Fits well and is very comfortable (and cute!) but is truly a vest and can sub for a jacket in the short term. I wore this to Vancouver in minus Celsius weather and it kept me warm in the snow but not for long (duh, it's a vest!). I love it.

I received this as a gift from my husband at Christmas, and it's my favorite vest yet. I am a big girl - 5'9" 240 lbs, with a 42H chest - and it fits my chest and hips perfectly! I love that it is stylish, flattering, AND it has been great on my winter day hikes. I hate wearing a bulky jacket, and it has provided enough warmth when paired with a hoodie when I am hitting the trails. I have the black vest, and it has a beautiful sheen that makes it great for dressing up. The stiching is very flattering. I want them all!

Great vest - kept me warm in Crested Butte. I wore this under my ski coat and out at night. Versatile and cute.

I absolutely love this vest. I bought it to layer for cold winter outdoor soccer games and it's helped tremendously!

I've tried and owned numerous "puffer" vests. This one is rather thin, but decently warm. This cut and style, in addition to the fact that has less bulk, gives a nice flattering look. I actually sized down, to XS, and I rarely wear XS anything. It allowed for a sleek trimmed look with sweaters or whatever, and looks super. It's not the warmes puffer vest out there, but I would assume if one wanted full-warmth one would actually buy a coat with sleeves. One more. It's: the color, Cosmic Blue, oh my, such an attractive color!!

Great vest. Runs true to size-I'm a 34D and found small to be a good fit. Vest is the right amount of bulk-not too thin yet you don't feel like a marshmallow in it either. And at sale price, couldn't resist getting more than one!

I purchased this for my daughter and she absolutely loves it. She wanted a vest that was stylish and not too puffy. This one fit the bill. She loves the stitching design and it fits very well - it's warm but not too warm to wear inside all day. Since the material does have a sheen to it - it can be dressed up or wear casually. Zappos was extremely fast in restocking this item - since it had sold out in her size, I ordered from another popular sporting retailer but it wasn't as nice a price as Zappos. I kept checking back at Zappos just in case and they quickly got it back in stock and shipped out immediately and we received the item long before the other retailer even fulfilled the order in their warehouse. Zappos has the best price out there and by far the quickest shipping as well. Thanks Zappos for quality product and service!!

First NF vest (TNF Black, XS) I own and really love it. So much I bought my sister one for Christmas and she loves her too (Cosmic Blue, XS). Originally bought a size SM but it was too roomy (almost boxy) so exchanged it for XS. Very stylish, very convenient to just grab and go when running errands with kids or going to yoga studio or gym. Simple style, yet so functional and warm enough to wear when temps hover in mid 50's (great with a cable knit sweater underneath or any dry fit athletic top). Got several compliments from friends on how nice it looks. Highly recommended!

WOW! I'm amazed at the sheer beauty of this vest! First decision was selecting the appropriate size. My purpose for this vest was to wear it under a jacket, so I wanted to be a little tight fitting to protect me from the harsh winter temperatures, but not too tight to where if I raise my arms, this vest will rise up. I have a small frame, 5'3 and about 107 pounds and I normally wear a size small for most brands. I tried the "find true fit" on The North Face website which suggested I order an XS and after scrolling through a couple of reviews, I went with the XS and boy was I right! The XS is the perfect fit, not too tight, not too baggy! It fits perfectly underneath my larger wool jackets and does a great job of keeping me dry and warm. The pockets are lightly lined with fleece protecting your hands from the cold. Best of all, the pockets have zippers so that you can comfortably put your phone in there without it falling. Next, was the color! The Cosmic Blue is just stunningly elegant! It goes great with jeans and everything else! There's a light shininess to it which makes it seem extremely elegant! You will look beautiful in this amazing color! I highly recommend this!

Love this vest from North Face. I wear it almost everyday. i had ordered the Large and it was too loose but by the time I went back on the website to order the medium they sold out so I decided to just hold on to it. Great looking vest and got it on sale too. Thanks you. Go Team Zappos!!!!

I already reviewed this vest, but I wanted to say I am still loving this vest, no regrets. However, while shopping for a hoodie to go with it, I found the perfect matching hoodie here on Zappos, by Northface same color name deeoest spruce. I got it today and it lloks fantastic together. Really a beautiful green.
