Overall meets my needs. Not flashy or interesting. A workhorse of a hand bag.

The bag itself is beautiful and just want I wanted. Plenty of nicely placed pockets and zippers. Perfect size, not too small, not too big. Prior to purchasing I had a feeling the thin strap would be an issue and cause some shoulder pain (I have neck and back issues), but due to the beauty of the bag I thought I could overlook it. Unfortunately, after a quick store trip, the weight of the bag did start to cause discomfort from the strap and I ended up returning the bag. If the strap were double the width, the bag would be perfect. No fault of the bag for the issue, sadly just not for me.

I used to have a Fossil Shoulder bag and I just loved it!! Unfortunately this crossbody is not as wide and roomy as my other bag. I think it would be hard to find items in the main compartment, unless you don't carry as much as I do! It is also a stiffer leather, and more boxy looking than I'd hope for. I did like all the exterior zip pockets to help you stay organized! Not a bad handbag, but not good for me.

I really liked this bag. However, for the price it did not hold up as well as I’d hoped.

This bag was exactly the right size and shape for what I wanted, but the appearance and quality was meh. It has a more rugged look than a nice purse, but it doesn't have that this-will-last-30-years look of something like a Frye bag. The was all leather, but the strap has cotton lining on one side. I'm sure this is useful to avoid slipping off the shoulder, but overall it didn't make me want to keep it. I was looking for an everyday/weekend purse for playground, grocery store, to-and-fro gym etc. and I didn't want to go to double, triple the price of this purse for a designer bag. Instead I opted for a vegan designer that Zappos doesn't carry. Fossil is high enough quality and perfectly functional - I always admire others' bags, then find that I dislike them in person. Maybe in a brown tone that lends itself better to this style, but for black I wanted a crisp, elegant appearance. So back it went.

Too small for my needs. I wish the top width was included in the description, it would help tremendously. The leather felt wonderful but was too “floppy” for me. The bag seems to just collapse on itself without any of the paper stuffing that came with the bag. Thank goodness for free returns cause this bag was returned.
