I love my coat, fits perfectly! I'm a size 11-12, ordered a medium. The only problem I have is their bottom zippers, some are defective. First coat I ordered was Miss Metro, sent that back easily, service was wonderful and accommodating! Second coat was correct the metropolis parka II, but the zipper was defective. So sent that one back and got another coat. So far the zipper is holding up, I sure love this coat. I bought a gray one 4 years ago and it's still wonderful!! Customer service is great, they really want to please their customers!!

I have this coat in both black and deep garnet red. This style is warm without being bulky yet light weight enough to give you ease of movement. It also keeps me warm outside but not too warm in the car/train etc. The zippered pockets are perfect for keys/phone/ID. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this coat. The fact that I have purchased two of them should say it all. I did size up to fit bulky sweaters and suit jackets underneath. I normally wear medium in the NF Osito style but purchased large in this coat. It is absolutely perfect.

I bought this for my Grandmother after she fell in love with mine. She LOVES this! Won't take it off actually. It's not only extremely warm, but looks beautiful on her! She at first was unsure when I told her they had "purple" in her size. She felt like she may look like a giant grape. In fact she does not look like a grape at all. :) I am so happy with this purchase and next on the list is mittens/gloves to match!

I have a 10 year old coat that I wanted to replace size Small/petite. I ordered a small (on sale) but it was very snug in the chest.

I purchased this for my 15year old daughter. It was a great sale price for a long North Face jacket. I couldn't be happier with the delivery speed from Zappos!! The jacket fit great and is perfect for running around outside, going to school or even dressed up! Love the zip pocket!

I wish I loved this coat...the style is exactly what I was looking for. It's quite flattering for a down coat and the right amount of warmth without being bulky. The length is perfect. However, you would think that with how much this coat is, I wouldn't be losing down right and left like I am. There are no holes or tears and yet, even large pieces of down will work it's way out through the fabric. There are also loose threads everywhere. It's clear that I paid a premium for the name only and the subpar quality is extremely disappointing.

EXTREMELY disappointed in the quality of this jacket. Saw this jacket in the store and fell in love with it. My husband purchased the jacket as a Christmas gift. I have worn the jacket a handful of times. It sheds like crazy. To the point where my car seat looks white from all the down everywhere. I brought the jacket to the store requesting a refund as i am not happy with the quality of NORTH FACE products however was advised that they can only replace the jacket and can't refund because the jacket was worn. HELLO yes it was worn because i liked the jacket. All my other down jackets are from Patagonia and have never had an issue with the down coming out. After looking at the same jackets in the store you can see the down poking through on a handful of them. Not sure if the quality has become cheaper from the earlier reviews but no way i would want the same jacket. Even the store manager was like I'd be real mad too. I attached pictures of the jacket.

Fits true to size... great winter coat for everyday use.

This is my favorite coat. I bought two : one two or 3 years ago and another from this past season. It is beautiful, stylish, warm, arm length is great, has a hoody. Perfect. No negatives what so ever. Just hope they keep making them every season.

I haven't had this for the winter season yet -- but the styling is a perfect fit for me (I'm 5'8"; 130#). I purchased a small (I'm also small busted as I know this has been a factor for larger busted women - and it would be true for the cut). Great color (white) and the material seems durable. I'm very pleased!

Using this for our trip to Japan in December 2019. Haven't been able to use it yet but it fits perfectly. It feels light weight but super warm. Can't wait to use it!

I LOVE this jacket. I am petite but I have broad shoulders and this fits me perfectly. I ordered an XS, I'm 5'4" 115 and it fits perfectly. I'd highly recommend this jacket. I ordered it online without trying it on and I'm so glad I did. Wearing it in Saskatchewan, Canada and it works perfectly*

This coat is true to size. I’m 5’10” and I really like the length.

I use the jacket on a daily basis. I live in chicago where 9 months is winter . It keeps me warm in addition to be stylish.

I'm a small short woman, 5"2" & 110 lbs. This coat fits me like a glove, it's warm but very light weight, the fabric is soft and doesn't rustle when I walk. My husband also commented how great this coat fits me..I don't look like the Michelan(sp?) Man. Like the double zipper. easy to drive in. I also have a NF jacket & love that one too.

I use the jacket for the cold weather we have had this season. It is form fitting and looks good to use for numerous occasions.
