I'm disappointed. Asics seems to have changed the shape of several of their styles. They have become more pointed. The toe box on this shoe is too narrow and I have a narrow foot. If I go up a size, they are too long and sloppy. I wish they'd go back to the more rounded toe.

I loved the colors in this shoe and thus I wanted to like it. Unfortunately, even if I used my orthodontics, there was not enough arch support. I will replace it with the Asics Gel-Kayano 23.

Strange shoe. Looks awesome. Most ASICS have a large/roomy toe box but that is not true with this shoe. I would compare it to a Nike toe. So what was it that I didn't like about it mostly?? My big toes oddly pushed up into the mesh area. Was really weird because there was plenty of room for my toes, almost a half size beyond the tip of my toe, but why did they push up into the mesh? I don't know. Overall they just weren't as comfortable as I had hoped. Sadly, had to return.

A little follow-up my last review of these shoes. I purchased the shoes two months ago. I still like them but there are holes in the shoes. The upper mesh part in the area of the big toe...each shoe! This shouldn't happen so soon... especially at the price.

I hate to be writing a negative review because I loved last year's version of this shoe, but this year's version is awful. I don't know what could have happened in a year, but apparently all the wrong things did. I run an average of 8-10 miles a week. I've been training for a 20k so lately that has been more. I've had last years Quantum 360 for a year...probably longer than I should have...and they were amazing. Had a ton of support for my high arches and were so comfortable right out of the box. So when it was time to buy new shoes, I went with what I loved. I didn't care that they were expensive because I knew how good they were. Well, the first time I wore them they gave me a blister on the back of each heel and one on the top of my fourth toe..weirdest place ever for a blister to show up. I figured I'd give them a bit to break in, but after wearing them for 2 weeks I ran my first long run in them this past weekend. Horrible. Blisters everywhere. I feel like the laces do not go high enough up your foot and therefore cause the shoe to slide..causing blisters on the backs of my heels. There is also a seam on the top of the toes that I think is what caused the blisters on my fourth toe. I was wearing thick socks too. I'm hoping they eventually break in because they were so expensive, but my feet are paying for it. And even though Zappos has the best customer service around, I doubt they will let me return a shoe I've worn for a month. I love Asics for their arch support, but I will never buy this model again. If they had just stuck with last year's. It was perfect.

This is a great shoe for a nurse or someone that stands on their feet all day. It's very cushioned. However it's not the best long distance run shoe. It's stiff and heavy. If you are looking for a run shoe definitely buy the nimbus.

I don’t know what’s going on with ASICS but these were awful. I kept thinking I’d wear them in so I kept them, but they put awful blisters on my heels. And I don’t mean where the shoe rubs my heels, I mean on the very bottom of my foot. They were also just very tight and uncomfortable. I gave them to a friend who has the same size but narrower feet than me.

Defective right shoe? Inside, top of tongue very rough and rubbed, making my right foot very sore with 1st wearing. I am returning, hoping to get refund even though they were worn once and should not be re-sold.

I've worn Asics for years and was not able to wear this shoe because it was too narrow. Very little arch support. Ended up ordering a Brooks running shoe and it fit perfect.

The color of the India Ink & Coral shoe looks very black online. In person, it's more of a navy/charcoal look. I have VERY skinny feet so when I saw that this shoe was more narrow than it's predecessors, I thought it would be perfect. I was wrong...This shoe is so tight that my toes fell asleep when I was sitting and wearing them. I cannot even imagine how bad they would hurt during a workout. I had to return them. For the price-point, there are definitely better shoes out there.

These are terribly stiff, with high pointy backs that rub on your Achilles tendon. The design of the gel makes your step flat as if you were wearing a military boot. The shoe is slightly heavier but that is to be expected because of the gel.

These are the worst running shoes I’ve ever put on my feet. They are heavy, clunky, and gave me horrible blisters after wearing them inside my home for an hour. Lovely colors and design and very sad I couldn’t keep them. They just don’t fit correctly and sadly I’ll have to return them.

I tried this shoe in 2 sizes and both were painfully narrow. I loved the aesthetics so I was determined to make them work but the shoe dug into the crown of my big toes in both sizes :(

I purchased a pair about a year ago and I thought it was the most comfortable shoes ever! I don't know what asics did to this particular style but it isn't good. My feet have never hurt like this or any asics shoes that I have ever owned have made my feet hurt so bad. I thought it was maybe the sizing so I exchanged them for a bigger size and they were still killing my feet. I've been a loyal asics customer for 10+ years and I will continue to wear them just not the quantum style. I wore them for a week+ and I don't know if zappos will let me return them worn.

I bought these shoes over a month ago and do not like them at all. I have always purchased Asics and never had any problems. The material on this shoe is non giving. The most uncomfortable running/workout shoe I have ever purchased. When you tie shoe the fit is too tight. Then when you loosen laces shoe is too loose. Constantly having to adjust laces.
