Bought the vest for camping, hiking, biking and casual wear to run errands and go shopping. It is just perfect fo all these. Not bulky yet comfy and warm. I am large on the bust and thought the vest might mot fit me. I was wrong. It fits great and goes perfectly with some long sleeve flannel shirts that I purchased. I love it and of course the North Face Company is noted for their outstanding quality which is why I chose to buy this vest. The vest is very well made and has the quality I was looking for. You will not be disappointed if you buy one of these beautiful functional vests. I will definitely buy more.

Use for keeping warm when it's not really cold enough to need a heavy winter coat

I got this as a gift for my mom for Christmas and she loved it! It's comfortable and affords her room to move while keeping her insulated in the cold. It makes for a great gift for someone who loves the outdoors.

Here in Colorado insulated vests are wonderful . . keeps the core warm while the Sun does the rest! This is an excellent vest that I wear all the time . . even around the house so I don't have to turn the furnace up! Well worth the price.
