This is a surprisingly versatile jacket. It is lightweight and easy to move around in like your normal soft shell jackets, but also has a wonderful, soft inner lining that provides a lot needed warmth on colder days.

I bought one locally that was a size L. It fit too tight so I took it back, but they did not have a larger size. Then I went and found it at Zappos and ordered an XL from there. It fits perfectly and I love it. I wanted it loose enough to be able to put a sweater or vest under it. It has been 20F here all week and I have been cozy wearing it!

The lining is so soft and the jacket has a decent weight- very cozy. It has a bit of a swish sound due to the outer layer but I don't mind it. It's my favorite North Face I've ever had!

This jacket has become my all time favorite. Its amazing. Recommend it to everyone

I got this jacket from a little boutique in Conway NH as a birthday gift to myself and I absolutely love it. I usually wear an XS but I'm glad I got this in SM because it seems like it might run a little small. I did not try on the XS but the way the SM fits I can tell the XS would be too tight, especially with heavier layers in the winter. I am looking to purchase another one in a different color. Love the asphalt gray! and NF, I LOVE that you are partnered with Klarna now!!!

My two teenage daughters and I own seven Shelbe Raschel Hoodies. This is the best clothing item I've EVER owned. Completely stops the Northern Plains wind. Perfect for casual, dress, schooltruly anything.

This coat is great for mild precipitation and wind. Very warm and wind resistant for cycling. Luxurious inner fleece layer!

I really love the color and how it pops!! The fir isn't terrible, except around "the girls" it was a bit snug, I was wearing a sweatshirt under as well although it is definitely not necessary! This jacket has a warm interior lining and it zips up to your face to prevent the wind from smacking you! I would definitely recommend to others. I ordered my regular size which is an XL and I feel it fits pretty good

I'm usually a medium but you definitely have to size up if you want this jacket to fit after Thanksgiving! Lol

I really love this jacket. The things I love is the weight of it and that it is warm. The color is almost a maroon purple brown color and it's beautiful! For the bad, I read the fit is small and I normally wear an XL, after reading reviews I got the 3xl and glad I did. It fits perfect with a little wiggle room. Also the Northface logo on the front chest and on the back is printed and not sewn, I felt this cheapened the jacket and makes it look fake/generic. Make the quality look cheap. Other than that I got this half off with my health card discount and am very satisfied overall. Thank you NF for recognizing us nurses!

This coat is so cute! I live in Minnesota and it has been a perfect coat for the fall/winter transition time. It is a little smaller than expected. I usually wear a medium, I sized up to a large accommodate a sweatshirt. It is a little snug with a sweatshirt under, but still comfy! Love it!

Great jacket, I was surprised to see it called a "Hoodie" since it looks like a variation of one of their softshell jackets. And when I received it, I still think I would call it a softshell. The inside is very soft and the lining is lush. The weather is starting to cool down here in the Midwest so I am excited to use this. I would call this jacket fitted and would also recommend sizing up if you are wanting to wear anything thicker than a sweatshirt underneath. I purchased in the color "Asphalt Gray" and would say that it was true to color as well.

I wear this jacket in the fall, winter, and spring. It fits well enough to my body (5'1 and 105 lbs) that I feel warm but big enough to fit a pullover sweatshirt underneath and still zip-up. The inside lining is super soft and is definitely worth the price!

This jacket fits very well with just a T-shirt underneath and has enough room to have a sweat shirt on and still enough room. It has fleece through out the whole jacket arms even hood. The pockets are lined w a diff fleece. I order a small I'm 5'0 130lbs and fits perfect goes little pass my butt which I like and enough to cover my hands if I wanted to open up a door and use my jacket to open it so my hands don't touch. Got the charcoal gray color great color. Have been wearing this as and everyday coat in snow and rain holds up well rain runs off the jacket and keeps warm in winter. And no to hot to be wearing from winter to spring weather or fall weather. If this wasn't an expensive jacket I would get more colors.

I purchased item to have something in between fluctuating weather. Perfect wind protectant. The hood fits perfectly and the full zip allows for true coverage of neck area. Quality and affordable product.

This jacket is just what I was looking for. It has the fleece lining all through the coat from hood to arms and pockets, which pockets are a diff fleece lining. I have worn this out in the rain it wasnt raining to hard but you could tell the water drops were just sliding off so that worked. It hasnt been to windy out to test that but have worn this in 30 degree weather so far with a little wind and kept me warm. I normally wear smalls in coats and other shirts/sweat shirts. So this small fit how a normally small would fit me, still gave me enough room to wear a sweat shirt underneath and not be tight also could be worn with a t-shirt and still doesnt look too big on me. Im 5'0 130lbs perfect length for me and enough to cover my butt the arms cover my whole arm to my hand enough to cover my hand if needed to like open a car door type. I got the dark asphalt color which looks just like the color in the picture. I had ordered the light gray too to see which one I liked better the light gray looks just like the color in the pic, but returning it cause picked the dark gray. Not really sure if theres any cons with this jacket least none with me, would be more but the price is a little steep for me. But I have been wearing this jacket everyday so far in MI weather.

I wear this anywhere, work, out to any occasion goes well with any outfit, very cute, matches with all. Really love the color!!!

The size is great, it's warm and comfortable but the only downside (for me) is that, with me being technically considered as a "tall" person, the sleeve length wasn't as long as I would prefer. But overall it's a well made, quality jacket and I will definitely be purchasing other products in the near future.

This is a great Spring color but perfect in Alaska since we still have snow in Spring. The inside is incredibly soft.
