I was looking for a replacement for my favorite everyday jacket, an older model TNF fleece jacket, but this is not it. I thought it might be the comprable newer model but it is heavier and bulkier. I wear my older fleece all day and never notice it. So comfy. This one is warm and well made but can't leave it on all day. Too bulky for me.

I've had my Denali 1 jacket for 11 years. It's finally worn down where I've got holes in the pockets' linings and the zipper broke after a tumble in the dryer. This time around, I bought the same size but different color. After trying it on for the first time, I could tell something was different. The sleeves are longer and wider, and the body/waist of the jacket is slightly wider too. I'll have to look at sizing down. This jacket is great for weather down to mid 50s, but in my 11 years of wearing this jacket, this has never protected me from the wind. Cuts right through!

I'm a 5'2" 110 lbs female. I bought a size small and ended up returning it for an xsmall. The jacket is super comfy and soft, however, it does run large.

Yes. Love the jacket, having trouble with the left breast pocket zipper, it's very hard to fish it out when it hits the bottom of the zipper. It needs a string pull on it, like the other pockets have.

I have one of this coats already and love it. My husband got me a new one but ordered the wrong size. I do feel they run a little small for me. But I will be ordering the bigger size as soon as the money is put back on my card.

I ordered the black Denali but when I got it in the mail turns out the logo stitching was also black (can't really see The North Face logo) , the website is very misleading as it shows a lighter color logo stitching. I would've return but I waited a long time for it to be shipped since it was ordered during the holidays.

My sister loved it but wanted me to get a bigger size, she loved the color, style, how it felt as if it was meant for her.

The jacket is super cute and comfortable. It fits a little small so I recommend getting one size up than normal. It is a warm jacket, good for early winter, but not suited for extremely cold temps. Still super comfortable and I wear it all the time!

Okay...this is the firsts time that I write something about Northface's product. I do like this brand, and this jacket is in a very good quality and feels comfy, however, it is really bulky for me, I usually wear M of Northface's clothes, so I bought M. I believe small would be much better... it feels like this is a large size.

Stylish jacket. I like "loose" fit, but this jacket looked a little bulky on me. I loved the eggplant 2-tone colors. The sleeves are slightly long, but I have a great tailor that could remedy that. Warm jacket for cold weather without the feel of heaviness. Unfortunately, I returned the jacket because i didn't like the loose fit. I would recommend to women that need a little extra room for movement.

I KNEW I had to get this jacket as soon as I saw the balsam/spruce green one in store!Unfortunately, they didn't have my size in stock so I purchased this online for the same price.
-The color is beautiful! I get compliments all the time because its different from the ordinary black fleece ones you see everyone else wear. Yay!
-I am a petite, 5'0 108lb girl so I ordered the XS and its still pretty baggy and loose fitting on.
-Otherwise, its comfy and lightweight.

College student living in the bay area where it if much colder than what I'm used to back home. Bought this jacket to keep my warm while looking effortlessly stylish. Chose the Balsam green color to match w/ the everyday black leggings look or if I'm not feeling bloated -denim jeans lol. I was really debating between the green and the blue w/ black block but I'm glad I got green because it's color is much like an army, military parka color so I can match with brown or black boots depending on my choice of top and bottoms. yay for versatility! I definitely will be living in this jacket once the cold weather starts kicking in again or if I am out for an evening in the frkn cold bay area climate. Love how its casual but you can def try fancy-ing it up w/ a cute pair of booties. But lets be real, I will be throwing this jacket on once midterms and finals season come rolling thru since I could care less about what I look like as long as I stay warm and comfy. That being said, I'm a petite 5'0 ft/ 110lb girl so even tho I bought the XS, the jacket is a bit baggy and long on me but I like that comfy look and knew to expect that before purchasing this. The only thing I dont like is that i think this jacket accentuates my broad shoulders a bit.

I used the size finder to check to make sure I'd get the right size - I always seem to need different sizes based on the brand and another North Face that I have is too short. I'm 5'7" and about 130 pounds so it said to buy a Medium. The jacket fits well in the arms, but there is a lot of room around the body. I will keep the jacket because it is not too horribly big, but if I buy another one I will probably buy a small since I could feel the cold air coming up from the waist. While I have plenty of room around the waist to fit other layers under it, a heavy sweater felt like the max I could really fit in the arms without feeling too tight. If you aren't sure what size to buy, I would find it in a store first and not trust the size guide.

Love the Denali 2. Love it so much I have two jackets. The plain black one and the black wig the black and white design on the front. I can dress it up and wear it to work, dress it down for the gym and use it on my casual day to day grocery shopping/coffee dates! I would probably buy a third but may venture out to a different style! I love North face!

This is the perfect winter jacket. It looks really thin but it is extremely warm. The only weird thing is it tends to shock me when sitting down in some chairs or when touching something metal. The design is super cute as well and the pocket on the side makes it easy to access things. The material is woven pretty right so it's a very durable jacket. When in rain or snow it doesn't soak through very easily making this jacket wearable wherever I go.

This jacket is wonderful for transitioning into the winter! It's comfortable and fits well. The only thing is it doesn't protect you from wind, especially when it's really cold out.

I've had a Denali fleece for many years and needed to size down. I saw the "Denali 2" come out this fall and thought there must be a noticeable change/improvement from the prior version. I'm 5'4", 140 lbs and originally ordered a size L. That seemed bit big, so I exchanged for a M. I liked the fit of the M but then realized I really preferred the arm cuffs from the old style! The new style looks nice but there's no way those cuffs are going to hold up your sleeves. I nearly live in my fleece on the weekends during the winter and want the ability to push those sleeves up and hold them there and this new style just doesn't do it. I returned it and bought an old style instead. If the arm cuffs aren't a big deal for you, then there's absolutely nothing wrong with this new style.

I love North Face products always have since high school. I have to say that this Denali 2 is different in a couple ways. The fleece is definitely different than the fleece used in the regular Denali. Not sure if it's better or not. Just feels a bit softer I suppose. Not a bad thing.
One thing I just do not like are the cuffs on the sleeve and the tie cord on the waist.
The cuffs are made thin & I'm sure will stretch over time. They should have kept the original cuffs.
The tie cord is real thin so I imagine if you pull to hard or get caught on something it'll pop.
I can't even find the old Denali's any where so I got this one. I'm hoping it survives as long as my original Denali.
As for sizing small fit great with room to wear a sweater under. At least the sizing is still great with North Face.
