Review for Zappos VIP Points(What's this?)
I am 5'3 and for my 28 H to 28HH chest, I can honestly say that Embody is my HOLY GRAIL weight lifting day sports bra! The seams do show if you wear too tight of a top. But since I wear dark loose colors it works great for me. I don't use the racer back hooks they are not comfortable to me. But, I also wear this bra every day under a loose top so the seams do not show. Why ? Because the Embody gives my heavy, sensitive bust, superior support and comfort! I have put all my normal Panache, Freya and Curvy Kate everyday bras and sports bras in the garbage. Brooks Embody is a God send! Now, when I do cardio, I layer a Shock Absorber sports bra in 32 G over the top. And I will get ZERO bounce and 100% controlled compression. I don't need that much control unless I am going to jump or run. Lets face it ladies, when you are 120 pounds, but 10 of those pounds are on your chest it sucks trying to find a sports bra that is comfortable. Brooks is hands down my favorite sports bra company! The only thing I'd change about this bra, is I'd add an additional smooth layer of fabric over the top so seams would not show through But I would leave the supportive layer that is already on the bra. If I could Kiss Brooks sports bra design team I would! This bra has allowed me to get back into shape. Thank you for making a product for real women with real heavy, sensitive busts!

A great bra in so many ways. I loved how it felt. It appears to give great support. I returned it though. For one, I ordered a 32DD and cup size was too small (I average 32DD - so it must run small) and the other reason for return is all the seaming in the front of the cup. I wear my sports bras with a lot of thin dri-fit t-shirts and it looked like a road map with all the seaming. I like a smooth look. If that doesn't bother you, it should be an impressive bra.

The fit of this bra was good and it seems like it would be supportive. I just absolutely do not understand why they would put all the seams in the cup part of the bra. It was so incredibly lumpy under a shirt, it looked like I stuffed my bra with crumpled up newspapers.

Best bra EVER!! I wear a 34 G and this is the very first sports bra that actually holds me in place. I used to wear Victoria Secret but I no longer can. Running my 5 miles in the morning was pretty exhausting as my bra straps would fall.

This bra is truly amazing. I’ve never had a bra hold me this well! I am astonished at the support, style and comfort. Here’s Victoria’s Secret, not made for big busted women.

If my house was on fire, I would run in to save my Brooks Embody and Jubralee sports bras! I am 30 years old and I have waited my whole life for this sports bra! I have heavy, painful breasts! I wear a 32G. The Brooks Embody bra is the FIRST and ONLY sports bra made that I can wear every day, ALL day long! It is hands down my favorite bra ever made! The Embody gets the OLYMPIC GOLD Metal! I purchased over $3,600 of sports bras online but I sent all the bras back except for the Brooks EMBDODY and Brooks JUBRALEE and reluctantly a few Shock Absorbers! I did not find any other sports bra that had comfortable shoulder straps. In fact, all of them caused me severe shoulder pain just trying them on or wearing them for 3-5 minutes! But Brooks EMBODY and Brooks Jubralee sports bra have allowed me to get in shape! I CAN NOT LIVE WITHOUT the Brooks Embody. I now own 8 Embodies in each cup size available. I do 60 minutes of HITT cardio 6 days a week and I lift weights 3 times a week for 2.5 hours. This bra has absolutely NO competition at all on the market when it comes to comfort and support! I do wear it in the racerback style for cardio days. And the STRAPS are AMAZINGLY comfortable and they stay put! It does take a little extra time to wiggle into the racerback but the support I get is well worth every second! I have never had the clasp come undone. And I never have had any chafing from the bra. On days when I do cardio and my bust is extra sensitive I do layer a Brooks Jubralee sports bra over the top or one of my shock absorbers. If Brooks ever makes the Jubralee in cups over F, I will be the first to burn all my Shock Absorbers sports bras because the shoulder straps kill me. A quick note on sizing: Brooks and Shock absorber back sizes are different than lingerie. To find your size, measure the circumference under your armpits around your chest. That is your back size! I don’t know if this will help or not, but the fullest part of my chest is 36 1/2 inches which is a 32G cup for me. I weigh 128 pounds and I am 5'9. When I weigh 124 pounds I wear the 32FF. A quick not on looks: Some may see the support seams as a con but I do not! The support seams in higher DD+ cups are industry standard and very, very, very, necessary for larger cups. I do NOT get any chaffing from the seams at all! ! In order to hide the support seams, I wear cotton/polyester blend workout tops. The Brooks EMBODY sports bra is LIFE CHANGING! And it is the ONE AND ONLY sports bra I can wear ALL DAY long with no pain! Hallelujah! I will take the support any day! I have NO COMPLAINTS AT ALL!

There is a little puckering at the seams, but this is an amazing bra. It keeps things locked in place no matter how hard you run or jump, all without the dreaded "uni" look.

This is Moving Comfort's new style and I LOVE it! I'm a Juno fan (own more than TWENTY Junos in every color and pattern). As a 32DD who has done very, extremely HIGH impact cardio dance for over 40 years, I need serious support--but as a dancer, I want style, too. Got the sterling and was thrilled I had silver hip-hop pants that perfectly matched. Wore the Embody the day I got it. First off, it's the first Level D impact bra which I can wear with the straps crossed in back (with other brands that have this feature, one loses the "bracing" effect of the strap in the traditional mode). The bra has an underwire, which I like, and as with all Moving Comfort, every facet is duly padded--the hook closure, the underwires, the straps (which racks up the price of the bra--phenomenal tailoring). The front part is very interesting; inside is a "padded" separate part, as if one were to insert a cookie or something (but not: it's just unattached "padded part" that stabilizes the girls). I worried that this bra might cause a uni-boob, but no way. It's "low" enough in front for a modest bit of attractive cleavage, almost like a demi (we dancers gotta like fine!) I can't speak for runners (who tend to have chafing issues), or if you do spin or ride a horse (when I do spin, I wear the Maia), but for very, VERY high impact cardio (we're talking, jumping up and down REPEATEDLY to the FAST rhythm, with the heels of your feet hitting your buttocks!) you are girded rock solid. The sterling is knock-out pretty, too! I still like the Juno better, but one plus is THIS is waaaaaay easier to get on! I will definitely buy another when a new color comes out.

I like this sports bra. I feel that it runs a little small, so I recommend going up (I wear a 32E in regular underwire, I'm wearing a 32FF in this sports bra). The underwire rests comfortably against your body and the added support from the second layer of fabric gives you a lot of support for the boobs. I do have an issue with the side boob sticking out after a lot of movement because the of the cut of the bra, but not enough to bother me. Overall, I'm pleased.
Something that I did note: I felt the Brooks bra sizes seem to vary from bra to bra. For example, if you purchase two of the same bra in the same size, one band may be a bit bigger and the cups may vary as well. Something to keep in mind.

This bra felt amazing, but it is supposed to be no wire(tag even says "no wire") and it clearly has underwire. I am a post surgery patient and can't wear underwires so much return.

While I did appreciate the support/stability this bra offered, I am sending it back for two reasons. First, the seaming in the cups. The seaming along the nipple lines was both uncomfortable and unflattering. I can't imagine running and jumping around and chaffing along those seams. Second: I couldn't figure out how to put it on if I wanted the straps in the cross position. If the straps are in normal position, you can put it on like a normal bra. But if the straps are in the crossed position, you would need someone else to hook them on for you. Or pull the whole thing over your head (impossible). Two big design flaws I just can't get over.

Super hard to put on. If you want to wear it with the straps crossed you pretty much need someone else to fasten them for you. I would not buy this again. Also it looks terrible under a shirt, you can see all the seams.

this sports bra has an under-wire which wasn’t apparent to me when ordering it. This is not what I want in a sports bra.

Ordered my size 38G, couldn’t even close it to try on... maybe marked incorrectly? Loved the cobalt blue! Sad.
