I decided to try the Gel-Surveyor 5 since the toe box of the Gel Kayano has gotten redesigned and is tighter. This shoe is very comfortable and feels very supportive for my runs.

This shoe is comfortable and nice looking. The color is more like galaxy blue so it matches more of my clothes. I wear a 9 1/2 dress shoe and I took a size 10 in this shoe. I am very happy with these shoes. Zappos is wonderful!

The toe box on these were so wide that I had to return them. I have a narrow heel and that was snug but my feet move around up front and it causes real problems. Asia seem to be running a bit shorter than they used to.

I have uber high arches and custom orthotics so I ordered a half size up. Perfect.

Comfortable, no break in period. I have a lot of foot problems & these keep my feet supported & comfortable. I do add arch supports. I recommend going 1/2 size up.

I love these shoes- I always buy asics but these are by far my favorite. I don't normally spend this much- but they were on sale and I am happy I made the investment. You get what you pay for in these shoes! They are extremely comfortable and easy on the feet.

I really like these shoes. My orthotics fit well and they are very comfortable. I have a slightly wide foot so I had to adjust the laces a bit. Overall very pleased.

Unfortunately these were not available in wide and they are too narrow in the toe box.

After trying many pairs from many companies (thank you Zappos)...I have a winner. Well made, great support, extremely comfortable right out of the box, great arch and true to size. I am happy and so are my feet.

Love these shoes! I have a hard time finding comfortable shoes for me feet, wish these came in more colors!

I bought these to replace my last pair of Gel Surveyors. Very comfortable and supportive. I wore Gel Kayanos for years before that, but with all the comments about the small toe box, I decided not to order any; besides, I didn't like any of the color combinations the Kayano came in. I got these in the shark/phlox/flash coral (translation: gray, purple, and orange) and FYI, the orange is very bright, like glow in the dark bright. That's the only thing I don't like about these, and I'll be buying different shoelaces to tone these shoes down.

Very comfortable - and I usually need a wide shoe. I replace the inserts with gel ones for added comfort.

These shoes are on my feet 9 hours a day, 5 days a week. They have great arch support and I've had no issues with the shoes.

Great cushioning and stability. I purchased these shoes based on the reviews comparing them to previous kayano's, closer to the 21's level of cushioning, support, and toe room. Newer versions of the kayano don't have nearly as much support as they use to and have a much smaller toe box. I purchased the phlox, they are more attractive in person than online, understated with just a pop of color!

This is a great shoe. It's extremely comfortable with great cushion. I needed another pair for work since I wear my shoes out walking around the hospital all day. These are great. They are true to size and are comfortable right out of the box. I also love the ASICS Gel-Nimbus. Both are excellent for walking on hard surfaces all day. I will be buying again.

I decided to try the Gel-Surveyor 5 from reading the reviews. I was not disappointed they are very comfortable and the toe box is roomy.

Normally I buy Gel Kayano. I thought I'd try something new. But when I walked, the area just below the big metatarsal bone gaped. My feet are thin-medium & my metatarsal area is a little wide & then my foot tapers. Otherwise nice shoe. So it not just looked like a gap but felt loose in that area so I am returning.

These shoes feel true to size. They have a mesh upper but still get hot. Good cushioning and arch support.

These shoes are really cute and I was very hopeful that they would work out. However, after wearing them on walks and to work out, I started having lower back and hip pain. I thought maybe I just needed to get used to them, but after three weeks the pain didn't improve. I went back to my old shoes and I no longer had the back / hip pain. The shoes fit well and felt true to size for me. They did feel pretty comfortable, but did not have a lot of cushion. These shoes might work out great for some people, but they just didn't work for me.

I ordered these and tried them on... I normally wear a 9.5 or a 10... the 10 was too small for me and they were too wide (I've got a narrow foot). Consequently, I returned them.
