for a little while in the house but they're just too narrow. I always wear a wide but I wanted them enough to try a med. They are really cute but there's no wide.
