I was excited to buy this and for a great price...but I ended up hating it the fit was all wrong the sleeves were to long and just didn't fit me the way I would have liked it to...but overall I liked the material Wished it would have worked out but ended up returning it

I SO wanted this to fit me. It is such a nice coat. I even ordered it in medium and large. The medium was the closest to fitting comfortably. I consider myself pretty average in figure, not flat-chested, but not huge either. Medium is usually my size. The arms on the large were quite long, though acceptable in the medium. and the chest and width across the back was not roomy enough. I could zip it and move around in it, but it just wasn't comfy enough. And it did not hang right when unzipped. It looked too small. I knew that I probably wouldn't wear it much. If you are not curvy and have long arms I would recommend this.

This was exactly what I was looking for in a fall jacket for work. I love the look, the style, the navy color, but I had yo return it because the sleeves are way too short and slightly too tight. I am 5'7" 125 lbs with long thin arms. Some north face outerwear fits me (Summit Series) and some does not. I was sad to return this one.

I ordered up a size based on some of the other reviews, and I think this was a mistake. My usual XS would have fit much better. The sleeves on this coat are really weird and long and bulky. They made my shoulders and arms look gigantic. It almost looked like they took the sleeves from a much larger coat and attached them to the one I got. The rest of the coat is cute and fleece-lined and seemed like it would keep me warm. It was just too disproportionate-looking and I sent it back.

I wanted a stylish coat for work and casual wear that provided protection in the rain/wind without needing to carry an umbrella. This coat was great except for the hood. It was way too small for an adult. It only covered the back 2/3 of my head (I have a very small head - usually wear child size hats). If you don't mind your hair and face getting wet or don't mind carrying an umbrella then this might work for you.
