I've worn them once and they look like they are 5 years old. Really disappointed.

The Drew Ginger is an okay-looking shoe. I wear a 5-1/2 2E in Brooks and New Balance running shoes. The front of my foot is wide, but my heel is of normal B width. I ordered both a 5 2E and a 5-1/2 2E in the Drew Ginger. The 5-1/2 2E was just a little too long so my heel slipped a bit too much. My heel did not slip in the size 5 2E, but the curve of the front of the shoe on my right foot hit my pinky toe in the wrong place so it was painful just to have the shoe on. I like the double removable insole. With both insoles the top of the shoe does not cut into the bottom of my ankle bone and it is still comfortable for my instep (my foot from sole to top is not high).

Drew, Drew, Drew...where did we go wrong? You are cute and comfy but you have a freaky toe box. It's high, but it's low. High in the wrong place and low in the wrong place. I removed one of the insoles as suggested by the manufacturer hoping to solve the toe box issue, but my big toe still hit the underside of the toe box and then the sides were too high and cut into my ankles! Argh! See Ya around Drew, but not in my closet.

Due to other reviews I ordered half size smaller and the fit was good; but I did not care for the metallic finish. To be really comfortable I would suggest adding a supportive insert to provide cushion and arch support. Really liked that they came in 11.5

I have a very difficult time finding shoes to fit my feet. I have CMT, one foot is approx a half size larger than the other and I wear WW. I wear specially made inserts & appreciate shoes that don't look orthopedic. The Drew shoes have been fitting well once I figured out what size I needed. They are very well made, comfortable, supportive and the additional inserts come in handy once they are broken in and have stretched out a bit. I received the dusty pewter color and was expecting a darker grey. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the box to find the color is lighter than pictured and has an iridescent (not pronounced) tone that blends well with tans, browns and black. I tried the gold in a different size - it's bright - and fun. Thank you Zappos for the amazing customer service, selection and ease of return. I'm constantly looking for comfortable shoes and can ALWAYS find a pair @ Zappos!

I am a healthy 53- year old with bilateral hallux rigidus and thus an enlarged big toe joint. Needless to say, I have customized orthotics that keep me active and sane. I love this Drew shoe because it does not look clunky in the least. It looks like a normal shoe, is attractive, neat, and looks well-made. These shoes are now my most comfortable pair of shoes to wear to work. I walk 15 minutes to work, and then am up and on my feet frequently throughout the day. So now I don't have to rely on orthotic-friendly athletic shoes with my business casual slacks. I have a nice, attractive alternative with these shoes. I wear them with black socks. Perfect for spring, summer, and fall!

Love them, keeping this one! Excellent width and depth. Customizable depth and orthotic friendly. Velcro strap sits close to ankle so closure is as secure as an oxford with no slipping at heel. Sole is stable, flat, flexible, and wide. Attractive Greek fisherman style is airy for summer.

To me, this shoe is a little dressier than I thought it would be. Very comfortable and fits well. They are a little narrow, but not excessively so and not enough to send them back.
